Analytic Report for Activity Managment

Hi Guys,
I try to test a report for Activity Managment in BI.
However the standard query has error and the note 692195 refer to use BDOC BUS_TRANS_MSG, but this instalation doesn't have integration for this documento with ECC (document are standalone in CRM).
If I review the tx SMW01 I found a Queue in wait for send (but I don't wan to sent to ECC). I don't have suscription for this BDOCD, but the analytic report doesn'twork
Any idea?

BI automatically activate Middleware for send the data from CRM to BI. But, you need to complete the configuration without Suscription

As I understand, the site web analytics reports cannot work in SharePoint 2010.
1. You could check the details about the error in the ULS log.
2. Install the hotfix that is dated June 29, 2010 to check if it can work.

Analytical Reports for CEO 's and higher management

Dear Experts,
What kind of analytical reports provided in SAP-B1 which help CEO and other higher management in making decision for ex. consider the scenario suppose turn over of a company is let say 5 crore now if CEO want's to make turn over 10 crore then how SAP-B1 will help CEO, will B1 generate analytical reports to assits him to make decision.
I have one thing can some functionality of Business Intelligence (BI) is there in SAP-B1 pls correct me if wrong

Business intellegence is s/w which provide analytical data for CEO's to make decision which resides on ERP s/w
so my question the reports which are available in BI can be made ion SAP-B1 or not , the one kind of report is like once CEO has seen his turn over now when he want to increase the turnover by some % now he will enter that % and the system will tell him how many manpower and infrastature needed how is production target and how much should be sales manager's target
can we do it in SAP-B1, its readily available in BI s/w which is 3 times costly than SAP-B1

Custom reports for servers managed by administrators

Hi,
I'm trying to create a report using the report builder but I need some helps. First I have added the attribute "Managedby" in my system discovery method.
Now i want to create a report that display the server name, the OS, and the managed by attribute. How can I do that ?

Standard report for Activity types in REM scenario.

Is there any standard report like MCRP, MCP6, MF12 in REM scenario to capture time booked for Activity types? Please revert.

Thanks for your prompt reply. We need to track Activity types booked in terms of quantity. We checked all the transaction code that you suggested.
The track of Activity type is also possible in standard SAP system provided we do Separated Backflush only.
T-code- MF12:
Field Name- Production Activities:*
Production activity posting in worklist
If you select this indicator, the system only displays the document logs for which production activities still have to be posted.
The selected documents provide you with a worklist which you process using the separate backflush transaction.

Error in report for activated hierarchy

Hello Experts,
I have following problem in my report:
I have created 1 hierarchy for 0cust_sales infoobject other than Standard hierarchy.to get this hierarchy in place have done following steps:
created authorization object with 0cust_Sales + Authorization for hierarchy infoobject 0TCTAUTHH and actiavted it in required data target.
created authorization value for above hierarchy and maintained in the user role.
then created 1 report where hierarchy for 0cust_Sales is active and 1 authorization variable has been created for that hierarchy and restricted 0cust_Sales.
in my data target already 1authorization object is active which is based on 0sales_off.
in my report where I have assigned 0cust_Sales hierarchy, 0sales_off hierarchy is also maintained.
Problem comes when am executing the report where 0cust_sales hierarchy is not active with message - NO MASTER MAINTAINED FOR 0CUST_SALES HIERARCHY.
My problem is, I want 0cust_sales hierarchy only in 1 report but as auth object of 0cust_Sales is active on data target, error comes whenever report NOT CONTAINING 0CUST_SALES hierarchy is executed.
How to deal with the situation where hierarchy required only for 1 report..please guide me

Do we need to pull consistent detail objects of all the13 levels in the hierarchy to the WebI query ?
For Example, I have pulled all 13 level dimension objects (Blue), Org unit Key (Detail Green Object) for only L03,L04 and Org Unit Medium Name (Detail Green Object) for L08,L09.
Do I need to pull all 13 dimension (Blue Object), all 13 Org Unit Key and all 13 Org Unit Medium Name? I mean do we need to select consistent detail objects consistent across the levels?

ABAP report for Active Product Categories by Vendor

I have been trying to write an ABAP report in SRM to list all vendors attached to active product categories. My problem is identifying the active product categories. Can anyone help me identify these?

Some alternative is in KSB1 (Cost center line item report) - you can change the layout and include offsetting account and its text.
But, in vendor line item report, if you want vendor number, vendor number, GL account number (offsetting) account and its text, then you should go with abap development.
Have a look at the following note, if really serves your purpose.

Dear Expert,
My client has specific rule that on every 3rd Late coming half CL should get deduct from quota.
I wrote PCR and have value in daily balance for deduction from cl quota. now what to do to deduct from quota. the deduction should revert if the data is regularise through 2001/2002/2011 .
I tried to use through function UPDTQA.. but this is deduction every time if i force run the employee.
Any valuable input will be helpful.

Need a Vulnerability Severity Report for Patch Management

In the standalone version of patch management (v6.4) there was a dashboard feature on the server home page called Vulnerability Severity. It was a graphic chart that displayed the percentage of un-remediated applicable vulnerabilities vs applicable vulnerabilities grouped by vulnerability severity. This feature is not available in the BusinessObject Enterprise InfoView. It looks like the only way I have of getting this feature is to create a report, but I am not an expert at using InfoView. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on creating such a report?
The only predefined report that even comes close is the Vulnerability Analysis report, but it's hundreds of pages long. I need something on a single page, like a chart, showing the percentages grouped by vulnerability severity (critical, recommended, optional).

Activity Management in CRM

Dear Sir,
Can we create the template for Activity Management in CRM ?
It look like that when we create the new activity , we will select the tempalte 1, there will be showed the wording in NOte.
when we select the template 2 , there will be showed the wording in note which different for thw wording.

yeah u can achiecve this,just go inside the activity journal in the easy access,there you can maitain the template as and how you like
there you can write ur text and remembner before saving you got to release the same for the further use
and in similar way you can maintain another template with different text,
also your requirement can be achieved by creating a customised smartform for the activity transaction in which it will be the way you like your template(the layout will be customised)

I've never worked with Access as a database, before. But, if this were SQL (and it might work), then, yes, a LEFT OUTER JOIN would do the trick.
SELECT ta.Lastname, ta.Firstname, ta.EmpID, ta.MgrEmpID, ta.Email, ta.Location
FROM TableA ta LEFT OUTER JOIN TableA tb ON tb.MgrEmpID = ta.EmpID
ORDER BY ta.Lastname, ta.Firstname, tb.Lastname, tb.FIrstname
Or something like that.
