well imo that is nick picking.. as i payed for the same ACR 7 functionality when i bought LR 4.
it´s just to annoy the customers enough to make them upgrade photoshop too.
you can twist and turn it .. in the end it is a great leverage for adobe to push people into buying a new photoshop version.
customer support is something different.. at least in my view.
imho ACR should come with LR. so no matter what PS version you have they will be compatible.
ACR is a plugin it should be possible from the technical viewpoint. i work with way more complicated plugins in 3D max and when i buy one i normaly get different builds that work for the latest 3-4 program versions.
but as jeff schewe wrote in another thread, for adobe it is a lot of work with zero benefit (income).
they make AE compatible with 3D max. but to get full support between adobe products.....
. But then you're really talking about new ACR functionality, which you don't want to pay for.

u can get a compatible nokia maps application from http://europe.nokia.com/explore-services/maps/download
load the maps in using the nokia maploader which u can also download from teh same website
pretty sure ur gonna have to purchase a voice navigation license for it tho

I keep reading that 2.2 is being rolled out....I still have not received my update......when is the update going to be complete...very frustrating!

A verizon employee and even on another verizon web site it said the updates are going to be until August 18th. Apparently it is being pushed further because some people are still getting the update. Today is the 19th

I dont want to "jail break" my i pod and I don't want to but the Iphone 4s , but I would PAY for the "siri" as an app.

not to nitpic your cominet, but you could totally use Siri, all the funtions including the functions that need to know where you are. When you are conected to Wifi, it does a fairly good job of knowing where you are based on this info, and I have tested this in several locations around town just jumping on the "free wifi" at the stores I frequent with google maps, but having GPS and 3g connections, like the ipad2, as an option would be sweet.

Hello, I willi like to know when are getting new n routers, the router that we have is very old is only a g router and speed and distance really sucks, I pay I lot of money for your services and the least you can do it's giving us a N router please Verizon I ll wait for your reply band new modem/router NN , thanks in advance. Verizon has n routers, but its not always easy to get one. The Rev. f and g are n and the newest rev. i is also n.
If you want the newest rev. i (gige) router you'll have to pay $99 for it unless you upgrade to the 150 mb or higher plan in which they will give you one for free.
You can call Verizon and say your router broke, have them send you a new one and hope you get an n router in return. Most likely you will since they are no longer taking back g routers from customers who discontinue service. You won't know what router you will get though until you get it.
You can check out ebay where there are always a ton of them for sale at lower prices then Verizon sells them at.
There is always the option of buying your own n router elsewhere and just using it along with your current one.

Safari crashes- crashed TWICE just coming in here. It happens ALL THE TIME
Sticky backspace. God forbid I type incorrectly. 4 times my iPod cleared the ENTIRE subject line because the backspace got stuck. It just sticks. You can't stop it no matter what. If it wants to keep deleting, it's going to until it's done. It is soooo frustrating.
Flash?!? Guys, this isn't the Internet. We can't use at least half of the net because of this issue. Developers don't always want to write new pages just for the iPod if the site isnt that popular, they don't take the time to rewrite their whole site just for one device.

If you are getting lots of crashes I would recommend resetting the iPod in the first instance to see if this clears up the issue. It's not normal.
Flash is an Adobe product which they will have to choose whether to write for iPod/iPhone but I understand that the high security required by Apple for applications precludes Flash.

It is fair to say that the 2.x software is the least reliable Apple software I've ever used but it's so much more robust than Windows Mobile and far less buggy than WinXP I endure for 8 hours a day at work.

The above comment tells you all you need to know, regarding what we (the Galaxy Note 3 people) must endure. ...lol. Jonathan, assuming you're a real person, it would have been better not to respond at all. But thank you, yes, I am excited about receiving updates that make certain functions of my phone run better. I also get excited when the heater turns on in my car, when it's cold outside.

2.2 - When are we getting a fix for the crap update? Can I get rid of 2.2?

