This link is pointing to a form processing script on what appears to be your local hard drive (F:drive).
    <form method="post" action="file:///F|/Coastal%20Auctions%20Website%20Live%2012_09_2009/register_a ction.cfm"
It should be pointing to the script in your Local Site Folder.
    <form method="post" action="register_a ction.cfm"
Are you working within a Defined Local Site in DW?  Without this critical first step, DW cannot properly manage site links & assets for you.
Another bit of advice.  Don't use spaces in folder & filenames.  This will create problems for you later.  You may use underscores_ or hyphens- between words but no special characters or spaces.

  • ANNC: MX CSS Menus 2 released

    Hello,
We've just released a new version of our MX CSS Menus -
    version 2.
As compared with the previous version, we did a lot of
    improvements and
    changes:
    - the product now works with simple HTML pages and
    Dreamweaver
    templates (DWT)
    - we've rewritten the CSS file from scratch for easier
    editing (you
can even edit it directly from the Dreamweaver 8 CSS panel)
    - we provide 23 CSS skins (PSD files included) for the 4
    types of
menus that are included (horizontal, vertical, tab and
    expandable)
    - we have included a visual CSS skin builder with live
    preview - that
will generate the CSS for you
    - we have reduced the JS files size three times and doubled
    the
    rendering speed
    - of course, we've preserved the database connectivity that
    made
    version 1 a hit
    - several visual effects are now available (zoom, fade,
    slide)
    - we've tested the menu thoroughly on as many browsers as
    possible
(except IE 5 on MAC, we provide at least partial support on
    all browsers)
    - and many others (better Dreamweaver UIs, rewritten
    documentation and
    tutorials, etc)

    Shane,
I am not going to splash out 400 + for a program I
have no real use for and
if a product is being supplied for use with Dreamweaver then
    the supplied
images should be editable in Fireworks (as Alexandru has now
    confirmed) IMHO

  • Can I consolidate the CSS pages?

    Hello,
I noticed that Muse creates a CSS page for every singe HTML page so I have about 50 CSS pages. What's the point of CSS if there's not just one master?
Is it possible to have just one? For a few reasons,
    A) the client will think I'm crazy once they see 50+ CSS pages
    B) should the client want to make changes in the future it's ridiculous to make them change 50+ pages just to change a font color. No, the client most likely will not buy Muse just to make a few simple updates and I will not be available for future updates.
    OR
Is it possible to export my Muse site so it's not dependent on using Muse in the future? I like building with Muse but am thinking it's probably not the way to go since I build then pass the sites off to clients.
    thanks for any input.

Site wide formatting is stored in the site_global.css. Examples of site wide formatting include Paragraph Styles, Character Styles, Graphics Styles, List Styles and Hyperlink Styles you define in Muse. If you use styles in Muse for your formatting, it would then be possible to edit the CSS style definition in the site_global.css to alter the appearance of all text or objects that use that style (though editing the HTML output by Muse is not a workflow we encourage).
Page-specific formatting (i.e. where the objects are located on the page, formatting applied not using styles, etc.) is stored in a .css file for that specific page, since it's only relevant to that page. Even if you make very heavy use of the styles available in Muse, there will still be size, position and stacking order information that is only relevant to that specific page and thus recorded in the page-specific css file.

  • Css grid builder

Hello. Grateful for any help. I am new to Dreamweaver and
forums . I have found Yahoo's YUI:CSS resource which seems perfect
for me. Simple problem. When I use the Grid Builder tool and copy
and paste the code into my new blank css page in code view I am
unable to then view it in design view so that I can work on it. I
know I am missing something simple here. Thanks.

While this looks good, it's still not clear to me that this
    represents the
totality of the code on your page.
    Try this -
    FILE | New > Other > Text
Paste the code from Yahoo into this page, and then save it in
    your site with
an HTML extension. Do you see anything in Design view now?

  • Integrating CSS page break

Does anyone know how to integrate the CSS page break feature into an ADF page?

Frank, I am building a online report for my app and was formatting it so they could print the page. I want to add the page break feature so that after certain adf components a page break occurs. That was the user can just use the print button on the browser and a multipage report can be printed.

  • "inc" extension wont display in css page layout

i am new to building pages with css. all i know is table based layouts. im trying to make a new template for my sites. also they are ASP pages. my problem is when im trying to use the "inc" code for my headers, footers, navigation, and a right menu. they dont display.
what would be different for getting those files to display in a css page layout?

You're close but you're missing quotes around your include file names.  And your includes contain too much information.
Include files are nothing more than snippets of html code. An include  statement is inserted into the parent page where you want the content to  appear.  For this demo, I have three pre-built SSI files in my Includes  folder:
    HeadMenu.ssi
    LeftLinks.ssi
    Footer.ssi
My parent page has been saved as Untitled.shtml (.shtml or  .shtm tells the server there are include statements in the page). You may also  use .php or .asp if your server supports these, however those include statements look different from  the ones  in this demo.

You can see a working example of this on my website:  http://alt-web.com
One last thing, you won't see includes appear on in browser  until you publish  to a web server.  If you want to test pages locally, you'll need to install a local testing  server (WAMP, XAMP, MAMP) on your computer.
Ask your server host if they  support SSIs and whether or not  .shtml or .shtm files are set-up up to parse includes.  Sometimes you need to add this to your .htaccess file.

  • Web Dynpro application callable object error: Page Builder Not available

    Hi, SDN Fellow.
I created a callable object of Web Dynpro application. The callable object is atatched to an Action, and Action --> Block, and Block --> Process.
I initiate the process in GP Runtime, when it comes to the Action screen the Web Dynpro application atatched to, I got the following error:
The page builder required to display this application UI inside the portal environment is not available.
As aa comparison, another callable object that atatched to a Web Dynpro component (that implement GP interface) is working fine.
    Please advise.
    Thanks in advance,
    KC

    Hi KC,
When you start your process from GP Runtime, does the actual action/callable object open in a new window?
Have a look at this SAP Note:
[Error when executing a GP task - Page builder|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes/sdn_oss_bc_gp/~form/handler%7b5f4150503d3030323030363832353030303030303031393732265f4556454e543d444953504c4159265f4e4e554d3d393831353137%7d]
Although the error message you are getting is different, but if your callable object opens in a new window, then the problem (in most probability) is the same as mentioned in the SAP Note.
Also, try testing the Web Dynpro callable object in standalone mode. For more information on this, see:

  • Drag and drop in Page Builder

    Hi,
Is there any way to enable drag & drop between ContentItem components in the Page Builder interface without having to do custom Flex programming? We would like to allow the user to switch a cartridge position in a page template without having to re-select the cartridge and enter content in again.

Do you mean that you want to be able to drag and drop between sections within the page, drag and drop within the same section, or drag and drop across to a different page?
