Hi Jeff,
do you know why there is no 3.2.0 release on official Eclipse Linux Tools archive page (http://archive.eclipse.org/linuxtools/) or who maintains this?
Thanks a lot,
Sanda

    Unable to install Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 8 Release Preview on RTM 8 Enterprise
    Standalone installer available here
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=28972
    fails with error code 0x80004005
    Is this because my installation has issues, or would the admin pack files be updated for RTM?
    Thank you in advance for any insight

    Found the solution here:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w8itprogeneral/thread/6d8745e0-c4c1-463a-b4bb-09f6c9c22527
    Workaround:
    Download the RSAT package intended for Windows 8 Release Preview: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=28972
    Extract the .msu file with a tool such as 7-Zip.
    Open an Admin command prompt and change directory to where you extracted the .msu.
    Run the following command to install (if x86 you probably have a different .xml filename): pkgmgr /n:Windows6.2-KB2693643-x64.xml
    Wait a while. You can look in task manager for pkgmgr. When it disappears, the installation is done.
    Use the tools as per usual.

  • Is it possible to have duplicate columns from source List to target List while copying data items by Site Content and Structure Tool in SharePoint 2010

    Hi everyone,
    Recently ,I have one publishing site template that has a lot of sub sites which  contain a large amount of  content.
    On root publishing site, I have created custom list including many custom fields
    and saved it as  template  in order that
    any sub sites will be able to reuse it later on .  My scenario describe as follows.
    I need to apply Site Content and Structure Tool to copy   a lot of items
     from  one list to another. Both lists were created from same template
    I  use Site Content and Structure Tool to copy data from source list
    to target list  as figure below.
    Once copied  ,  all items are completed.
     But many columns in target list have been duplicated from source list such as  PublishDate ,NumOrder, Detail  as
    figure below  .
    What is the huge impact from this duplication?
    User  can input data into this list successfully
    but several values of some columns like  “Link column”
    won't  display on “AllItems.aspx” page
    .  despite that they show on edit item form page and view item form page.
    In addition ,user  can input data into this list  as above but
    any newly added item  won't appear on
    on “AllItems.aspx” page
    at all  despite that actually, these
    item are existing on  database(I try querying by power shell).
    Please recommend how to resolve this column duplication problem.

    Hi,
    According to your description, my understanding is that it displayed many repeated columns after you copy items from one list to another list in Site Content and Structure Tool.
    I have tested in my environment and it worked fine. I created a listA and created several columns in it. Then I saved it as template and created a listB from this template. Then I copied items from listA to listB in Site Content and Structure Tool and it
    worked fine.
    Please create a new list and save it as template. Then create a list from this template and test whether this issue occurs.
    Please operate in other site collections and test whether this issue occurs.
    As a workaround, you could copy items from one list to another list by coding using SharePoint Object Model.

  • WebLogic Server Tools 1.1.3 Released

    A service release for WebLogic Server Tools is now available. The focus
    of this release was to fix several remaining issues affecting current
    users and to certify WLS Tools on Eclipse Europa SP2 that was released
    at the end of February. We recommend that all current users migrate to
    this release by using the Eclipse update manager. More information
    about this release can be found in the release notes.

    The Eclipse 3.4 "Ganymede" version of WebLogic Server Tools has also
    been updated. Version 2.0.2 is now available and has been tested with
    Ganymede M5 milestone build. Of course, since Ganymede platform is still
    under development we don't recommend this version for most users, but
    early adopters with tolerance for pre-release stability can get a sneak
    peak of what's coming in the next Eclipse release.

    Konstantin Komissarchik
    Team Lead for WebLogic Server Tools

    WebLogic Server Tools is built on Eclipse Web Tools Platform which has a
    particular project structure that has to be followed. Basically, you
    create an EAR project. This contains your app-level descriptors,
    APP-INF/lib and any binary modules. Then, for every module in an EAR,
    you create a separate project. For web module, use the Dynamic Web
    Project. For EJB modules, there is an EJB project. The projects are
    wired up using the "J2EE Module Dependencies" project properties page.
    Use this page on the EAR project to specify which module projects should
    be included in the EAR. Once you've done that, you can use this page in
    the module projects to specify inter-module dependencies.
    Basically, you have to take your app and convert it into the form that
    Eclipse can understand. The easiest way to do that is to create the
    projects based on the module structure of your app and then copy content
    from your application into those projects. Once you are done, you will
    be able to use WebLogic Server Tools to deploy to WLS. The split
    directory magic will happen behind the scenes to give you a fast
    iterative development experience.
    Hope this answers your questions.

