Android 4.1 tablet not connecting to Aironet 1140
Hello community, I am having an issue with my Android Tablet running 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is able to the SSID, but when I try to connect - it stays connecting and then says saved, and never connects, as it does not pick up an IP address. I updated the firmware on the Aironet 1140 due to my Windows 8 pc's not connecting as well, it solved my Windows 8 problem, just not my Android Tablet problem. My Ipads do work. Just any android device I connect...
Anyone, ran into this issue that can assist?
Thanks in advance.
Hello William,
What is the security used on your wireless LAN?
Can you apply this command on your WLC CLI:
show wlan
and post us the output right here?

Amjad

Mac. Yosemite- Illustrator CS6 and CC both crash right after starting. Have Suitcase 6 (not 5). current Wacom drivers. Tablet not connected to Mac. Anyone else experiencing this?
Hi,
Scott Agnew,
Please check if there are any updates pending for Suitcase fusion and Illustrator.
You can also try resetting AI preferences.
User Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator [#] Settings
Rename Adobe Illustrator [#] Settings to old Adobe Illustrator [#] Settings
User Library/Preferences/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator/Version[#]
Rename Version[#] to old Version[#]
Access user library Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later
Do you get any crash report. Look if it says anything for Wacom or extensis?

Cannot get Windows 7 x64 laptop to connect to AIRONET 1140 WAP
I recently changed the configuration of my Aironet 1140 from WEP to WAP2-Enterprise to make it more secure. I am using the WAP as the radius server. After making the change I connected my Blackberry to the wap as well as a Samsung Chromebook. However when I tried to connect my HP laptop it is unable to connect. Watching from the Aironet's console I see that it is processing the association and windows ask me to enter my uid and password. When I do this I get an authentication error. I have tried several times adjusting parameters on windows but it always fails. Here is the configuration of the WAP:

Can not get my Sungale Tablet to connect to wifi.
You need to get your wireless settings first. Get the SSID (wireless network name) and security key (password) for your network. Are you using a Linksys router? Follow these instructions to retrieve your wireless network's info: Checking the Linksys router’s wireless settings. Then on your tablet, go to Wifi under Settings. Select your network and type in the password. If your tablet is an Android, here's how: Connecting your Android™ tablet to your wireless network.

X10 not connecting to mobile data networks after upgrade to Android 2.3
My X10 does not connect to GPRS / EDGE / 3G / HSDPA after the upgrade to 2.3. Wifi is no problem, though.
I used the SIM card in another X10 with Android 2.1, no problem, got an HSDPA connection. And yes, all the boxes are checked: "Data Enabled" and "Data Roaming";
I had problems before the upgrade to connect to data networks when roaming, but never in my home network. Now, it doesn't seem to work at all.
Any advice?go to settings -> sony ericsson -> data download
or
settings -> wireless & networks -> mobile networks -> access point names -> MENU -> add New -> enter the APN info -> MENU -> Save

New Galaxy 5s. Trying to connect to a guest wireless that routes browser to a login screen. The wireless will not connect (gives authentication error), so will not pull up browser window. My previous Android did not have this problem (it would connect and immediately reroute to the login screeen).
Would you please try manually set the DNS address on client NIC to the IP of your server, then try run the connector again?

Air for android - not connecting to lccs
I created an as3 swf that connects to lccs. It works well. I'm using the 10.1 swc. I used the same code in Air for Android cs5 file. It doesn't give any errors but it will not connect to the lccs server. I put an event listener on and it gives an error "INVALID_INSTANCE:invalid_instance". Now that would leave me to believe my roomURL is not correct but it surely is. And the room connects successfully when in an as3 swf.
Does the Air for Android cs5 strip out things or something? The error event listener worked on the android phone but it didn't connect. Anyone know why the android version wouldn't connect?Sample Code on how to use debug trace that Raff was mentioning
In your codes applicationComplete or creationComplete event, please add this line
DebugUtil.traceFunction = traceMessage;
DebugUtil.suppressDebugTraces = true;
and add this funtion
private function traceMessage(message:String):void {
TEXTAREA OR LOGGER .text += message + "\n";
Thanks

