Android orientation lock does not work within the ADPS App
Hi,
and another Android App Bug for today. The Android orientation lock feature does not work in Apps created with ADPS. If orientation lock is enabled and I turn the tablet, the orientation off the ADPS Apps will turn with the tablet.
My Test Tablet is an Acer IconiaTab A510 with Android 4.0.3

When you say that the orientation lock doesn't work, we have no way of knowing if that means that the screen is locked in one position only, or that it will not lock in one position only. So try something g very basi and reboot your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
In the camera app, you have to swipe up and down on the screen to move between photo, video and the square photo mode options, so are you even in the correct mode to take videos?

I was running KeyPassFox with Firefox 8.0.1, but the plugin does not work in the new release (9) . Is there a way to restore my previous version with all of my bookmarks intact? I do not mind if I have to restore the plugins myself.
The plugin shows on the list as enabled and functioning, yet the tool does not show on the toolbar. It would appear that I need to restore the previous version of Firefox and wait until a newer release of the plugin is available before upgrading the browser.I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Also (and I'm kind of fuzzy on this) Windows used to automatically save music files in a folder within my document files (which makes no sense to me). As my Jewish friends would say, "Oy Vey!" -

Have you checked to see if your PDF add-on is up to date? You should take a look at the [[Opening PDF files within Firefox]] Knowledge Base article. There is a lot of good information in there. You should try both of the suggested PDF add-ons to see if that fixes the issue.

Sharepoint2010: ArgumentException: Value does not fall within the expected range
I have a lookup column 'usertype' in one of my list, that is lookup for another list. and in my code when i try to access this column,
item["usertype"]
i get an error: ArgumentException: Value does not fall within the expected range.
I tried with Lookup Resource Throttling in Central Administration. But still i am not able to access this field. And this field is not programmatically created.
Any idea to solve this..

which is lookup to a list having two values "Internal" and "external"

I have a list that has more than 12 columns of type lookup with more than 5000 items and I am using a date field as an indexed column so I can restrict the results to meet the list view threshold. I am also using $select to restrict the columns to
meet the lookup column threshold.
If I run the query below it all works as expected:

The lookup column "Lookup1" is using Title as the column's information and this should be working. What is interesting is that changing the lookup threshold has no effect on this but raising the list item view limit does make it work. The
date range is selecting less than 5000 items. So what am I missing here? I just want the Title for the lookup column and my query has about 10 items in it.Looking through the logs the error is thrown due to the following error messages:

Okay, I did a 'reset all settings' in settings and problems fixed. Hope this can be useful for others.
Edit: it appears that when the assistive touch is on the autolock function won't work while in the home screen, but will work if opening a app. I hope Apple fixes this bug in the next update.

I have no sound for games in my iPad. I have tried the reset but it does not work. The speakers work as I have sound for music and videos.

Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430 It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. To solve some sound problems, just follow these simple steps

4. Tap on Reset All Settings
What this effectively does is to reset some of your Settings to factory default. It’s not a complete removal of settings. It removes all of your preferences for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Do No Disturb, Notifications, General, Sounds, Brightness & Wallpaper and Privacy. It doesn’t affect your data. All of your email accounts will remain intact, as well as any SMS text or iMessages.

SharePoint Receive Location: Value does not fall within the expected range
Hi,
I setup a wss receive location in BizTalk 2013 (CU2 applied) to get documents from a SharePoint 2013 infoPath Form Library, the documents were checked out but not processed by WSS adapter and BizTalk logs following error in event log
The host instance user has 'Full Control' permission on this form library
(the same configuration is working in another environment with different BizTalk and SP instances)
any help would be highly appreciated

if the issue still occurs.

Yes...and no. Lightroom can allow raw (and TIFF, PSD & JPEG) adjustments to an image all by itself without using Photoshop. But...you can take those adjusted images (adjusted using the ACR/LR processing pipeline) and then open those images into Photoshop for further image manipulation and retouching. So, it would be more accurate to describe Lightroom as a front end to Photoshop if the image adjustments can't be done completely in Lightroom. It's not an either or, it's a one then another sort of deal.

GetListItems() and "Value does not fall within the expected range"
I have a sharepoint list (it's a task list). I have the ID of the task - I can access the task like this :
http://addr/EditForm.aspx?ID=<value>
This works fine. I would like to create a query so when I call GetListItems() from a web service, I can select this record.
This is the code I'm using - when I set the ndQuery.innerxml to a blank string, it returns all records (correctly). When I enable it, I get the wonderfully useful "Value does not fall within the expected range" error. I have tried querying
a number of different fields (besides ID) and every single one gives me that error.

Per my understanding, there is an issue when calling GetListItems() from a web service.

If it is an issue of the invalid item id, for avoiding this error, a workaround is that you can run a request to retrieve all the existing ids in the target list,
then add a validation to ensure the “pTaskID” is valid.

Tap on the event to open the event. Click the 'Edit' button in the event bubble, then press the 'Delete Event' button at the bottom of the Edit pop-up. It's a little different for events that come through Microsoft Exchange, you tap the event to bring up bubble and click the 'Details' button, and then press 'Decline' to remove the event.

When I update my iPhone 4S to iOS six Facebook does not work properly the newsfeed doesn't load properly and I can never see what's going on all I see is a picture of an antenna and a little thing underneath it says no new stories when I reset my phone back to iOS 5 then it works just fine and I don't have any issues so there must be something wrong with iOS six that isn't letting Facebook load properly
No I did not use any unauthorized methods for anything, I simply reset my phone back to factory.

I have seral email accounts on my Mac. One does not work on the Mac but works on my iPad and iPhone. The account information was added on the Mac. I keeps rejecting my password.
You don't input the information in manually for iCloud mail. It is automatically set up for you when you sign into iCloud via System Preferences and choose the Mail checkbox. Sign out of iCloud or deselect Mail in iCloud preferences. Open Mail's preferences and choose accounts tab. If iCloud account still exists in the list, delete it. Sign back into iCloud or check the box for mail. The account will be auto created for you.
