Animated Trim Paths cannot render out - bug or else???

Hello everyone!
I have encounted a huge problem with the exporting (rendering out) all contents of the Composition in After Effects CC.
My workflow outline:
1) Created a Composition of 1920x1080 size.
2) Created a Solid Layer of 3840x2160 size.
4) Animated Scale and Position of the Solid Layer over duration of the Composition.
3) Created a Shape layer containing the Shape 1 using the Pen Tool. The Shape 1 is just an unclosed path from point A to point B
with the Stroke of 20 px width and no Fill applied.
4) Made my Solid Layer as the Parent of the Shape Layer.
5) Added a Trim Paths to my Shape 1 in the Shape Layer (containing Stroke 1) and animated End over the Composition duration.
I have also animated the Stroke Width from 20 to 30 px.
The Composition is playing back perfectly in Composition window inside After Effects CC:
Animated Line is going from point A to B while the Solid Layer changing position and scale all right!
6) Rendered the Composition out (using Render Que as well as Media Encorder CC) into a movie file.
When I play the resulting file I cannot see my animated Shape 1 Stroke (Trim Paths) in the Exported (Rendered out) Movie file:
no Animated Line is present while the Solid Layer changing position and scale...
However I can see the Solid Layer animation (Scale and Position) in the Movie file.
Why the animation can be seen in the Composition playback inside the AE CC but I cannot export it?
What am I doing wrong?

Just the recent update to my post:
1) I have just opened this project in Mac OSX environment (Lion 10.7.5) and found the same issue:
the animated path is missing in the rendered .MOV uncompressed while clearly visible and playable in
the Composition window of After Effects....
2) I have just also created an absolutely new project and a composition from scratch following my own workflow from
my the very first post and it the newly created project is working all right with the animated path showing in the rendered file as it is showing in
the Composition window...
But the problem still remains with the first weird project:
what is so wrong with the project and composition to screw up the After Effects proper functioning?
I would also highly appreciate if someone from Adobe team can have a look at my mistical project...

Frame Animation duration is different when I render out.

Hi, everyone. I am using Photoshop CS6 to make Frame animation. I created 57 frame with each duration 0.08 second was set.
However when I render out, the video seem much quicker than I preview in PS (H.264 1080p 29.97).
Then I check the duration of the video, it's only 3.24second long, by doing the math (57 * 0.08s) it should be 4.56s long.
I've check all my fps setting, I've tried render out 24fps , 29.97 fps or 30 fps, all go for the result of shorten length.
Can anyone help out ? thankyou.

But then again, 1s divided by 29.97 is not 0.08s, is it not? If you want to obsess about math, then by all means do it right. You have a fundamental misunderstanding here and are not working to spec.

How do I render out in Animation codec from Motion 5 ?

Hi - Just got Motion 5 and I noticed that to render out there don't seem to be as many codec options for Quicktime as in previous versions of Motion. Am I missing something here? For eg there doesn't seem to be any way to render out in Animation codec.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Cannot render resource resourceWrapper

running 5.4. we patched our publishing instance to the latest crx 2.2.73 and security updates and now we're getting this error:

this is caused by a form used only to redirect to another page...
i have it as a edit resource(s) action type with a text field that the element name is :redirect and value is './edit'
which is the way it's done in the geometrixx site
still works on our authoring instance (which is up-to date with patching) but our publishing is getting this...
if someone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated

The bug is logged. As a temporary workaround overlay & add an empty /apps/foundation/components/form/defaults/action/cleanup.jsp to the form action.

Adobe Media Encoder can´t render out AE Ray-Trace Composition

Hey,
AME can´t render out my composition (or sequence if i include the comp in a PP sequence) which includes some 3D stuff.
I am able to render it out in AE in a few minutes, preview it easily in AE and even in PP but i´m not able to render it out in AME or PP.
AME says it would take like 10+ Hours to render it and doesn´t come to an end.
I tried multiple encoding settings but nothing worked.
Also i checked, that cuda rendering is enabled in all my Adobe programs, but nothing helped...

