Angry with itunes10. will no longer purchase songs from itunes.
I have bought so many songs off itunes
It won't let me burn any of them onto a cd since updating to itunes10
So i try putting it own windows media player.
it won't let me do that.
So then i try burning it on a cd
it won't let me do that either.
I've wasted about 10 cd's trying to burn some songs.
I'm just wondering do you guys (Apple) do this on purpose so
people waste money on you guys' songs?
So people can't ever go back to using any other devices
other than ipods/pads/phones/tunes?
I feel like there has been a lot of complaints about
this new version. how come it's not fixed yet?
OK, answering my own question..well, via Arleen 259 and Old Toad apparently courtesy of keysandfood! (Copy of Old Toad post below. Thanks to all...IT WORKED!
In iTunes go File -> Library -> Organise Library -> Reorganise Library.
Then quit and restart iPhoto.
Credit to user keysandfood who figured that one out.

Having a lot of problems with iPhoto since upgrading to Mavericks. Wondering if there's not enough memory in my version (I was unable to update iMovie because my system is incompatible with the new version.) i recently got a new ipod and not yet synced it with my computer, yet i bought music on itunes off of the ipod. my ipod has recently been disabled and needs to be restored. Will i lose all my music and apps if i restore it? How do i not lose them if at all possible?

I purchased songs from iTunes Radio on my iPhone, but now the only place they will show up is in the iTunes Store app on my phone, even after syncing to my computer a million times, the songs do not show up in my library or anywhere else. My phone is not syncing properly, I wanted to add another playlist to it that I created on my Mac. I pluged in my phone and made sure the playlist I wanted to add was checked to be on my phone when I synced.
The playlist I wanted to add was "Country." It is clearly checked. I also wanted to add the "Recently Added" playlist, which I also checked before sycing. Currently, my phone only has the "Purchased" playlist and my "All Songs" playlist on it. When I hit sync, iTunes added another playlist automatically added another playlist to the list above and checked it. It was titled "ALL SONGS 1" and had ten fewer songs in it than the playlist I had created, "ALL SONGS" had. This playlist, however does not show up on my phone after syncing, nor does "Country" or "Recently Added." (Every time I sync, another playlist is created as "ALL SONGS 2, 3, 4, etc.") One of the songs (I have not, yet checked the other songs) that I purchased from within iTunes Radio shows up in the "ALL SONGS 1" on this screen:
But does not show up anywhere else. This playlist does not show up anywhere but the two screens above. The ALL SONGS 1 or 2 playlists do not show up here:
When I search for those song in my library, it shows that I do not have them:
But if I go to the iTunes store, I get the play button and not the price of the song:

"Summertime Sadness," one of the songs I bought from iTunes Radio, does not show up in the iTunes store under purchased "All" or "Not on This iPhone"
But, it does show up under "Recent Purchases"
Also, this is what playlists are on my phone after syncing a million times:

If you're syncing with a different iTunes library than the one you previously synced with, then there is no way around it. You're gonna loose the old data. The only way round it would be to make sure that all the music files on your iPhone is also in your iTunes library. If you still have access to the computer with the old library, you could copy the files on to an external harddrive, and then import them into your new iTunes library.
If it is in fact the same library, then the music currently on your iphone, is also in your itunes library. Just make sure that the artists/albums/playlists, or whatever you sync contains these tracks, that you allready have on your phone and don't want deleted. What i do is, i create a playlist specifically for my iPhone, and i set it up to only sync with this playlist. Whenever i hear a track from my iTunes library or buy a new track that i want on my phone, i just drag it to this playlist and next time i synchronize, it's there without deleting anything else. -
All my purchased song from iTunes are not playing complete (iPod and computer with Windows Vista), unexpectedly stops and continues with next song. What am I doing wrong?

If you have an iPod Touch running iOS 4.3.3 or later, you can download the songs in the purchased tab of iTunes on the iPod.

In itunes...preferences you can change the setting to import songs instead of mp4 to mp3. Afer changing this setting, right click to the songs and than you are able to convert to mp3. ths's it -
Ipod will not update new songs from itunes
My ipod will not update new songs from itunes. I've purchased several songs from the music store, updated my playlists and as added some from my CD collection and they are not transfering from my library to my ipod.
I've tried numerous configurations under the preferences - ipod menue but still can't get them to transfer.
One error I occasionally get is "ipod cannot be updated because there is not enough free space to hold all of the songs in the itunes music library"
There is plenty of room on my ipod so I can't figure out why. It almost seems as if it is trying to copy all of my songs not just the new ones because all songs in my librbary are checked.Thank you for responding.

Trying purchase songs from itunes store but nothiing is happening after I click on the "buy" button. I have credit available ($21.59). Do I need to refresh or update somehow? Not sure what's going on never happened before when purchasing from itunes.

Every time I purchase songs from iTunes I lose my playlist
When I purchase songs from iTunes I get the new songs but all my previous songs disappear. This is getting frustrating and makes me not buy songs.
Who have you tried to contact (these are user-to-user forums) ? You should be able to copy iTunes purchases from your iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. The 'cannot be copied' error implies to me that the 'pointer' to the song is on your computer's iTunes but the actual music file doesn't exist anymore - can you play that track on your computer ? If not then do you have a copy of it in anywhere ? If it's an iTunes purchase and it's on your iPad then you should be able to delete the 'pointer' from your computer's iTunes and File > Transfer Purchases should copy it back ; if it's a non-iTunes purchase that's on your iPad then you will need to find a third-party computer program that can copy it back.

If you are now in the US then you can only use the US store, so you should update the address on your account

Had you copied the songs over to your computer's iTunes library, do they show in the Music section on it ? You can copy purchases that you still have on your iPad over to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option -
