Animation vid is loosing quality...urgent help!

I am trying to put together an animation with a separate music clip. When I put the video clip into final cut-it looks fine on the viewer(just by clicking on it in the playlist, viewing on left preview monitor) but when I add it to the sequence below-it looks grainy and looses the high quality(viewing on right). I was going to use dvd studio pro but It wont open!!(agh!)..a program that acts the same(where you have to add video and audio seperately and burn to dvd) would work fine...
I have also played with the video settings changing it from NTSC to hdv to uncompressed 12 bit...it all looks the same. even after rendering. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I initially saved the video in final cut as an animation. (opposed to h264,ntsc,etc.) so it has quite a large file size. it is nearly 2 GBs for only 2 minutes, but again; i don't want to change the size. What I did is used a canon 5d to do a stop motion animation. So the quality is quite high.

You say you don't want to change the size (I'm guessing pixel size) but yet you want to play it on a DVD which can only show 720x480 (640x480 in square pixels)
You say you built this from D5 files. The D5 can create up to 4368x2912 images. FCP can deal with this size but you can't make a DVD that will show that size.
If you want to build your sequence at your images native resolution, open Sequence > Settings, I'd start with Apple Photo-JPEG codec, you specify the Frame Size, Square Pixel Aspect Ratio, Field Dominance; None, under the QuickTime Video settings click the Advanced button and slide Quality to Best.
This will create a sequence at your native size, it should look very good on the Canvas but I'm unaware of any way of viewing this in it's native size except as a QuickTime on a computer.
Now if you want to play it on a DVD, I'd probably use a Easy Setup for DV50 (better color space but no problem with 486 vs. 480 lines when compressing for DVD). If possible downsize your images to 720x540 in Photoshop, if not let FCP downsize and you may have to put a slight Gaussian blur filter on everything to keep in from vibrating.

the i linked it with dynamik link to after, make some color correction, etc etc etc
i renderd in quicktime animation
my video looks fine in my computer, but when i send my .mov video to encore (cs6) in a HD MENU and standard menú, the image sucks.
i have done the transcoding in encore, but i doesnt work either. i dont know what else to do.

The work path is a vector object, and infinitely scalable, but when you stroke it, Photoshop lays pixels on a layer that follow the path. These pixels are raster based and can not be scaled without loosing quality. You do have options. If you want to make the raster layer bigger, transform the work path and stroke it again. Or work at a higher resolution in the first place.
Incidentally, you can't stroke a Path with the Pen, because it is a Vector based tool, and stroking is a raster based function.

Need urgent help with CS4 button-to-animation functionality

Problem: I´m making a site who presenting about 11
«puppets» for a ventriloquist. They are placed across a
stage, and will pop up and glow when the mouse goes over. when you
mouse-click on the puppets, it should trigger a animation who blows
up and move the puppet, and slide some text in from the left. The
mouse over function is working, but I don´t get the animations
to function as it should. Any help would be appreciated. You can

action-script is in the top layer, and except stop commands, most
of the coding is in frame 2. Update: I have attached the code I

You'll be more likely to get some help if you attach the code
that is giving you problems. Aside from the high probability of
there being little desire to download a 36 MB file, having to sort
thru it to figure out what code applies to what works against
anyone wanting to try to help you with this--though you may get
lucky.

Pre-comps loose Quality when putting them in parent Comps

Hi there!
I got quite a problem with my AE project and I really don't know what to do. I already Looked up the forum but didn´t find any useful help till now.
The Problem I got is that I am working on quite a big project and need to fit precomps into parent comps (most of the times through varios layers)
This time when I fit a precomp in it´s parent comp it looses quite a lot of quality. If I do this again (putting the hole thing in a new parent comp) it even looses more quality!
I checked all my compositions and all are set to full quality at 1920/1080. I am using raytraced 3D and fast draft for quick render, but when I RAM preview render my projekt with full quality it still shows big deficits and pixelation.

