Andriod phones help please
This is my 3rd Andriod phone. I'm looking for one with a good battery, different ring tones for contacts and be able to use a different ring tone for text message alerts.
Thanks for the information everyone. Yes, depending on what apps you download, how much you use internet, emails, phone calls and other features will depend on how long your battery will last.
Additionally, if your looking for an Android devices that can have different ringtones for calls and messaging, we have many different phones that will fit your needs. I have listed a few below to review:

It sounds like your iPhone is not showing in iTunes so it will not sync, but your iPad works fine. If you have already restarted your phone, (Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset, http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430), I recommend the troubleshooting from the following article named:

Check USB connections. iOS devices require USB 2.0 to function properly. If you're not sure your Mac has USB 2.0 ports, refer to the computer's specifications.
Disconnect other USB devices and connect your device directly to a USB port on your Mac.
Restart your Mac.

Welcome to the Apple community.
You can't link your Apple IDs, all you need to do is use the same ID on all devices and your contacts etc will sync. -
J2ME and phones - help please -
Hi, all. I haven't found much help related to this question, so I'm hoping you all might be able to help me.
I'm looking into developing for mobile phones. I haven't played with J2ME so much at the moment but I'm on my way. I've got my resources and by the end of this summer I hope to have jumped on that band wagon.
Here's the scenario: I want to be able to write programs on my PC via the wireless toolkit (I use netbeans). Then I'd like to be able to connect my mobile phone to my PC via USB or Serial cable and upload my programs direct from my PC to my mobile. I'd like to not have to verify the program through BREW or any other online service because AFAIK I have to pay for that. I'm a poor student who's just making enough money to buy a Java enabled cell-phone by the end of this summer.
Here's the question: What should I look for in a phone?
My first choice of phone was a Sony Ericsson, I'm assuming it's got direct PC-Mobile transfer enabled. Second was a Nokia. Unfortunately, no carriers around here, at least the ones I'd buy from, carry either of those two phones. I did find an LG 6070. But like I said before, I don't really know what I'm looking for. No-where does the documentation explicitely say anything about direct PC-to-Mobile transfers, and that is what is most important to me.

As for the target, it would mostly be just for myself at the moment. I am aware that if I were to target a mass market, there are multiple emulators out there I'd have to test my program with. And that I'd have to make minor changes, possibly, for phones with different specs, ala amount of memory a phone has or it's screen size/resolution.
You got me, I'm into the games thing, but aren't we all? I'm trying to acquire the book "J2ME Game Programming" this summer. So that answers what kind of applications I'm going to write.
I scoped out a few more phones today and surprisingly, the motorolas actually have some appeal to them.
That's the sweet part, anyone can write anything and deploy it! I'm assuming from your response that any Java enabled phone should allow PC-Mobile transfer. -

Would it work on the n91?I don't think so - N91 is 3rd edition S60 and none of the ones you mentioned are.

my phone doesn't want to turn off or on, it gives me the apple logo and doesn't turn on at all, help please??
Do a reset by holding the power and home button until the apple logo appears ignoring the slide to power off (no data loss).

I changed the name of my apple id and now I can't use the app store on my phone correctly because it's using my apple id's old name. I signed out and in on itunes and synced my iphone. Still doesn't work. Help please?
Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...sign back in with the ID you want to use.
Note: Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to originally obtain them. They cannot be updated using any other Apple ID other than the one they were originally obtained with. -
i just tried updating my iphone 4 and now my phone is in recovery mode and i dont want to loose anything on my fone someone help please!!!!!
If its stuck in recovery mode then you have to restore it. Hopefully you had a recent backup on Icloud or on your computer that you can apply after restoring it. If so then you shouldn't loose your data.
Just connect it to Itunes and restore it. After it will promt you when your done to restore from backup or as new. If its on icloud unplug the phone and go through the intro screen till you get the same prompt. Sign into icloud and restore backup. -
My IPhone 5, was backed up and restored. Music doesn't sync, when reconnecting device each time, it only offers restore or new phone rather than sync option. I have reinstalled ITunes but still this hasn't worked. Can anyone help please?
This problem started last year when ios 8 was released. I think apple is trying to force users to buy music on iTunes store and that's why it's impossible to sync other music and also that's the reason why they haven't solved this serious problem. That's really disappoints me and i'm angry with apple because i have like 10 gb of music in mp3 and i can't sync music from iTunes to my iPhone.

my iphone 3g is stuck on the connect to itunes mode and it wont show up on itunes. itunes hasnt even detected it on recovery mode. what do i do i really need my phone.. please help
Please stop altering the fonts, it makes reading postings extremely difficult. If help is desired, making postings difficult to read is not the way to get help.
Put the device in DFU mode (google it), then restore. -
When I connect my iPhone to my PC iTunes no longer automatically opens. And when I open it myself, my phone does not even appear under devices. Help please!!
Things to try:
Try resetting your phone (press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds until the Apple logo appears. When you see the Apple logo let go of both buttons and your iPhone will reboot.
Try a new sync cable (often the problem)
Make sure you phone is adequately charged
Make sure you are using latest version of iTunes -
My old laptop broke (idk what kind) and my iTunes was on there and now i got a new macbook pro. how do i get my itunes music and videos and etc. on this computer without removing them on my phone? please help!
If the old laptop was a mac also, then use your Time Machine backup to restore you user settings and files.

I just upgraded my operating sytem to 10.6.8, to accomadate my sons new ipod which worked fine , but on plugging in my iphone 4 , itunes doesn't rcognise my phone , just says no camera found, help please.
