Animation and Audio not in time

Hello all,
I am a new user of Adobe Captivate 5 and creating my first E-Learning tool with the programm.
In the working mode I combined all animations from PowerPoint to the voice-over adio-files and it is working great. But when publishing my project all animations are delayed and they are not anymore combined with the voice-over.
If I change the time for the animation in PowerPoint excatly at the point where the adio starts ist is still not correct. So the time PowerPoint and the published version ist not the same.
I am publishing the project in Flashplayer 10 in HTML.
Thank you for your help!

  • Flash CS3 Animation and Audio not timed properly when packaged.

I am trying to create a simulation with audio, mouse movement, mouse clicks and screen changes. When I play the movie in Flash, the animation and the audio are timed properly. However, when I package it, the animation falls behind the audio. I am using wavs for the audio - I've tried mp3s also.
I have a screen displayed with a mouse. The audio and a highlight indicate the next step, then the mouse moves and clicks the desired area - with a audio mouse click. The first "click" sound is pretty close to where it is supposed to be, but as the movie plays, it begins to occur earlier and earlier. So much so, that the audio starts to begin prior to animation is complete later in the move. This is not a real long demonstration, only about 1100 frames, but I notice the problem around frame 180.
    Any suggestions?

IE stinks. There's a huge performance difference when playing
    SWFs in
Firefox and IE. We have seen SWFs reach 100fps in FF 3.0
    while the same SWF
taps out at around 40fps in the latest IE browser. It's not
    Flash, it is the
    browser.

  • Buddies icon animation and audio not received.

I know very little about IM. Only use it to contact a couple of friends. One has an animated icon with audio, I only see the stationary version and no sound. Also, my friend does not see my iChat icon at all. Friend has an AIM account via AOL paid subscription. Any comments would be apprecitated. Thanks.

    Hi MFen
I would ask what Instant Messaging application everyone is using ?
iChat will show the Animated Buddy icons from other applications such as AIM on a PC.
(It can be made to show it's own animated icons from another ichat user with a Add-On)
If you mean the Video and Audio green icons where some of them appeared "Stacked" that can be down to the capabilities of the Buddy.
If no camera but has Mic and can A/V chat then it is a Audio (telephone) icon.
Camera and ability to A/Vchat is a Video cam.
iChat uses that have ichat 3 and can join a multichat have the stacked icons.
A PC using AIM will only show single icons as they can not join multichats.
    Hope this helps.

  • Animation and Audio not working

I'm having trouble making my Presenter presentations act like the original PPT.  PowerPoint presentation has audio and animation that work fine in the slideshow mode.  If I publish it in Presenter, no audio comes over automatically. I tried the Import from Presentation option which brought the audio in but when I publish, the animation that had been synched with the audio in PPT is gone.  What am I doing wrong?

  • Quick Time 7.67 video and audio not playing in CourseCompass MyMathLab

When I first used MyMathLab through Course Compass, the video and audio played with the digital picture broken up. Since then it stopped running the video and audio. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Quick Time more than once without any change. Now when it is trying to load,I just get white screen with Q logo and an arrow running across the bottom of its window.

I forgot to mention I use Firefox. I just updated to Firefox 3.6.9 today. The quick Time problem already existed before I update Firefox. Is there a problem with Quick Time being compatible with Firefox?

  • Recording Video and Audio at Same time with simultaneous sync

I want to record a keyboard performance into garageband and at the same time record the playing of that performance with my video camera. Then I want to create a movie using the music from garageband and the video from the camera. I was thinking that if I can sync the video and audio when I'm recording the session, then that part is taken care of. Or, maybe this is easier than I think it is?
Is there a way to do this so that I can use the garageband record performance and have it synced to the video on the camera?
I don't want to use the audio from the video camera because the performance that is captured in Garageband will be much better and I can do editing of the individual notes in GB.
In the end, I just want to make a movie and/or podcast of the performance.
I'm a newbie regarding this, but I did search the forums and couldn't find anything specific. Mostly it was about importing video into GB3 and then syncing new audio. I'll basically have audio and video from the same performance in two separate locations and I want to bring them together perfectly in Garageband.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
    Powerbook G4 - DVI   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Okay. I got the video and audio all together. I told you I'd link to it when it was up.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxssYpUNJm8
There's also a copy of it at http://www.myspace.com/bonjimmy/
And as a quick side comment, even though I uploaded the same video to both YouTube and MySpace, the MySpace version is much better. YouTube must do something to the video after it's uploaded.
What I learned doing this project:
I recorded the video first (which gave me the sequencing of the piano performance) and then I dubbed the audio in later. However, there wasn't a good way to sync the video and the prerecorded piano, so there are some spots where the dubbed audio vocal isn't accurate to the video. I'm not sure what the pros do for this. I was hoping I'd remember how I sang for the video but when a couple weeks go by before re-doing the audio, it's about impossible. I tried, though.
I remember working with an old 4-track and smpte to a sequencer a long time ago. With the way it is now, it's pretty cool that you can record digitally and mix and match and everything falls together perfectly as long as you have a place to match the video and the audio. It's pretty cool.
    What else???
Does anyone have suggestions that would have made it better? Also, if you have suggestions on my performance or whatever, I'd love comments, but you can do that on the linked page.
Thanks again for all your help. (The point of the video is because I'm thinking about getting back out there and doing some more playing... I'm looking for a band or something else interesting...)