The problems I got aren´t because of a specific Layer. The problem appears when putting one composition into another parent composition. The precomp I put inside the parent comp looses quality. The settings of both compositions are exactly the same and no draft mode ist selected. I am not zooming around or anything either. There are just 2 3D Objects on a 2D layer (and some other 2D stuff) Here I put now complete screeneshots:
The pic. above is my precomp. Quality and everything is fine and it looks like it should. Cool. Now when I take this composition and just put it into another composition with exactly the same settings, it should look exatly the same way (no zoom or anything , just drag and drop into another comp):
As you can see the quality is a lot worse then it should be (the sphere the iPhone etc.). I didnt change a layer or set a keyframe or zoom or anything and the parent comp has the same settings as the precomp. So it should show exactly the same. But for some reason it doesnt.
Now what I found out is that in the advanced comp settings I can put "preserve comp quality when nesting" so I do that. If I put now the composition into it´s parent comp then this happens:
Ok first things first: Quality is fine, so the most important problem is solved.
But what happens doesn´t really make sense for me. Despite the fact that both comps got exactly the same quality/framerate/pixel settings, when I put the precomp into the parent comp it is shown as if the precomp would be 4 times bigger (if I take now the parent comp also with "preserve quality when nested" into another comp the same happens).
It also messes around with a weird anchorpoint position and the comp "margins" are shown only in the upper left size of the layer (as if the layer would be much smaller then it really is). I dont know why this happens, but at least I can transform my (precomp-)layer normally and fit it into the composition, so that´s fine for me.
It´s more work when animating, but at least the quality stays the same.
Maybe someone knows a better solution?

Loosing quality

I have a character recorded in blue screen (with a DV camera) and I was trying to key it in Premiere CS3, but as I was not happy with the results I exported a QuickTime movie (Animation codec) to key it in After Effects. The keying result was perfect, but I noticed that the image of my character in the rendered movie was loosing quality; this face was somewhat out of focus compared to the original imported source.
I cannot figure out why this happened, because the imported Animation movie is perfect.
Can anyone help me?

That is the correct behavior. AE ever only displays the dominat field associated with a frame. if you need to see the full res, temporarily turn off field interpretation. For masking work this would be advisable, anyways, but in this case you would also have to double the comp framerate, e.g. 50 fps for PAL's normal 25fps, then for rendering, nest that in a comp withg the final frame rate.

[URGENT HELP NEEDED] Premiere Pro CS6 failed rendering

Hello!
I`ll try to make this quick because I need help asap. I`ve been starting to make YouTube gaming videos 3 weeks ago and my channel is growing up pretty fast. I promised I would make a video everyday but it`s been a full week since I couldn`t upload because I was busy and when I tried to render it failed.
Anyway here`s how it goes.I`ve recorded with fraps some gameplay footage with the resolution of 1360x706. One of my friends reccommanded me Adobe Premiere Pro for editing so I`m using the trial version of CS6. I create a new project and choose a format of 720 25 (cant really remember the exact name). I then import my recorded files and when I place them in the sequence it tells me the resolution is different and asks me if I want to change the sequence settings according to the files. Usually, I ignore it and when I export the Media I just tick the option: "Scale to Fill" and that usually works just fine, quality HD on YT...
But this week it has driven me crazy, I really don`t want to explain how much stress and dissapointment this has caused to me because I think I`ll end up raging...I`ll just tell you I`ve been trying for a couple of days more than 7 time to render the project(each time it takes about an hour and a bit more, so let`s just call it 7 hours wasted). The problem actually is that when I check the output file after exporting the media, the file size is ONLY 24 bytes!!! Other times the file size gets to like half of the one that should be or less, but mainly the render even so takes up a normal length of time of processing but in the end the file is only 24 bytes..Thing is I don`t encounter any error whatsoever...
I really need some urgent help!

Urgent help needed to get this home page up!

I need urgent help with this and it is driving me crazy. For
some reason my animation starts at its fastest and won't stop until
you click the area then it works properly. I have no clue why it is
doing this and only seems to do it on a PC browser not on a Mac.

Urgent Help Required - Video Not playing on IE11 and Firefox

I need Urgent Help , I am trying to Play this Presentation on IE 11 and Firefox and it doesn't play the Video part which is FLV and f4v formats.