It raises another question: what settings do I need to encode the comp in 720p resolution without taking up lots of space?
Well, it depends on whether you need a production master (something for broadcast, for example, or to use as a source for other encoding tasks) or if you want a version for distribution. If it's the former, there's nothing wrong with "lots of space" - A Quicktime file with PNG or Animation codec is a good idea, but it will take a lot of space. If it's the latter, H264 is perfect but there's no built-in preset to take 720 material to the web.
You could do this:
* Pick the generic H264 template. You'll see that it will give an error if you attempt to render, because the default setting uses an H264 profile/level which doesn't let you use HD resolutions.
* In the H264 video options, set the "Profile" menu to "Main" and "Level" to 4.0. That will keep it compatible to Quicktime and Flash player, while allowing larger frame sizes and higher bit rates.
* Set Target Bitrate to 5-8 Mbps and Maximum Bitrate to 9-10 Mbps if you're targetting web delivery. That's a bit over what Apple uses for 720p content on the Apple TV, for example.
The H264 original preset will instruct you in the comment field to stretch to 640x480 in Output Module. There's no need, since you are using a profile/level combination which allows higher frame sizes.

1. As you said you are in coexistence step , so for now all endpoint already point to Exchange 2010 right?
2. Check legacy owa redirect that you already configure
3. In Exchange 2010 , Make sure that you already configure "Autodiscoverinternaluri" by this command set-clientaccessserver -identity "servername" -autodiscoverinternaluri

4. in Exchange 2010 , Make sure that you already configure "EWS" path by this command set-webservicesvertualdirectory -identity "XXX\Default web site name" -internalurl

I have followed directions to transfer my vault to a new HD. It is grayed out, despite doing all requisite steps beforehand. If I get 'info' on Aperture the lock icon shows and I cannot change it to unlock.

I think you may be getting confused by the 'Lock'.
The vault is locked in the files system to prevent accidental deletion.
The reason the 'Update Vault Path' is greyed out is because it is still detecting the original vault on your system.
Here's a simpler process.
Restart your system (Aperture may still have a reference to the vault and this will clear it).
Make sure you have copied the vault to the new location.
Move the vault to trash. It will warn you the file is locked. Continue to move it anyway.
Empty your system trash. It will warn you the trash has locked files. Continue to empty anyway.
Now the old vault is gone from your system, in Aperture, the vault will show as disconnected and you can update the vault path:
You can then Navigate to the new location:
And the vault will reconnect and show the available storage of the new drive:
I suspect you are following advice about trying to remove the lock. But this is not necessary, the lock means you'll simply get warnings when deleting (assuming you have permissions to delete), but you can jsut override these warnings. If at any stage you get an error saying the file is in use, just reboot and retry that stage.

I want to render out a QuickTime animation so I can layer it over some video in Final Cut Pro. How do I get an Alpha channel in the video. Have tried the Animation Codec but that doesn't do it. Which codec should I use?

Air 3.2/3.3 with iOS 5.1.1 & 6.0 SDK Beta on iOS 6 Beta cannot render anything at all

I've just tried to run an air app on iOS 6 but all the vistual elements doesn't render properly, e.g. the tab view cannot render tab icons/tab bar, the action bar cannot render anything at all plus all other components...
Please let me know if you have any idea about that.

Firstly the GPU issue has been fixed but the autoOrients property is still not working with the latest "AIR SDK 3.3.0.3690 SDK + iOS 6 Beta 2 SDK" on an iPhone 4S with iOS 6 Beta.
I cannot use this combination below, except I take out the second line:

Forms 6i error FRM-41351 Cannot navigate out of current form

Does anybody know why this error occurs?
I have an ordinary Forms 6i module, running in 2-tier (client-server) mode. When I try to do an EXIT_FORM, I get an error:
"FRM-41351: Cannot navigate out of current form"
My form is called from a top-level form, but plenty of other forms are also called in exactly the same way from the top-level form, and none of them causes this error, and I can see no other reason why this form should produce this error.
The Forms 6i help entry for this error is meaningless, and I can find no information about it on the web or on the Oracle TechNet, so any advice would be very welcome!

