Angry Birds increasingly slow on iPhone 3G

Angry Birds is getting increasingly slower as it's played on my wife's iPhone 3G. It was getting bad (on 3.1.3), then upgraded to 4.1, no better/not change at all really. It runs fine on a 2 gen iPod Touch, but it's only on the first stage.
Is there any cache or anything to clear? I can't find anything on the web or the Rovio site.

I'm playing the last few levels of Angry Birds and the game play has slowed down considerably. The entire interface is slow. Swiping between levels is slow, starting a level is slow, and usually the screen doesn't respond at all when I throw the first bird and then it stutters as the bird flies through the air.
Other problems I've had:
- the sounds doesn't always work. Sometimes it works and other times it turns off suddenly in the middle of a level
- sometimes a level will "crash" and the screen will go black, but the sound can still be heard and the pause button "(||)" at the top left is still visible
The game didn't have any of these problems when I first bought it, so I'm convinced it has to do with the amount of saved data in the game.

Apple doesn't have anything to do with this other than enforcing the DRM protection. The developers of this content expect to be paid if someone wants to use their content. When you purchase content in the app store, you purchase a license to use the content. This license does not permit you or anyone else to resell or give this content away. The individual you purchased the phone from simply does not have the right to sell or give away any purchased content on the phone. You were deceived.

You can just tap and hold any icon to put into Edit mode. There you can delete.
Or you can just tell iTunes not to sync it.
To remove from iTunes just click on it in list and press delete.

You can buy and install on all your IOS devices, and separately buy and install on all OSX devices, so 2 purchases.

Angry Birds slowing down sometimes

Sometimes when I played Angry Birds my N8 hanged or slowed. Has any1 else experience this?

I noticed it happened when Ovi Sync is syncing automatically. Not really a big deal since I have finished all levels. May be this can be improved in the future.

I already tried reformatting my phone.. Erased all content and settings.. And still the same..
BTW my phone runs on latest iOS 5.1

Restore as a New phone. Do not restore your backup. Add your apps back. If the problem still exists you have a hardware problem. If this fixes it you have a corrupt backup.
This assumes your phone is not jailbroken. If it is all bets are off.

TS1702 i downloaded all the paid angry birds apps on my ipad but when i tried to sync them to my iphone i couldnt find them in my purchased apps section so i tried downloading them again from the app store but it says that i have to pay again to download

Most, if not all, of the Angry Birds apps are not universal. The HD iPad versions won't sync to your phone, they are for iPad only. If you want the iPhone versions, you have to purchase them separately.

As long as the app is compatible with the iPad 2 - not all are - yes. Just sync your new iPad to iTunes, which should have all your apps if you've synched your iPhone, and select those apps to be synched.

Angry Birds sluggish on 3GS

Noticed that Angry Birds is quite sluggish on my 3GS and its quite annoying to play, affects playing really
I've got nothing else running in background and I've tried a hard reset and it's still the same
It ran better on my iPod 3G
Any suggestions?

There's nothing you can do except for buying a newer iDevice. Angry Birds also ran terribly on my old iPhone 3G. Although the 3GS has the same video chip as the iPhone 4, it has a much slower CPU and half the ram. Besides trying a full restore and setting up the phone as new there's nothing else that might be able to help. As newer apps come out and old ones updated you will notice that most will become noticeably sluggish on your phone. On my 3G everything from Facebook to the new York times became unbearable slow to the point where I just went out and bought a 4S.

why cant we get Angry birds seasons for mac. I've completed the original game and i'm bored, playing on my ipod or iphone isn't the same. What i want to know is if there some kind of reason or do they just want us to buy an iphone and play there? if thats so i think it's ridiculous.

Ask the developer of Angry Birds. How are we supposed to know why they do anything?

So wanna thank Nokia and Rovio for making this available ..was not a happy bunny last week when i saw it available on other formats.My N8 is a much happier place now : )
Its what the mobile gaming is all about, fantastic intuitive graphics, great sound effects...pure quality.

I have to say I will NOT be buying this add on due to the fact the original game that I paid £3 for was not the full version, and this add on is two weeks too late and more than twice the price it is selling for on the iphone. Also, according to some reviews you have yo have a permanent WiFi connection in order to play the game!! Why? Unless of course Rovio are harvesting stats and data from your phone. If that's the case, then that's another reason not to part with your money.
I'm still waiting for the rest of the content I'm owed for the original Angry Birds.
