    Hi All,
The BPEL process CurrencyExchangeListEbizJMSProducer is a Oracle standard process (PIPs) , but still we are getting the error.
The below error in red I took from server log file.
We are getting an error in Production environment while a BPEL process producing (enqueue) a message to a JMS queue by using JMS adapter. (partener link)
We are using Orcacle 10G SOA suite with OC4J server and AIA 10G.
Please note that we are not getting this error every time,  few BPEL instances are getting this error, around 4 out of 10 instances.

I tried "minimumDelayBetweenMessages">1000</property> in the apps adapter while consume the message from Business Event Q (BPEL_Q_TAB).
But it didn’t work, there was no delay happened while picking the messages.
Please let me know if there is any fix for this issue, otherwise pls let me know is there any way to throttle the apps adapter.

    Hi Lonneke
    Thanks for responding....
You are correct in seeing that the two services are different in name.
However they are identical in function.
I created the service POSyncComp in my earlier version of JDev and deployed it to my local OC4J.
Which is launched by a PeopleSoft call using PeopleCode.
I have now rewritten this service in my new JDev and called it POSyncCompInt and deployed to home in an SOA suite implementation.
So whilst I test and before I roll the original service call out, I have both.
I have duplicated the PeopleCode and tweaked the message call, so that for testing purposes, and before I drop the current working version I have both calls in my PeopleCode event.
The original POSyncComp call still works, but the call to the 'new replacement' does not.
Hence the log shows both calls.... with slightly different names.
The strange thing is that the PeopleSoft LOG shows very similar code in the Request Message, but the response from the new call shows the HTML Form that I get if I run the second BPEL process from the SOA BPEL console.
So it looks like it is addressing the URL correctly.... but it suggests that stand alone OC4J returns a different response to the SOA suite which I am using for the new version of the BPEL process.... Is this configuration ?
It hints at the xsd file and the complex message type at entry to the BPEL process.
I can run the new process from the SOA suite BPEL Console with no problems.
I hope that clarifies your question about two different service names

  • BPEL 10.1.3.1 Developer Preview - BPEL Console Single Sign On

Can't seem to get into the console. Informs me that it is single sign on but I can't manage to get in with my windows creds. Tried the installation creds as well with no luck. I like the 2 hour lockout (noted sarcasm) but can restart BPEL PM to circumvent that.
Also, couldn't specify my local database during the installation as it complained it wasn't there (I could connect with other clients).

    Hi..,
Would you be able to get the BPEL Login Screen with the 'default' domain in it ..?
Are you be able to get this log in screen...?
http://<yourserver.domain.com>:<BPEL port that shown while installation>/BPELConsole
or Read carefully the BPEL Installation Document. Make sure You have done all the Pre Installtion and Post Installation steps while installing the BPEL..

  • BPEL 10.1.2 hub-and-spoke or distributed architecture?

    Hi,
I'm currently wrestling with the following question:BPEL 10.1.2 hub-and-spoke or distributed architecture?
    Hi,
I'm currently wrestling with the following question:
An ESB as per definition of e.g. Forrester should be capable of supporting a distributed bus architecture. From my understanding this distributed bus architecture is achieved by installing some sort of ESB component(s) on all machines that are participating in this infrastructure, together forming a ‘bus’.
As I understand the BPEL 10.1.2 product basically offers two categories of functionality: orchestration and integration. Does this integration part offer ESB alike functionality and more specific allows for a distributed bus architecture? As far as I can see the BPEL 10.1.2 offers limited ESB alike functionality and only supports a hub-and-spoke architecture.
Other threads in this forum talk about using BPEL 10.1.2 together with InterConnect in order to foresee in ESB functionality. What does InterConnect add to the BPEL 10.1.2 integration functionality?
As of SOA suite 10.1.3 these products have been split up into a BPEL product and an ESB product. Is the ESB product in SOA suite 10.1.3 a combination of the integration from BPEL 10.1.2 and InterConnect? Is this new ESB product able to support a distributed architecture?
I’m very much in favor of a distributed architecture compared to hub-and-spoke, as hub-and-spoke requires a very solid and redundant system that is going to handling all message traffic and other functions. When moving towards a SOA giving an ESB a back-bone role, I’m not very keen on introducing a single system that should actually make up this ESB. Distributed would mean all machines are taking care of some basic functions resulting in a fully functional ESB, even when one or more machines are down.
Am I making sense with this? I would like to know how others are looking at these topics.
    Regards,
    Gershon Janssen