  • ANN: XSQL Servlet 0.9.8.6 Release Available

    Oracle is excited to announce the 0.9.8.6 technology preview
    release of Oracle XSQL Pages and the XSQL Servlet with major
    new functionality.

    http://technet.oracle.com/tech/xml/xsql_servlet/
    Click on "Software" to Download
    Click on "Release Notes" for Full Documentation
    XSQL Pages are server-side XML templates that make it easy
    to exploit the powerful combination of SQL, XML and XSLT to
    prototype and deploy dynamic, data-powered sites and web
    services.
    The XSQL Servlet installs into your favorite Java Servlet
    environment and works with your favorite relational database,
    making it dead easy to:
    -> Assemble XML "DataPages" from multiple SQL Query
    Results (including full support for Oracle8i's
    richly-structured XML Objects Views), local or remote
    XML resources, Stored Procedure Calls, etc.
    -> Transform the "DataPages" in the server using XSLT,
    optionally using stylesheets that are appropriate to
    the requesting client, including the ability to
    let the client to the stylesheet processing for IE5
    or other clients in the future that support this.
    Our online support forum for XML is at:
    http://technet.oracle.com/support/bboard/discussions.htm
    The XSQL Servlet demos (included in the release) are
    installed on Oracle's OTN site and can be tested from the
    comfort of your browser before you download if you choose:

    This new 0.9.8.6 release includes...
    More Documentation
    ==================
    More extensive documentation and new tutorial material.
    New Demos
    =========
    New and enhanced demos with additional notes describing key
    points each demo is trying to illustrate.
    New API's and JavaDoc
    =====================
    Programmatically process XSQL Pages from your own Java
    programs using a new XSQLRequest object, as well as write
    custom page "action handlers" with new JavaDoc and
    example code.
    New Features
    ============
    <xsql:query>
    The <query> element from previous releases is now part of
    the xsql namespace and is referred to using the new
    <xsql:query> syntax in your XSQL Page. A new section details
    how to use <xsql:query> to produce XML query results with
    nested structure.
    <xsql:dml>
    Do DML and call stored procedures anywhere you need to in
    your XSQL Pages.
    <xsql:stylesheet-param>
    Use parametrized XSLT Stylesheets and set the stylesheet
    parameter values from your XSQL Page.
    <xsql:insert-request>
    Automatically insert posted XML or HTML Form parameters into
    the database.
    <xsql:include-xml>
    Include arbitrary XML resources at any point in your page by
    relative or absolute URL.
    <xsql:include-request-params>
    Include key information like HTTP Parameters, Session
    Variable values and Cookies into your XSQL Page for
    addressing them in your stylesheet.
    <xsql:include-xsql>
    Include the results of one XSQL Page at any point inside
    another. This allows sophisticated combinations of multiple
    XML data sources and multiple XSLT transformations.
    <xsql:include-owa>
    Include the results of executing a stored procedure that
    makes use of the Oracle Web Agent (OWA) packages inside the
    database to generate XML.
    <xsql:action>
    Invoke a user-defined action handler, implemented in Java,
    for executing custom logic and including custom XML
    information into your XSQL Page.
    null

    That error message is outdated and should read:
    Cannot find XSQLConfig.xml in your server-side classpath. The error is definitely that it's not finding XSQLConfig.xml on your classpath. The likely cause is that you did not add the directory:
    ./xsql/lib
    to your CLASSPATH in the JRun Servlet Engine Java environment.

    On a related note, we now have support for Eclipse 3.4 "Ganymede"
    platform which is currently under development. This is accomplished via
    a separate version of WebLogic Server Tools that's released in parallel
    with the existing Eclipse 3.3 "Europa" version. So version 2.0 of WLS
    Tools is the 1.1.1 equivalent for Ganymede. Since Ganymede platform is

    Hello,
    WLS Tools only works with the the admin server.
    Interactive development against a managed server is a little different, because they require the admin server during startup and deployment is also a little different with a managed server
    is there a specific reason why you are trying to run against a managed server ?
