Help, Help and HELP, i've got TC and its got a problem ( orange flashing light and it says hard drive repair needed or something like that)I have itunes & iPhoto stored on it so the other computers in the house can access these programs. My question is can I get these programs off, or at least my photos and music off and how?

when you open a finder window, your TC does not show up under shared like in this image ?
if not, choose preferences from the file menu and check if you have ticked the box next to +connected servers+

I saw cidya aap so i m not sure if it was jailbroken or not before but it is back to normal settings.
My problem started when I tried to sync my music files. I pressed 'sync' all it says is waiting for sync start, preparing to sync and then waiting for the changes to be applied. but it does not sync at all.
I found a way to sync my music files through autofill but I really wanted to sync ringtones but its not syncing and I really wanted to put ringtones in my phone please help.If you see the cidya app, your iPhone is hacked with the cutsie term for this being jailbroken. This also means all the built in security has been removed making the iPhone as insecure as an android device.
Restore the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup to get rid of that hacking garbage. If the iPhone has hacked to be unlocked, the iPhone will no longer be unlocked when doing so. -

Tap Settings App > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. See if fixed. If still problem, Restore iPhone with iTunes 10.7 on computer. See if fixed. If still problem and there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation and take iPhone to Apple for resolution.

hi, im tinkering with mpeg streamclip and its giving me problems because it won't open my ripped dvd files from my desktop. It keeps giving me the same message "no VOB files can be found". Can anyone help me, this doesn't make sense. I also found online that you need Apple Mpeg-2 playback component in order to use mpeg streamclip. Even though I have OS X Lion, should I download the add-on?
You need to convert the VOB files in the TS-Folder of the DVD back to DV which iMovie is designed to handle. For that you need mpegStreamclip:

Obviously the foregoing only applies to DVDs you have made yourself, or other home-made DVDs that have been given to you. It will NOT work on copy-protected commercial DVDs, which in any case would be illegal.

The current versions of MPEG Streamclip cannot take advantage of the built-in MPEG-2 functionality of Lion. For MPEG-2 files you still need to install the QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component, which is not preinstalled in Lion. You don't have to install QuickTime 7. -

If your device is not recognized by iTunes, I would recommend the steps in the article below. Start with the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > Update the Apple Mobile Device Driver.

I'd love to get to the bottom of this! First, let me clarify this for you. When you say that your device closes contacts, do you mean that when you are looking at one of your contacts, the device closes the page and takes you back to the home screen? Please elaborate for me and provide me with some additional data.

This is a common problem with iPhone 4s (and IOS 5) There isn't ' anything you can do about it, so you're best bet is to go down to the store and get an exchange. If you have an older iPhone (3gs/4) roll back your update from IOS 5 to IOS 4.

Bought a Mac off craigslist and its got a firmware lock PlEASE HELP!

If I hold down power and option it brings me to the lock screen with the empty text box. I am very uneducated with Macs. I would really appreciate it for some help. The EFI password is designed specifically to keep the Mac's information secure from unauthorized use. Apple's concern for its customers' information security is paramount. There are no back doors and the security it provides cannot be bypassed. There are dubious services advertising that capability though. I have no experience with them and I have no idea if they work. Started movie download and its got stuck, think its cos i did a firmware

ThanksI would let it finish if it's proceeding. Then if they still aren't there, try restoring from backup again (by right-clicking on the name of your phone on the left panel of iTunes and selecting Restore from Backup, then choosing your most recent backup to restore from). Suggest you go to iTunes preferences and on the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically". This will prevent iTunes from automatically syncing when you connect your phone and overwriting the backup you are trying to restore to.

Once a month you should charge your phone to 100% then drain it, then charge it back up to 100%.
Just leave the phone in and do what is said above.
How long do you think it will take to charge to 100%?
