you dont need to use a mobile project (any AIR-based project will work). The mobile projects use optimised components (View etc) to reduce processor overhead but apps will still work with standard components (just more slowly). if you are writing games and dont need many ui components then you should be ok with a standard AIR project.
regarding getting up to speed with actionscript3, i suggest http://www.adobe.com/devnet.html. there are plenty of tutorials to get you started (lynda.com is good too, but you have to pay for it)

Also how do you request films/tv series to the UK itunes? There's tv series I'd like but they're incomplete like The Batman & Xena Warrior Princess. And films theta aren't available for download but you can purchase in a store like HMV? Apple isn't doing itself any favours by secluding countries by their store. They'd make billions if you could just select the iTunes Store you want to search & purchase from just by signing in! If anything what they're doing is putting themselves into a corner, other companies like Samsung & HTC are already on too of them for innovation & ease of use. The people they're attracting are predominantly existing Apple users not new customers. What do you guys think?

It's not Apple's choice, they can only sell a particular item where the content provider/rights-holder has granted them a license to sell them. Content is licensed by the rights-holders to Apple on a country-by-country basis, each country therefore has to have its own store, and you have to be in a country to use its store - they want control over where their content is available.
You can try requesting that an item be added to the UK store via this page, but unless the rights-holder agrees to then Apple won't be able to sell it here : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

How do I set up Mozilla to accept connections on port "The World Wide Web service (HTTP)"?

When attempting to embed a video in PowerPoint 2013, the message "Sorry we are having some temporary service issues" appears.
In researching the problem at Microsoft. com, the following message was received: Mozilla is not set up to accept connections on port "The World Wide Web service (HTTP)."

Hmm... PowerPoint should use Windows to connect to the internet and not Firefox.

Signing problems on new android developer console

Hi, I'm facing a problem while submitting apps created with AIR 3.7 to the google play. The apps are being self-signed as provided by AIR, using the certificate creation and packaging functionality provided by adt. However, when I try to upload them to google play I receive an error message about the lack of signing.
The strangest thing is that this only happens if I use the new developer console interface (the default one now). If I go back to the old interface, the upload process is completed and the app is published as it was on the past. Had anyone face this? Is this a known bug of AIR packaging or of the new google play publish interface?

Hi, Nimit, the problem persists even with the latest version of the SDK. It's a quite strange problem, indeed. The app I sent to Google play using the old interface - and accepted - became available and installs with no problems on Android devices - new installations or updates from previous versions. I contacted Google about it without success... Here is a screenshot of the problem on the new developer interface:
The application name is Managana (and also ManaganaR - the same problem for this one too). Here are the direct links for them on Google Play, both working since they were uploaded with the old developer console layout:

The certificate was created with the following command line on Windows:

Good Evening! A few days ago my IPad air was working perfectly as always. In the evening I went home and when I opened the cover to swith it on I realised it doesn't work. I tried to energize the battery but got no response. I tried to make a hard reset but also it didn't help. I connected it to my PC with ITunes but it didn't see my IPad. I went to IPort office of my city, they looked, and told they will send me a new one because I still have a guarantee (my device was about 6 months). I had used ICloud but It happened so that the backup is not full and I have lost many very important for me photos of my family. ITunes copy wasn't full also. If anybody knows any Apple service in any city of the world please give me advice where to go to recover data from memory of my device. I understand it's my fault, I didnt properly take care of backup copy and also understand that the answer on my quetion is close to 100 percent negative, and such a companies probably don't exist. But will be really grateful for any advice. Thank you!

First of all: Your iPhone "present" was most likely hacked/jailbroken. The update you did bricked it and it is now useless. Apple will not repair this.
Second: The warranty is usually only valid for the country it was purchased in. Check before you buy.
Third: You can set English as default language on the iPhone . iPhone supports a myriad of diffrent languages. If you buy it Poland it doesnt matter.

i hav downloaded bibeans.zip and oracle9.2 database with olap.i am using oracle jdeveloper 9.0.3.
im confused how to develop beans for oracle 8i data.should i import all the data to 9.2 data???
if so, how to create olap cube/objects for that??
im pretty much confused what should i do...and i want world map in my jsp pages as it has shown in the demos.
plz help in this regard what should i do from the starting??

If you want full access to all the BI Beans capabilities then you will need to migrate your database to Oracle 9.2 database. If you are just planning to use the Graph bean then you can use Oracle 8.1.7 data via an XML data source for the graph bean.
To create the OLAP objects use Oracle Warehouse Builder to create the dimension and cubes and generate all the required OLAP metadata. It is possible to use OEM also to do this but OEM is not designed to allow you to keep evolving your design. OEM is a management not database design tool, so consider using Warehosue Builder instead
To provide mapping features I would recommend you visit the MapViewer section of OTN. This is a powerful toolkit provided as part of Oracle iAS that allows developers to incorporate maps within a JSP environment. There is an excellent sample you can download from the MapViewer OTN pages.

DROID 3 - Souper Android Development app

Have been searching for a resolution to an issue that I found when browsing the updates for my apps. When browsing my apps i found an app i had not downloaded and am unable to uninstall it from my phone. The app is called Souper Android Development and i have not been able to find a way to remove it from my phone. Has any found a resolution to this issue.

Ann154: Doesn't work. This app randomly appeared in "My Apps" on my Droid 3 a day or two ago, without a title, icon, or uninstall button. Nothing matching it appears in Settings > Applications. I half-wonder if this is some glitch on Google's part, and there really isn't an unauthorized app sitting on my phone, just some bogus record associated with Google's app store.
Anyway, regardless of what this "app" actually is (or isn't), Google/Verizon needs to squash this pronto, because there's a lot of upset Droid 3 users out there worried that some unauthorized app has just deposited itself on their phone and could be doing who knows what.
And if this app has appeared on your phone, make sure to scroll to the bottom of the app's page and "Flag as Inappropriate", with "Harmful to phone or data" as the reason. If those reports pile up, Google will have to take notice.

For brief translation, the guy above just what to buy all the apps, and then shares his/her account to all the people in China. And whats moreover, Apple has allowed this kind of behavior to share one app among different deviced. So this disgusting behavior really badlly hurt those who choose to pay for those softwares, and turned out to be dishonest.

Android development in Flash CS5, help needed.

so I'm relatively knew to developing Flash applications that run on Android and have a lot of unanswered questions (Google has been searched!). Basically I'm building an MP3 player for my dissertation that will run on Android 2.2 using the extension for Flash.
The main question is, is it possible to load a song from the SD card into a flash application using a button in the flash document? if so,
is there anyone that can point me in the right direction as how to do this? any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