We are struggling with this issue too. The "all-pervasive" vision of the ESB visionaries, in my opinion, means that every node in my enterprise architecture should have access to the bus and I should be able to orchestrate anything that is running on any node in my architecture. We were told to think of an ESB as the equivalent of the hardware bus in computers. From that perspective I thought that:
    (1) BPEL and ESB functions would add a marginal increment to the licensing cost of an app server - I should be able to afford an "all-pervasive" architecture.
    (2) BPEL and ESB functions would add a "marginal increment" to the memory and resource foot-print. Again, I should be able to afford an "all-pervasive" architecture.
Are these two satisfied by Oracle's products ? Some vendors don't seem to support the above two. In that case there is a disconnect between the marketing and technology departments of the vendors. What am I missing ?
If BPEL engines and ESBs are priced very high, based on economics we will end up with a hub-and-spoke model.
    Thanks

  • BPEL locator apis in 11g

Is the locator apis for invocation of BPEL process using rmi deprecated in 11g? can anybody give me more input about the same? What is the recommended way of invoking BPEL processes?

In 11g technology preview the BPEL process cannot be created as per the info in the forums. I wanted to clarify myself regarding that.
This is going to be added later.

  • Print texts in different formats on one page

    Hi all,
Is it possible to print the texts on one page in different fonts and sizes? It seems like PrintTextBuffer prints all the texts onto one page at once and there is no chance to change the format. Thanks,
    LT
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I must admit that I give you that suggestion but I have not used those functions in several years  ; testing your function on my system now (CVI 2009SP1 on Win7 with HP LaserJet printer) I have the same results as you.
Due to the limitations of this printing method I moved rapidly to other ways of printing: there are numerous discussions that you can find in the forums about reporting, but basically you can:
Create a hidden "report" panel where to print your data on standard controls (strings, numerics, graphs, tables and so on) and use PrintPanel to print it
    Use NIReports instrument
Use Office report printing (via Word or Excel)
    Create a PDF
... (other methods I cannot think of at the moment)
The first one is probably the fastest one: you are already accustomed to create panels and after a short trial you can define the correct panel/control aspect to obtain a good report; it permits you also a limited preview if you want to.
Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

  • How to get better resolution on Blu-ray (1080/60i)

I'm experimenting with my new AG-AC160A camcorder and have been shooting youth hockey games in AVCHD mode, 1080/60i, 1/120 shutter, manual gain and white balance set appropriately, and florescent scene file setting due to lighting in rink. I have PP CS5 and am disappointed with the relative lack of HD-crispness when the Blu-ray output is played on my HD LED set. I used the above settings based on recommendations I saw in the forum somewhere. Any suggestions on what I can try differently? Thank you.

To elaborate on Ann's great advice, the Sequence preset you should be using is AVCHD 1080i30 (60i).
A good way to start out with the correct sequence is to import your clips and then drag one onto the "New Item" icon at lower right of Project Bin. This will create a new sequence to match the source material automatically. As Ann mentioned, you have a non-HD preview format, so if you rendered the timeline to green, and checked "Use Previews" on the final export, then your Blu-ray could have "SD quality" footage in it!!
Curious why the 1/120 shutter, hoping to get better action motion?
If you have a current timeline using the incorrect settings, go ahead and add a NEW Sequence with correct settings, open original sequence and "Select All" which is CRTL + A, then CTRL + C to Copy. Then go to the proper AVCHD sequence and Ctrl + V to Paste entire contents. You will now have the edited sequence moved into correct sequence settings. Now use Export and in AME choose "H.264 Blu-ray" and choose the 1080i preset and export, then use results in Encore. The Blu-ray should look excellent when done correctly.
When exporting from AME, do NOT check the box for "Use Previews", as you want to encode direct from original source and skip any intermediate render clips.

  • Desperate help needed...

