I thought Safari was causing my computer to freeze--but I've realized that after my computer is on for about 60 min it will freeze regardless of which program that is open. All programs have been running slower recently, and my only way to regain total function after it freezes is to manually restart with the power button.
As per previous recommendations I deleted the following folders only to find that the problem was greater than I had previously assessed:
~/Library/Caches/Safari
~/Library/Safari/Icons
I'm a total novice--any advice is GREATLY appreciated.

In addition to the model/cpu/memory information, how much data is on your hard drive? Do an apple-I on your hard drive, and what's it say for capacity and used?
Do you leave your system on 24x7? If not, there is some disk maintenance that may not be done. Grab OnyX from http://www.titanium.free.fr/ Run the maintenance and cleaning tabs. Also click on unix utilities, the plutil tab and click 'check', which will check if there are any preference problems.

I just updated my RAM (replaced the two 2 gig cards with two Corsair 8 gig cards) and I keep getting a crash report. I have a 21.5 Inch mid 2010 imac. I have tried a lot to find an app or some way in email to attach multiple of pdf files in one email. I could not find anything that sends multiple pdf file in one email and still keeping the file in simple pdf format for the recipient.
I am not aware of a way except for photos that allows you to select multiple files in an email. I even checked settings in the Adobe Reader app, and it does not show that ability.

I am trying to downloadapps onto the iPad we just purchased, and it keeps telling me that I need to authorize my computer. I go ahead and authorize by going into iTunes/store/authorize computer, I verify the information that is given. I go back and try to redownload the apps and I get the same exact message, this computer is not authorized for this device. What am I doing wrong?
I have been trying to work through this problem by myself and have so far downloaded the most current version of iTunes. Frome there when it tells me I have to authorize this computer, I had to not put in the iPad information, I had to authorize with my current iTunes information, and any iPad or iPod, iPhone information. I have several people in the family that have different accounts, so I had to authorize each and every individual account because I didnt know which apps or music was purchased under which user.