Some urgent help needed with MobileMe suddenly saying my password is wrong

First of all I want to say sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I needed some urgent help and I couldn't find a forum other than this that might relate to this issue.
The issue that I am having is with my MobileMe Account. I was on my Mac, when when my MobileMe Account suddenly dropped its connection and told me that I had entered the wrong username or password (I know I hadn't) I tried to re-enter them but every time I try I just get a message that says I have entered the wrong username or password. I no longer have access to my Mail, I can not sing-in to MobileMe to access my online account and it wont let me change the password because it keeps saying that safari can not open the page.
I can not sign-in to my MobileMe folders on my Mac and it wont sync. I was signed in perfectly fine before this happened so I know its nothing to-do with my password or user name.
I am now locked out of MobileMe and need some help as to what might have went wrong
Can someone please give me some quick help as this is really worrying me as I am afraid my MobileMe account might of been hacked (that is the kind of behaviour that I am seeing - saying that my username and password are wrong, when they are not, and not letting me sign in to change them)

it seems my panic was for nothing. I just ran apple 24 hour support and they put it right for me it cost me but I'd rather be safe and pay then loose all the information I have on MobileMe. This has taught me a lesson anyway, I need to keep a backup of everything and not just rely on time machine

Urgent Help! Flash Links not working on PC but fine on Mac??

I need urgent help as my client is expecting a fully working site this week and i can't seem to understand what the problem is with the site i created www.tuarard.ie. The links such as the link 'download current programme' which is on the splash page works fine on mac but not on pc. there are other various links throughout the the site as well which don't work on pc.
Could someone please help me fix this problem. i am guessing the flash in fine but that the html is causing the problems. i am a beginner in the world of html so i know very little about it.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is hindsight, and likely more of an opinion-based answer, but except for the original dynamic "opening" of the flash homepage there wasn't anything I saw on the pages other than the scrolling photos at the top that required flash to accomplish. Flash is cool (I use it frequently for sections of a page - banner animations, etc.), but I've found it's often more trouble than it's worth unless every section of you site will feature something amazing or compelling to use it...
It's not search engine friendly (unless all of your text is linked externally, and even then limited), the correct player needs to be loaded on the viewer's machine to view, and it opens (generally) much slower than a standard html page...
Having said that - I think the site looks great - and fits the feel of the content, (and worked fine on the mac and windows browsers I tried here...)

Urgent Help! Errors in source system(RSM 340)

Need urgent help. Issue in production.
I added fields to the COPA datasource, by changing the operating concern. I recreated the datasource with the same name replicated into BW & ran delta again. The whole procedure worked fine in Dev & Quality but in production it gives me the below error. I thought its a delta issue so I deleted the data & try reload but still same issue. Below is the error. I checked the connection with R3. its an ok. All other loads work fine. Before deleting delta, it gives below error & when you rerun, it finishes with zero records. I also tried activating update, transfer & ods & cube in BW. I also asked functional guy to check operating concern & its active. kindly help

i think you get the error message as follows. file is in the client workstation as like.

I tried to search in the forum before I sent this request and I did not find my answer.
I am using Production suite CS4, Windows 7. I am trying to figure out whatr is the best export setups (codec) to send to the post captioned place who works with Final cut pro. It is a 45 min documentayy shot on hxp170 that will be broadcasted on APTN channel (standard and HD). I shot 720p 24 fps (native) My files are 1.33 pixel ratio.
I want the best quality possible regardless of the size of the file.
Can Avid DNxHD codec work? (I googled and did not find a proper answer)
Also a problem: I tried to export an MXF version and an uncompressed AVI. I used Sapphire plug ins (cartoon, film scratch, glow etc) and with some export setup, it make some clips slide up or left of the screen!!! Anyone had that before?
Also: should I export 24 fps or 23.976?

In reference to your first question, it might be worth asking them what they WANT. They may have a preferred pre-broadcast format, and if you can supply that, it may save your material from being transcoded (again).

Graphics loosing quality when rendering

I´m importing some graphics rendered in AFX to Premiere CS3, and when I run in Premiere they are OK, but after I edit them in the sequence and render, they loose quality. For example, I have some text (orange color) over black background. When I render them in the sequence, the text looses quality, the text definition and the color degrade and it seems that there are two colors in the text. And some weird things are happening with fields too. When I import some footage rendered lower field first in AFX, they run smooth in the source monitor, but when I edit them in a sequence and render, the field order seems to be wrong.
I cannot figure out what´s happening.

In AFX I rendered using QuickTime animation codec
In Premiere CS3 I´m working with NTSC DV
Like I said, chances are your AE export is higher quality than your Premiere project, hence when rendered, the quality goes down. The Quicktime Animation codec is comparable to Uncompressed. When you compress it to DV by rendering, quality can suffer.