You may be hitting Bug:1632441, which is fixed in patchset 12. If either form has a When-Window-Deactivated trigger, try disabling that and see if you still have the problem. If not, then as a workaround you may be able to put that logic in a when-form-navigate trigger instead. Or you can programmatically trap the error in an On-Error trigger if you are actually able to navigate out of the form. See the bug for more details.

FRM-41351 Cannot Navigate Out of Current Form

I have an Action Item to call another form. Sometimes (not always) when exit out of called form the above error occurs.
I have added the above message to qms_messages setting to suppress but the message still appears.
I am using call method of CALL_FORM with display of HIDE as QMS$AI_CALL_FORM doesn't appear to take any note of the display of HIDE.
Any help would be appreciated.

It is indeed a bug.
We have the same problem, but we have added a line to the QMS$INIT_APPLICATION procedure in the application library to suppress the message. And that works fine.
Add the following to the procedure:
-- Suppress error FRM-41351 Cannot navigate out of current form (Forms bug 871936)
qms$forms_errors.add_suppress_message('FRM-41351');

"Hardware Cannot Render" Message!! ProRes footage.

Hi all,
I have a brand new G5 2 x 2.26 Quad; 12Gb Ram, and 2 graphics cards (ATI Radeo HD 4870 & NVIDIA GeForce GT120) And have just recently changed from capturing/editing HDV, to ProRes.
When editing HDV I was able to process some effects no problem, but now I am getting this Render Error message - The canvas goes completely red and message says "...The Effect "***" failed to render: Your Hardware cannot render at the requested size and depth!!"
I've tried a google search on this problem, and came across someone saying to change the 'Video Processing' tab to have "Render in 8-bit YUV" option. I did have it set to "render 10-bit YUV material in High Precision YUV" Gave that a go, and it didn't work. Have also come across someone saying that having 2 graphics card might be causing the trouble, and to take one out - but don't want to do that unless it's really necessary.
Can anyone help me clairfy what the problem is and if I can sort it?

I don't mean to question you guys as you are undoubtedly far superior in knowledge to how this works - but I find this really hard to believe, after all, this G5 tower is only 1 month old, and I've got the only 2 graphics cards that mac currently sell on the site :
ATI Radeon HD 4870
NVIDIA GeForce GT 120
If anything, I would have thought that it could process my footage NO PROBLEM!
I hope I don't sound too cheeky in my response - as I say - I bow to your superior knowledge.
The filter in motion worked Tom, although I had to render the clip and it gone a bit sluggish (That may be to do with setting up as HDV in Motion and dragging into a Prores timeline?)

Render out in Shake

Hi,
I'm currently checking out my new copy of shake and attempting to get my head around a very new way of working! Just running through the tutorials and have run into something which is confusing me...any help would be great!
Basically, I'm using the render out node as per the tutorial but cannot seem to render anything other than a series of single frame files, whether they be quicktime format or not. I may be doing something wrong or not understanding the output module correctly but I was under the impression that rendered files would work in a similar way as they do from AE, producing a quicktime file which you can then view or incorporate into your other apps, not just provide a series of files that are re-openable by Shake.
Any help would be appreciated!!

when trying to render i get the error "your hardware cannot render at the requested size and depth" and does not render,, it is the first time, and happens only when i added a filter from magic bullet and won't render.

Do you have 2 graphics cards in your system?
You can check out your hardware profile using the "System Profiler" app which lives in the /Applications/Utilities folder ... you can also launch it from the Apple menu by choosing "About This Mac..." and then clicking the "More Info..." button. When the app launches you can choose Graphics/Displays from the Contents/Hardware list at left.
