Angry birds seasons now on N8 : )

So wanna thank Nokia and Rovio for making this available ..was not a happy bunny last week when i saw it available on other formats.My N8 is a much happier place now : )
Its what the mobile gaming is all about, fantastic intuitive graphics, great sound effects...pure quality.

I have to say I will NOT be buying this add on due to the fact the original game that I paid £3 for was not the full version, and this add on is two weeks too late and more than twice the price it is selling for on the iphone. Also, according to some reviews you have yo have a permanent WiFi connection in order to play the game!! Why? Unless of course Rovio are harvesting stats and data from your phone. If that's the case, then that's another reason not to part with your money.
I'm still waiting for the rest of the content I'm owed for the original Angry Birds.

Nokia N8 : Angry Birds & Angry Birds Seasons Crash...

I installed the new update for both angry birds and angry birds seasons......from then on, both the games just shows the angry birds logo page and then crashes.....it doesnt even go to the menu....
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling..but the same problem exists.....someone please help....

i deinstalled angry birds and downloaded it again from ovi store
now it works
even with kaspersky antivirus running/installed
don't think its a problem with kaspersky

Angry Birds Seasons update N8

When I tap the globe in AB Seasons, it goes to the website and tells me there is a new version available. Tapping the download button doesn't do anything, tapping it again closes down the webapplication. This is the second update I can't get any more since I changed to Belle, don't know if that is the cause of the problem though. Other AB games do update as normally. I could update seasons through the OVI store but in the past I've lost my games progress several times through OVI and I don't want to go through the hassle of retrieving that again.
Does anyone has a similar problem and, even better, a solution?

Try this link. DO NOT UNINSTALL YOUR EXISTING ANGRY BIRDS SEASONS. Download this update, unzip it and install in the same drive you have installed your angry birds seasons. Your progress will not be affected. Installation takes a bit longer. Be patient enjoy new year of the dragon & cherry blossoms episodes.

why cant we get Angry birds seasons for mac. I've completed the original game and i'm bored, playing on my ipod or iphone isn't the same. What i want to know is if there some kind of reason or do they just want us to buy an iphone and play there? if thats so i think it's ridiculous.

Ask the developer of Angry Birds. How are we supposed to know why they do anything?

Try closing the app completely and then see if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Angry Bird Seasons app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
A third option if neither work is to delete the app and then re-download it

Repeating your question in the post doesn't fully explain what the problem is. Are you saying that you installed the game and it is trying to install again?
Without knowing anymore than why you have posted ..... try rebooting the iPad and see if the installing resumes, the download disappears .....
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

Angry Bird Season for N8 (Hong Kong)

In Sept, there was an update for Angry Bird Season. Today (2/9/2011 HK Time), I tabbed the update icon of the game and it redirected me to a webpage and it said I've already got the latest version. However, I guarantee that it's the old version. What should I do?

I'm in the UK and my N8 doesn't have the MoonLake festival yet. Only the small "Rio" update, and I was only able to get that through the in game update icon.
A relative of mine has the MoonLake festival update on Android already. The Ovi store way seems to be always so late.

Angry Birds Seasons Perpetual Updating

I am running iTunes 12 on a Win 7 laptop. This past week an Angry Birds Seasons update was available so i loaded on my laptop and all my devices. Since then everytime I visit the App Store Update page either on my laptop or my iDevices, Angry Birds Seasons is there. The icons on the update page won't go away on any of the devices I view the App Store Update page. What is going on? How do I get rid of this perpetual update without screwing up my scores?

Angry Birds Seasons - what is it vs. normal Angry Birds?

What is the deal with Angry Birds Seasons? In the App store it indicates it is a St. Patricks Day themed Angry Birds. If I buy this app, will it automatically update to whatever upcoming holiday is in store? i.e. if Christmas is coming up, will it be Christmas themed? Or is this version ONLY for St. Patricks Day?

This one is only for St. Patricks Day, they had a Christmas Season them already.

Angry Birds Seasons Update Bug

After downloading the latest Angry Birds Seasons update over a month ago I experienced problems since the first time I played it. The cursor began to jump around as if it had a life of it's own, or as if it was being controlled by someone else. I was not able to control it with the tracpad, and if I tried it would jump between my desktop and launchpad and mission control. It was so bad I could sit it down and walk away and the cursor would still be moving wildly across the screen.
After doing some research and trouble shooting on my own with no results, I made an appointment with the Genius Bar. Yesterday I went to my appointment at the Apple store in Valencia, CA. After checking my settings, running some tests and following up on my research regarding Angry Birds Seasons, it was confirmed it is a bug (software glitch) with the latest update.
He told me that Apple would also be contacting Rovio to advise them of the need to create a patch for MacBook Pro users. Until then I'm suppose to use my computer with a partial screen as the bug does not affect the partial screen the same way it does a full scren.

I noticed the developers never want to do a **** thing, and always try to refer to iTS anyway.

Angry Birds Seasons update, paid, downloaded, now can't find it?

Noticed that the "flash' image for the above game was different in the store and sure enough I had 2,5,0 and the 2.5.1 update was on sale for €0.79.
thought it odd to pay for an update, but at that price? I went through the process.
I admit to not taking much note of the download but it quickly came up with the "downloaded" sign under the icon.
That's the way it stayed, no "Installed", it does not appear in "Downloads" or Recent purchases.
The game on my machine remains as 2.5.0.
Probably too soon to get a receipt by e-mail.
I expect that the App store and the Angry Birds people will each blame the other, but as I am not sure if the transaction has gone through, in the meantime, I would like to know if anyone else has had a similar experience/

Angry bird season not launching or in the menu or ...

Hi,
I purchased Angry bird Rio and season versions yesterday and played both.
After updating the Rio version to 1.4.4, the season version is missing from the menu.
I tried to launch using Nokia store client but it is not launching!!
Any Ideas?

It is not there in the list of homescreen shortcuts.
It is even not there in the installations list!
I have downloaded it again from Nokia store app, but launch button is not working or the game is there in the menu!
Played just after buying and installing but now I couldn't even after downloading again!