  • Video and audio not synchrone with apple tv after update mountian lion on macbook pro

i have a problem with my apple tv. after i bought and instaled mountain lion on my mac book pro i have trouble with apple tv and my laptop. when my laptop conects with apple tv most of the time my wifi doesnt work on my macbook but on my apple tv it stil does work. when it does work and i play a movie of my own by using itunes the first second the video and audio is synchrone but after that audio is at normal speed but the video gets behind. and i am getting sick of it. does sumbody reconize the problem and can help me with this problem?????

Same issue here- I can airplay my amazon prime library just fine from my iphone 5 but on my macbook- (mavericks, 15 inch 2013 retina with quad core i7, nvidia 650 M and SSD) it just sputters and lags.
I have noticed web video is considerably worse than local content, giving me pauses of up to 2 or 3 seconds in which video stops but audio continues in the amazon player. Youku video, however, seems relatively stable. Our subscription speed is 25 mbps, so that should be plenty to stream SD video from Amazon and doesn't account for why it would be nice and stable from the iphone, but not the mbp.
Playing light, locally hosted steam sidescrollers  like Limbo is better but gives periodic drops in framerate on the Tv. when mirroring the framerate remains steady on the MBP screen.
Games airplayed from my iphone seem relatively stable, though with a noticably lower framerate on the TV than on the phone.
It seems these issues have abated considerably since yesterday's Apple TV update, but are still curious nonetheless and I'm not sure that the update yesterday was specifically meant to address those issues or if I'm just getting a time with less network interference now.
Comcast recently installed a new router/modem/phone combo, replacing our old separate modem and router setup. I'm going to test if putting the network on a different channel helps.

  • Video and audio not in sync

Anybody else experiencing video & audio not in sync since upgrading to Lion? I have a MacBook Pro 15-inch, Early 2011 with
AMD Radeon HD 6490M 256 MB graphics. I mostly stream You Tube, Netflix, & news videos and occasionally watch movies I have in iTunes or on DVD, and since upgrading, I've seen out of sync video and audio in every one of these situations. Sometimes it starts out OK and then slowly deteriorates. Other times it just starts out that way and stays that way. Happens with all browsers as well as iTunes and DVD Player. Tried a few Google searches but haven't come across any postings reporting this with Lion, so I thought I would try here. Thanks for any confirmations and/or pointers to a solution if there is one.

Ahh...boom. I have it too. Forgot it was even there. I had it turned off back when running Snow Leopard since it was glitchy. Apparenty, I somehow reenabled it and wasn't even aware it was on since its volume was turned down. After disabling it, all video & audio appears to be in sync.
boom...the sound you'll hear as I nuke it from my system.
Thanks efrancis76 for figuring this out. Much appreciated!

  • Video and Audio not in sync after capture

    Hi there,
This is probably a common problem, I have trawled the site but can't seem to find and explanation for it.
I'm capturing vide/audio into final cut pro from my SONY DVR. The video i have streaming into the sony DVR is from a small covert video device which records video/audio onto an SD card. SO I'm running that into the DVR and then DVR is outputting that as DV PAL firewire (uncontrollable device).
I'm capturing the 40 minutes of video as one clip, and when i drag it into the timeline the audio and video are WAY out of sync. Is there a simple reason for why this is happening?
It's almost as if not capturing it right.
    I hope someone can help,
    Thanks in advance.
    Jamie McIntyre

It is interesting that you are having this problem. I recently purchased a brand new Mac Pro (a week ago) and I am using Premiere Pro and it is doing the exact same thing. I mean this video and audio is REALLy out of sync. I tried capturing an hour at a time, and 30 minutes at a time. Still, no luck. I was debating on getting Final Cut, but after reading this post I am rethinking not only Final Cut, but using Apple all together. Part of me thinks that it is not a Premiere or Final Cut problem but a Mac OS problem. But hey, what do I know. I only edit for a living.

  • Movie and audio not synchronized in the swf file.

