Animation exacerbates my migraines, please develop update

I love the new interface design. Although, the colors are quite feminine. When I showed my husband, he said "it looks like a teenage girls' design". He's right!
What I DON'T love, along with a lot of other people (so it seems), is the zoom in and out animation.
I get very bad migraines. When I have a mild migraine, the animation exacerbates it. In addition, I get, mild to severe, nausea and/or vomiting with these migraines and the animation is literally, making me sick. . The IPhone doesn't bother me nearly as much. I'm guessing it's because the movement isn't as large with the phone. However, there have been days I couldn't use my IPad and during those times, I wish I could have uninstalled the update and gone back to IOS 6.
My mother is 81 and she has vertigo. I immediately called her, after I updated, and told her NOT to update. Within 2 days, she told me she read a story in the newspaper about IOS 7 making people sick and was so grateful I told her not to do it. I wasn't sure if the story was about the wallpaper or the interface animation. I was surprised to see so many hits on Google referring to the "nausea" stories.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...REWRITE THE CODE AND TAKE OUT THE ANIMATION AND SEND AN ELECTIVE UPDATE.

FYI: The " reduce motion" in <accessibility<settings IS JUST for reducing the motion in the dynamic wallpaper, should you choose it vs the still wallpaper. I should know, that was the first thing I tried immediately after updating my IPad 2 to IOS 7 and found it did nothing. There are confusing stories out there regarding turning on the reduce motion and what it is for.

I'm experiencing the same. Received my 5s on Friday. Nauseous with migraines on Saturday, Sunday and now Monday. The reduce motion option does what it says but is not preventing my motion sickness. The navigation animations are making me sick. Would really like to enjoy this phone and the ios 7. Apple pls provide and option for those of us that suffer from motion sickness.
I've submitted feedback at the link above as well. Hope they can update soon.

Hi Mikey_1985, I happend to notice that when I upgraded (by mistake) from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 my internal storage got quite full,so when I had to reset my phone see here why, the internal storege after the reset had lots more space.Maybe I would help. As well, when I visited countries with sub/tropical climate my phone when taking pictures/record 4K videos got wery hot,leaving it on cold floor tiles or anything cold helped to over come this and after few minutes the phone had normal temperature. Someone over here recomended leaving both flaps open to get some air circulation, but I have not troied it yet.Hope it helps.

Please Wait Updating Library

It took 8+ hours to sync my iPad, we have lots of photos. On my iPhone the photos are 14.49G and on iPad 14.39G. When I try to view the photos on my iPad I get a screen which says "Please Wait Updating Library" and after a few minutes it just goes back to the home screen.
I have 800M free on the 32G model. I just removed lots of TV shows so now have 4.84G free on iPad, but still same behavior. Also when I just synced it, the iPad crashed and I had to do a hard reset to recover (Holding home and power button to reboot)

I found an interesting thing about the iPad "Crashing" to the Apple Logo with an off-centered rotating bar - it is, in fact, not crashed. If you keep the iPad connected to the computer, you can click "Sync" or "Apply" and recover the iPad without doing the 5 minute long hard reset. I am still looking at Events as the troublemaker, but I can't seem to pinpoint what is happening. It doesn't seem to be an "Event Limit" as I was able to sync 407 events fine, 417 then a crash, then 407 events again with a crash.
I can sync the last 12 months of events just fine, and a handful of others that I selected.
As far as this all goes, I think it's something deep within the code that we won't be able to fix with workarounds. I've sent a bug report to Apple, and the ball seems to now be in their court.

Photo browser stuck (please wait, updating library - forever)

I have iPad 1 64 GB Wifi for few days, I have just few photos there and suddenly, when I open photo browser, there is only "please wait, updating library " message" forever. I tried to remove all the photos via itunes - no improvement. I added - the same. What happened ? How to make it working again ? Thank you

Thank you , in the end resetting photo application helped. As a new iPad user, I did not know that after double pressing home button, you get the list of active applications and you can switch them off ... now I know ..

Please develop rendering support for traditional mongolian script.

A major barrier for me to move from Window to Mac is that Mac doesn't have rendering support for my own language: traditional Mongolian, whereas Microsoft does it pretty well. For example, for this major news website in traditional Mongolian: http://www.mgyxw.net/, IE is able to show everything but Mac cannot. Please develop this support as soon as possible (and also the keyboard input support as Microsoft did).

Could you post a screen shot? It looks to me like the text of this site is not in standard unicode, but in some sort of private use area encoding. If that is the case, you can be sure Apple will never support display of this page. Have you installed some special custom font to see it?

PS CS5 + 3D + animation = crashing!! Please help!

