Analyze the raw trace file

Hello,
I am beginner in oracle and i need to analyze the trace file, i have traced a session and converted the raw trace file into txt and html file using trace analyzer ,but after that how can i read or identyify which one produces a problem.
Please anyone suggest me .

You need Adobe camera raw version 8.7. Unfortunately your software pre-dates the camera. ACR 8.7 is only compatible with PSE13. But it is possible to download and install the free DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)

I have version 4.4.1 on my computer now, which is functioning properly - but does not read the .ARW files. When I download the link you sent and try to open it, it pops up as version 5 and I get this image (attached). I have a Canon PowerShot S50 that I has the samw RAW profile as the Canon PowerShot S60.
I've successfully added it to the raw.plist file and updated the CodeResources file with a new key via terminal, and now aperture displays the thumbnail, and very briefly the larger 'image' in my second monitor, but then within a second it reverts to 'unsupported file type'.
Has anyone found a solution to this?
Someone seems to have found a fix on this forum for a different camera, but I'm still struggling (and I've tried renaming the camera name with and without space/underscores, etc)
(Why Apple hasn't added some of these cameras by now is beyond me - that such simple additions haven't been made is totally inexplicable.)

Read the raw image file

I want to read the raw image file , i have the basic labview 8.0 version

That is a broad question... I'll make some asumptions.
I think you have a file with some raw image format. This can be quite a few formats. Every camera firm has it's own proprietry format. Often, when talking about a raw image, it is simply a 2d array of colors. So you'll have a file with numbers that are U8's that represent R G B, alpha R G B, B G R, etc., or a U32 that represent the same, combined in one U32...
The data can be stored binary or ASCII. Both formats are handled differently.
The ASCII format can be one large array of data, or seperated with enters for each scan line.
In both cases, you might need to remove information, like height and width, from the data before parsing the image data.
You can use the "Spreadsheet String To Array" to convert the a ASCII string to a LabVIEW 1D or 2D array. Or use "Read From Spreadsheet File.vi" to read the file directly as an array. Use Reshape Array to convert a 1D array to a 2D array.
The binary file is a bit different. Use "Read Binary File". It will get you a string. This string is a converted array of U8, the string doesn't need to be ASCII. convert this string to an array of U8's, with "String To Byte Array". Convert the 1D array just like before.
Now you have a 2D array. You can convert it into a pixmap with "Flatten Pixmap.vi". You can then display it in a picture control with "Draw Flattened Pixmap.vi".

I am trying to find out the bottlenecks on a storedprocedure, which does a insert into a table, where the target table has lot of indexes/constraints, so i want to see, which indexes/constraints is causing the problem. so in order to do I want to get the session trace files and also the TKPROF reports to see the bottlenecks for a oracle stored procedure,
Could you please give us the list of steps to get the tracefiles and tkprof reports.

I want to compare background session properties for both runs (like inserting the data with indexes/constraints vs without indexes/constraints). please let me know..I am willing to bet you the problem/slowness is on the SELECT side & not the INSERT!

Were all just users here no Apple employees so no one can say (and if Apple was here they wouldn't say either)'
It's just not the type of information Apple gives out. You can go to Aperture->Provide Aperture Feedback to let them know you want his camera included. But when that will happen is anyone's guess.
One strategy you can use for the time being is to shoot RAW + JPG (assuming the camera has this mode) and import both as a RAW+JPG pair making the JPG the master. Then when the RAW support comes out you can switch and make the RAW the master and process the file.
There are other ways to deal with this until the camera is supported. Post back for more info.

Where is the user trace file?

I have issued the statement below to enable sql trace in session 260 ,and it execute successfully.but i can not find where the trace file in directory $ORACLE_BASE/admin/testcs/udump (testcs is my database name).

Did you issue some queries after turning tracing on? The trace file might not be created until there is some activity in the session.
I know that DBMS_SYSTEM is documented in the O'Reilly Press book "Oracle Built-in Packages" by Feuerstein, Dye & Beresniewicz.
However for tracing I think that Oracle expects you to use the dbms_support package:

Can't find the application trace file

Hi,
I know the xi.log but where will trace statements like TRACE.debugT(...) in our xi module adapter application be written?
We can't find the trace file.
We searched in the log viewer and on the file system by itself.
Did we configure something wrong?
In the log configurator of the visual administrator I selected in advanced mode the MIN, MAX and Severity to DEBUG.
The suggested destination I did't change.
I defined also a relative controller with the controller name 'Debug'.
But after saving the node and testing we can't find the trace file.
Do we have to configure something else beside this?
Does anybody have an idea?

After creation of your location-destination-formatter
Go to Visual Administrator Server>Kernel > LogManager and set ForceSingleTraceFile to NO. I think a restart will be required.

How do I archive the raw video files from my camcorder to ext hd?

I have a couple hours of video sitting on my Canon Vixia HF S10 HD camcorder. I don't need to edit them in iMovie (at least for now) but I would like to keep those raw video files for use at a later date and get them off my camcorder. I want to put them on my external HD if that's the best thing to do. Does anybody know the best way forward with this task?

Open iMovie. Attach your camera via USB. The iMovie Import Screen will come up. Do NOT click Import All. But at the bottom of the import screen, you will see a button that says ARCHIVE ALL. Push this button with your mouse and select a folder on your external drive to store the Archive. (and give it a name). Later on, when you want to edit your movie, you can open iMovie and select FILE/IMPORT...FROM ARCHIVE, and import this into iMovie just as if your camera is attached.
The first time you do it, I would recommend going through the whole procedure and importing a least some of the archive into an iMovie Event. Once you are sure it is working for you, you can delete the files on the camera.

Exporting only xmp information and not the RAW image file

Hi. I am using Lightroom 3. I imported RAW files from an extrenal disc and then worked on files adjusting the images. Is it possible for me just to export the xmp file instead of exporting all the RAW images again to my external hard drive? I assume the xmp has all the adjustments that I have made to the image? Any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks

I tried control s and I assume that is for a windows machine as nothing happens on a mac. I did forget to say that I am using a mac. thanks again.

TKPROF LINES IN TRACE FILE

Hi,
Maybe someone can explain something to me. I ran tkprof on a trace file and the result was there was no output except for one line item. It read that there were 6800 lines in trace file. I wish to read these lines but am unable because I don't know how to format the command.
Would someone please explain to me how to get this utility to open these 6800 up for me to view?

If you need to read the raw trace file, simply open the same in notepad or any editor.
The reason that your tkprof output does not show anything is due to the fact that there are no sql's in the trace file. Probably you are trying to analyze a kind of memory dump.

Name of trace file from trace enabled concurrent program

Hi all,
I am looking for a sql script or method to find the name of a trace file in udump for trace enabled concurrent programs. I know the trace files show 11i logon (user_name from fnd_user) in the name of the trace file but I am looking for a sql that would give the exact name of the raw trace file with request id as input.
I have 11.5.10.2.

Your post is without version information up to 4 digits.
You post tkprof output.
Not all version of Oracle have tkprof post wait event info.
IIRC. this started in Oracle 9iR2.
You would need to look in the raw trace file to find out whether this information is actually available. You will find it is.
This could likely being caused by using 8i, which doesn't have this facility.
But as you don't post a version, your question can not be answered.