Xperia Z3 Compact with Android 5.0.2 will not connect to Smartwatch 3
I am trying to connect my smartwatch 3 swr50 via NFC or Bluetooth, with no success. I am performing a bluetooth search, but the watch is not being found.
After several attempts, I did a bluetooth search from another phone running Android 4, and the watch was instantly recognized.The problem you have is that it's either already paired and the settings have been removed but the watch still thinks it's paired so won't pair to another device - You need to perform a system reset of the watch and then on your phone open Settings then apps and swipe to All then locate and open Android wear and clear data and cache then once your watch has rebooted and is ready for connection open Android wear and follow the connection guide - Had the same issue myself

You can't via Bluetooth - it would take forever even if you could.

Android phone could pair but not connect to Ipad 2. any reason?
I'm trying to connect my Android phone 2.3.5 to new Ipad 2 with IOS 4.3.5 via Bluetooth. It does pair but does not connect.
Anybody knows why?
thanksThe iPad doesn't support file transfer over bluetooth. Are you able to copy the info over to your computer from the phone and then sync them to the iPad - the iPad supports contact syncing from (from the iPad manual):
You can sync contacts with applications such as Mac OS X Address Book, Yahoo! Address Book, and Google Contacts on a Mac, or with Yahoo! Address Book, Google Contacts, Windows Address Book (Microsoft Outlook Express), Windows Vista Contacts, or Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 on a PC. (On a Mac, you can sync contacts with multiple applications. On a PC, you can sync contacts with only one application at a time.)
or :
MobileMe or Microsoft Exchange account on iPad with Contacts enabled
So I think that you will need to get the contacts into one of those before you can sync them to the iPad (it's not something that I've done). -

Out of no where, will not connect wirelessly.
I just purchased a Windows 8 pc. However, I take such good care of my techie things I still have an old Toshiba laptop about 8 years old, maybe a little less that runs just great, it's just the technolgy was getting a little behind. It's the old style "tablet" that has the swivel screen and was considered "heavy" accord to our standards today.
The Toshiba Satellite (circa 2005) laptop is an XP with all the updates and service packs. I keep it lean and clean with Advanced System Care, have for months with no problem. It was always used to connect wirelessly.
About the middle of February I switced from Verizon slow DSL to Comcast because we have no other choice for a faster speed. No FIOS. But, I've come back a full 180 to Verizon. However I did get a new modem, the latest advances. It's a D-Link ADSL2+ (DSL2750B) Supposed to run 3 to 6 times faster than the old Verizon modem I had. When I first connected to the DSL I turned this laptop on, connected wirelessly and it was there great going! I was even hitting almost the top speed I am provisioned for wireless. The modem is only 2 feet away but still. I turned if off, turned my attention back to the new Windows 8 machine for a day couple of days
Then I wanted to go back and check the Toshiba XP and revel in it's great performance on this new modem .... drat!! It detects all local stations, even of course mine, but when I try to connect it tries but fails and jumps to a neighbors DSL. I can however connect with the Ethernet cord.
I've been using this Toshiba Tablet for months with a USB wireless adapter just fine that a friend gave me. In fact either the internal wireless adapter and the USB worked with not a problem but tests seemed to show his gift of the adapter was a little faster, so I use it exclusively.
So neither wireless adapter, internal or USB will connect to my modem. I even tried pressing the WPS button on the modem, the one that's lets someone near log on without a password.
So there it is. Can anyone have a clue why this worked at the first and now won't? Also, all other pc's, including a netbook with XP and a new small android tablet are connecting no problem. It's the Toshiba laptop alone that for some reason ...
out of no where, will not connect wirelessly. Is there an easy fix than uninstalling drivers? But why would both adapters get a corrupted driver at the same time? I hope there is help here. Thanks so much for reading this and consdering my situation. Jack ":-DSince the computer can connect with the neighbor's router, I don't think there is a problem with wireless connection on the computer. So it has to be some configuration or settings problem with the new modem. I would check the encryption of the new modem. If the computer can see the modem, but not connect, my thinking is that the encryption is blocking the connection. Temporarily disable the encryption on the new modem and see if that makes a difference. If it doesn't, you may want to check the advanced settings on the modem and compare the IP settings on the computers that work versus the one that doesn't.