Ever since my phone did the update..It's a piece of crap. It goes so slow. It freezes ALL of the time. I can't open my text messages several times a day. I don't receive phone calls sometimes, while it's doing it's freezing thing. It has me force close apps over and over again, many times a day.
I've taken the phone into Verizon and they did a "reset" but that did nothing...after about 15 mins of use it was doing all of the freezing and force closing again.
Everyone is having problems since the 2.2. I can't believe more people haven't signed up for this forum on purpose to complain or try and get answers like I did.
Does ANYONE have any answers?
Can I get rid of the 2.2 and go back to how my phone was before because it worked perfectly then.
Is there an update coming to fix this update?
Should I just get a new phone? Or a different phone all together?

Search the boards, everyone is NOT having issues, in fact most are not. That is why there are not a ton of messages. But they are there.I was one at one point. I personally, would do a factory reset. That was my cure all. Two if you have a task killer, delete it.
Other things to try before a reset is pull the battery out while the unit is on, wait a minute, reinsert and power up. (Basically a soft reset) Also dial and call *228 and choose option 1.
No you can not go back to 2.1, without voiding your warranty and 2.1 is not needed anyways.
If you are unsure on how to do a factory reset, (I suspect the store did a soft reset) leave a message here and someone will walk you through. IF you do teh factory reset and still have locking up issues, you will need to do a warranty exchange.

Now that Jelly Bean is officially released for GS3, when will VZW release it to its customers? I hope they don't take as long as it took for GB to be released on Fascinate. I would hate to get it from XDA before VZW

Well the international GS3 in UK, ASIA are getting the Jelly Bean update tomorrow as we speak. As far as the US goes, hopefully soon enough...

When are we getting FIOS?????

What is the big secret/mystery with FIOS? Why can't the people in the New Service Department give customers and idea of when FIOS will be available? Why is there not a map with neighborhoods listed and the projected installation schedule for neighborhoods. There needs to be information so that the customer can see if FIOS is on their block. Customers could pressure landlords to get FIOS installed in the buildings.
No one I have spoken to at Verizon seems to know anything about FIOS except to say, it's not available to you at this address, that's it......PRETTY LAME!!!

Back when i ws waiting for Time Warner Cable to install High Speed Internet in New York City, they had a Colored Map that show areas of New York City, & the Map Showed each section & what Year/Quarter service would be available. With Verizon, there seems to be no information at all. All I know is, The Projects on 105th Street have Fios, & here I am on the Upper West Side, Still dreaming about it. I dont know who to be more angry at. The Mayor for forcing Verizon to wire the Project First, or for Verizon not having any Rollout Information available. *Angry Face* At the SLOW rate they seem to be rolling it out, I wont have Fios until the year 2020, it at all.

Same here. I tried Link on 2 Macs, just installed the latest version today and I cannot make it do anything without quiting without doing anything.
I get the message "preparing to back-up" for a least ten minutes with no indication of any activity. the cancel button does not cancel anything, just turn grey?
Same for the wireless connection, I cannot cancel the wireless connection if I want to connect with the USB cable. I tried to turn off "wirells connection in the prefs, but it does not stay turned off. When I restart Link, the "wireless connection is still on trying to connect. bref.... the software is buggy as hell, it never realy worked..
as you say incredebly frustating...

The update depends on your country and network carrier(especially if you are buying it through a network carrier).
You could flash other country's update but the process is rather complicated.

Failed recordings - g4 box - when are we getting a...

Another weekend, and another failed recording. Getting quite annoyed by it now.
Moto gp p4 - success (wasnt going to watch, just part of the series link)
Fa cup - success
Moto gp qualifying - failed
I left my box on itv 2, to avoid any results being leaked when i switched on box.
Is it series link that is the problem? Think i will be doing individual recordings from now on to see if that fixes it.

3rd consecutive night that a Syfy Chan fails to record from Series Link on my week-old G4 box - a closer look as I was 'prepared' reveals:-
Internet Channel recording failed: this time I waited for it to get rolling after seeing the recording notification message - but nowt showing in the MyView Page... if you then view the 'live' broadcast it shows up as 'Recording' in the Guide, even tho not on the Recordings list on MyView ... if you chose to 'cancel this episode', it then finally shows as 'failed' in the MyView Page .. you can then record manually - so nowt wrong with my Infinty service...
No overlapping recordings involved ..... I do hope that British EuroSport WSBk recordings today will be fine - doesn’t seem to happen on Terrestrial Channels at all .... (only a Series Link anomaly for them - previously reported)