I am trying to animate some 3D objects and my Photoshop CS5 crashes all the time after trying to run the little movie.
Otherwise PS works fine, on other tasks.
My PS-version is 12.0.1
I am running this on a new (spring 2010) MacBook Pro 15" 2,53 GHz i5, 4 GB RAM, with NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M (256 MB VRAM).
I an on 10.6.4 and have run all available Apple updates.
I have tested for broken fonts - found none.
I tried to disable OpenGL - but that didn't help, it crashed in another way though.
I tried to run in 32 bit mode - but the same crash as usual happened.
Photoshop is set up to use 70% of available RAM (ca 2306 MB) (I think this is the default?). History and Cache settings are default. OpenGL is set to Basic.
The efficiency numbers are mostly on 100% (but I have observed the number go lower, to 80 or for a very brief moment (before another crash) I think it went to 20%).
The file is not huge, 768 x 1366 pixels, I have 6 layers, 5 are animated, and 2 of those are 3D-layers (text transformed to 3D-postcards). I am animating position and then camera position (and style), not very much or fancy stuff. File is 6,6 MB.
I try to render to screen, if that's the correct phrasing. Just having PS run the movie on my screen via the Animation panel.
When ca 4 - 5 seconds have been rendered (the whole is set to 6 secs) the screen shows a grey plate covering the movie (partly or fully) and then the System Activity monitor shows most memory is gone, then Photoshop uses 0% of processor and then it crashes with no message on the screen, just crash.
I have tried the same procedure on a freshly booted system with no other applications running but Photoshop and Activity monitor. Same crash.
I tried to run the movie when logged in as an admin (my usual logon is not admin) but the same crash occured.
I have tried to run the file on PS CS4 on a PC (fairly new HP, but not very fast) and the file animated without crashing but so sloooow I could have grown a beard (and I am a girl...). So I guess the file isn't broken...?
What am I doing wrong? Is 4 GB RAM to little for this?
My video card is not listed among the tested here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/831/cpsid_83117.html. But it's a brand new MacBook Pro, one would think it should work fine...
Any advise on this crash type (with the grey plate) would be very appreciated.
Or other advise on how I can fix my setup to work for this task.

New info:
I took the file home and run the animation on my MacPro, and it run fine. Slow first but then at normal pace and PS4 did not crash, so it's obviously not an error inside the file. (The MacPro is of the first version (2006?) with 10.5.x (8?), 8 GB RAM and PS CS4. It run several other programs at the same time so there was not much RAM left over for PS, maybe a little bit more than 1 GB.)
Please please, any advice would make me happy!!
Specially if someone can say that they use Animation/3D in PS CS5 on 4 GB RAM and it works fine.
I also phoned Adobe support in my country but as I didn't have my serial with me at the time they couldn't open a case for me. But we spoke for a while, unfortunately without solving my problem. So I am hoping for you, guys/gals!!

I have updated thru' Preview for Developers long back and not facing any issues on my NL 920 and NL1020.
You can revert back to WP8 using the Nokia Software Recovery Tool.

I am really struggling to update my iPad to iOS 5 or higher. I don't know what version I have it's the original iPad. I have looked at the instructions to install iOS 5 and it says go to settings then to general and then software update. Easy BUT I don't have the option of software update ... If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

Fireworks CS4 animated gif - ghosting - Help Please!

I have creadted a skyscrapper ad using Frieworks with a gradient on the background. When it is played on a PC (I use a Mac), there is ghosting of the text. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? It looks fine on my Mac. When I save as an animated gif, I select dither to make the gradient look smoother. Help! Please!

Animated gif backgrounds with gradient would definitely look ghosted or distorted because of the way GIF images are generated. Take a look at the solution suggested in this tutorial http://www.smartwebby.com/free_tutorials/website-design-how-to/GIFs-optimization.asp - I think using the Exact setting might make your Animated GIF with gradients smoother.

It's not a bad install of Mountain Lion. I've had the same thing happen to me, but it affected not only Mail, but a variety of other programs including iPhoto and MS Office, where I had to delete preferences, caches, and reinstall the OS as well as the program itself. I'm still having issues with Mail, so I've gone to another program.
Everything was fine upon the initial install. I restarted my iMac about two weeks after the install, and that's when the issues began to happen. I've reinstalled Mountain Lion twice, but the same issues arise.
As I mentioned above, you'll need to figure out which preferences are causing the issue, then reinstall the program, as a fresh reinstallation will do you no good unless you wipe the drive completely.

Animating an object issue, please help!

I am very new to Motion and everything I have learned I have learned online so please be patient! lol
Anyway, I am animating an object for a stop motion project. The issue I am having is coming when I need the object to remain stationary for a few frames and then all of a sudden jump to a new position.
Instead of jumping to where I place it, it seems to animate it frome the first frame where it was remaing still and sliding to the position I need it to jump to over the duration of the frames where it remains still. How can I prevent this?

The animation you are seeing between the frames is the interpolation, Motion calculating the changes between keyframes. To do what you want, you need to change the method of interpolation between keyframes.
What it sounds like you want is "Constant" interpolation.
Take a look at this section of the Motion manual (you may want to review the whole secion on keyframing in the manual: http://help.apple.com/motion/mac/5.0/en/motion/usermanual/#chapter=12%26section= 12
In the keyframe editor, select the keyframe that you want to hold. Right-click over the keyframe and go to the Interpolation options in the contextual menu. Select "Constant". This will hold the value until the next keyframe.

Photo synching reads 'Please wait, updating library'?

Hi, synching OK with all other features of iTunes however my photo library just has the message: 'updating library, please wait'. It never stops & so I need help please.
Running Windows Vista & no issues with my iPod Touch.

It keeps on showing message: "Something happened and Windows 8.1 couldn't be installed. Please try again. Error code: 0x80070003"
I have tried "Troubleshooting windows update" but still fail.