    Hi
im a student working on a BPEL project.i have a limited knowledge of WSDL,XML,XPATH and no knowledge wotsoever of JSP,EJB,ORACLE 9i,OC4J,SOAP,UDDI .
now i want to develop an application using the BPEL designer in which i interact with a database.
is it possible?and if it is can someone please guide me through it.
moreover what all prerequisite knowledge musti posssess for developing a BPEL application.
my project involves implementing a insurance policy by a business process.
i also need some helpful resources on the net where i can learn BPEL and other related tools from scratch.
any help will be greatly appreciated because i have already spent the better part of 3 weeks trying to learn it through the smaples provided without making much headway.
    THANX
    vishal

thanx sir for the swift reply..
actually i am trying to develop an application which will look into insurance claims.
its for research purposes only so it wont be very extensive or have wide ranging functions.im
thinking of impelmenting a car insurance claim process.
    DETAILS:
the user will enter his information(InsuranceId, TypeOfClaim,TimeOfIncident). Depending on the
type of claim and the user details(stored in the database InsuranceData),the process will
calculate the amount payable by taking into account the depreciation. The user will get an output
that says that his claim has been accepted for xyz amount and this will be added to the
    'TotalAmountClaimed' in the database.
    SPECIFICS:
    1) List of systems/applications: To keep things simple, there will only be one table-
'InsuranceData' with the following columns: (InsuranceId, DateOfInsurance,
    PolicyExpirationDate,AmountInsured, ModelOfCar, TotalAmountClaimed)
    2) List of steps included:
         i) take user input: (InsuranceId, TypeOfClaim,TimeOfIncident)
ii) compare this InsuranceId with the one in the DB and calculate the ClaimAmount ($100
         for now)
iii) return the ClaimAmount to the user
    3) List of exceptions: InsuranceId doesn't exist; Policy Lapsed
    4) List of user tasks/actions: Provide Input to system (2.i); get result from system (2.iii)
i am using the BPEL designer plugin for eclipse and the BPEL process manager. What are the prerequisites(languages, tools, technologies etc) for me to successfully implement this project? Can this be implemented using ASP.NET + C# + Web Services or am i thinking on the wrong lines?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    THANX-A-TON
    Vishal

  • Oracle and XPDL

    Hi,
    I have few questions:
    1. Is XPDL format generating by Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) really XPDL? If I'm trying to open it in another workflow application (i.e. JaWE), it fails.
    2. Can I deploy(plug) the XPDL file from any other workflow application to Oracle Workflow? If yes, how?
I'm using Oracle Workflow 2.6.2 as workflow engine and I plan to use some free workflow software to produce XPDL files, but I don't know the way to put XPDL file to workflow engine.

As far as I know, BPEL 1.1 and XPDL 1.0 are supported currently. BPEL 2.0 is available in PREVIEW mode.

  • Importing MP1 (.mpg) movie files?

I've just started using iMovie08, and athough it was pretty impressive at pulling in all my home movies that were .Mov files, it hasn't pulled in the older movies that were recorded as .mpg files.
iPhoto seems to recognise them just fine, but iMovie won't let me import.
The only thing I've tried to limited success is to convert them in Quicktime, but then the sound track doesn't come through..?
    Please can someone help?
    Thnks

Now have a different problem.... I've imported them into iMovie, but when viewing these videos iMovie frequently crashes (over 5x in the last 10 minutes) and the viewing of the thumbnails is jerky.
Have not had such problems. Believe most crashing problems were traced to missing upgrades and/or conflicts with certain older QT components which needed to be updated. Only crash I've had was attempting to open iMovie '08 after about 72 hours of batch processing. Never found out what caused the crash, but re-booting the computer seemed to fix whatever was wrong. Jerky playback may or may not be indicative of more serious problems. I would make a quick project export and see if the "jerkiness" is limited previewing or affects the final output. Depending on outcome, I might check thumbnail/cache files for possible problems/corruption.

I am an occasional editor and was looking for a package that I could use to quickly add something extra to a show.
Anyone have experience with this package? Next Gen Sampler V1 - Rampant Design Tools

Any other suggestions welcome as well.
    Thanks in advance,

    Note: I'm on a Win7 PC with CS6

I've tried that unsuccessfully Ann (downloading free samples).
But their preview video looks good and the price seems fair so I'll probably just buy them.

  • Plist items of interest

A couple interesting items in the com.apple.Aperture.plist:
    limitPreviewSizeHeight
In the preferences there is no option for limiting previews to the rectangular resolution of my mbp17. The 1680x1680 which is available of course allows for rotation though. Changing the height in the plist to 1050 worked and I was able to regenerate my previews saving a chunk of disk space. (One would expect about a one third saving.) The popup in the prefs now reads Don't Limit despite it now operating at 1680x1050.
    GPUForAdjustments
Just mentioning this out of interest. On my mbp17 this is set to 0. Wonder if the zero means it is not using the graphics processor to aid rendering adjustments.