    Hello,
I have a main movie that call and display movies from the
library. In each of those library's movies i have an animation on a
layer and a sound (about 15 secondes) on another layer which i want
synchronize. When i check each movie on my .fla devlopment file,
everything works perfectly. But when i publish my main movie , in
all the movies what are called, there is no synchronization anymore
between the animation and the sound. So I made some research on
this site and i found this technote:
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?event=view&id=KC.tn_14108&extid=tn_14 108&dialogID=528053&iterationID=2&sessionID=9630a094121c7e6164d3&stateID=0+0+526969&mode=s imple
so i made those changes as this technote said:
"If a longer sound file must be used, consider using the
"stream" synch method, available in the Sound Panel of the Frame
Properties dialog box. This will force Flash to drop frames (if
necessary) in order to keep up with the audio."
But when i do that , yes the synchronization is back, but my
sound is not anymore the same. it looks like the "stream" option
produce a very bad sound. it is not anymore clear like it was. the
sound is not the same during those 15 secondes. I was using sound
as .wav 44kHz Stereo 16 bits included in the library.
Do someone got an idea how i could be able to produce good
sounds even when i am using this "stream" option...
    Thank's for you help!
    Alexis.

    Hi,
I resolved my problem by using sounds convert to .mp3 high
quality , instead of .wav and keeped using the "stream" synch
method, available in the Sound Panel of the Frame Properties dialog
box. This will force Flash to drop frames (if necessary) in order
to keep up with the audio.
    Bye.

  • HT4859 PDF files and audio notes

My computer due to a virus needed to be reformatted.  Which forced me to have to reset up ITunes on my computer.   I have many very important files on my audio notes app but not see anyway around not lossing them.  I backed them up to iCloud but I guess that was a waist of time.  How can I save them with the audio.  They are too large to email and if I sync they will be deleted. The same is for PDF files I have in IBooks.  I know I can Email them and have to save them but there has to be an easier way to get and save your data on the IPad.

Yes this is possible. For reading PDF files and Ebooks you need to have 3rd party apps. Which are available in the APP WORLD.
For reading audio file your can use podcast apps from BlackBerry. Just give a search in the App World.

  • Advice for flash animation and audio

Just wondered if anyone could give me advice on the
    following:
I have a music score in flash with an animated bar to show
the position in the score during playback. The audio track is
included with the flash file before I import it into Director.
Is this the best method to run audio and flash together or
does running the flash movie and audio track seperately have any
    advantages.
    regards
    Andy

    Hi Andy,
That behavior will let you set a Flash sprite's member to be
    paused or
not. I don't know that this has anything to do with what you
    want to do.
You can't directly change the volume of a flash .swf from
    Director. You
can use sprite(X).stopAllSounds() to stop the sound in a
    Flash .swf in
Director, but there's no start available. A Flash .swf has a
    sound
property, but that will only toggle the sound of an .swf off
    and on, and
only applies after the sound has finished. The change will be
    used at
the next play of the .swf.
You can use the soundLevel property of Director to control
    the volume of
the whole Director movie. If you have no other sounds playing
    when the
.swf is running, you can use this property to control volume.
    It's
pretty coarse, it only allows for 7 levels of volume change.

  • Video and Audio not synced on .mov file in final cut, but perfect in QT!

I recently just captured a miniDV tape onto final cut. I captured it in 23.98fps. After I captured it and opened it up in final cut's sequence, the video and audio was not synced at all. it's way off and even when i try to move the audio around on the timeline and get one voice synced up, about a minute into the video it's off again.
i tried opening the video in quick time under the captured scratch folder, and when it plays in quick time, it's perfect. there is no sync problem at all. only when i open it in final cut is there a problem.
does anyone know how to fix this or what is going wrong?!
    HELP ME

well i mean we recorded it in 24PA, which is what we've been doing for this project of ours. And when we go to capture in final cut we choose the Advanced Pull Down setting. So in the end, our video is in 23.98 fps.
I just thought I'd mention that just to give more details. idk if it's helpful or not

  • Video and audio not linking

    Hello all:
I'm using FC 4.5 and for some reason the video and audio has decided to no longer link together... even though they are captured as merged files. The Stereo Pair and Link command under the Modify tab seem to have no effect (even though the clips indicate that they are - a line runs through them). Only recently started to occur. Real pain the in the buttocks. Any ideas out there?

  • Video and audio not in sync. Other answers here do not help.

My audio and video are not in sync in many streams but some are OK.
I do not have any extensions, add-ons and I am using the default theme. I have disabled hardware acceleration. I am now running in Safe Mode and the problem persists.
The video and audio sync for the first few minutes and then they work their way futhter and further apart, usually several seconds out of sync. I don't think this particular situation has been covered in the other posts.

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
