Annotation error in IDE

Hi, i'm trying to use annotation in my code, but the compiler show following error message:
(try -source 1.5 to enable annotations)
my jdk defaullt is jdk 1.5
help.

Oh, dear.
If you use PSE as your external editor for iphoto, you need to save the images back to iphoto by using Save, not Save As and not changing anything like the name or format that would bring up the Save As window. (You may need to adjust the editor prefs>saving files>on first save to save over existing.)
OR you can export the photos from iphoto to the desktop, use file>open in the editor and then change whatever you want and either import the saved image to the organizer or import it back to iphoto as a new file. What you are doing is extremely risky, particularly to the iphoto library which you may easily damage by your workflow.
I would start the organizer holding down the shift key, then create a new catalog and switch to the new one. Then try opening the editor without opening an image and see if you get any farther.
PSE and iphoto are not designed to be used as you've been doing. You are trying to write to the iphoto library from outside iphoto, which is the fastest known way to corrupt the library and lose all your photos.

I'm having a very similar problem.
I'm based in the U.K. and am trying to publish an iBook through the iTunes bookstore. I have made my book in iBooks author 2.0. My iTunes is up to date.
When I try and publish the iBook I have passed and ticked the Pre Publish Check; and the Create Account, but when I try and download iTunes Producer through iTunes Connect I'm told "Your Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Content."
When I try and re-set my iTunes Store account I'm told "The iTunes Store Account has already applied to distribute content on the iBookstore." Of course it has I just did that.
If I try and sign in to iTunes Connect through the Publishing pane I'm told "Your ID or Password was entered incorrectly." Even though I've just used it to sign into iTunes (and here), so my password and Apple ID work fine elsewhere.
Is my access to the iTunes Connect being delayed while my submission is processed, i.e. the processing of my tax and account details? Or am I stuck in a loop?
If this is still processing (I started this 20 hours ago) I assume that I have to submit the book itself when I can download iTunes Producer at a later date, as I haven't submitted the book yet?
I emailed the problem to iTunes Store and was refered to [email protected], only for them to say they don't read or reply to emails sent to that address??????
I'm not sure which part of the process I've reached - if any. I feel I'm in limbo. I have an iBook ready to go - but where is Apple?
Any help would be most welcome.

Have you tried to export different images as a test to see if it is related to the one you are getting the error on? Also try to export to a different folder other then the Desktop, again to see if the problem is connected to that folder.
Another thing to do is run the Aperture Library First Aid on the library. Hold the option and command keys down while you start Aperture. First run the Permission Repair and see if that helps. If not quit Aperture and restart and run the Library Repair and try.
Post back if you still have problems

im using a NI PXI-8176 Controller with Labview 7.1 RT, NI-DAQmx 7.5.0,
IMAQ Vision RT 7.1.1, IMAQ for IEEE 1394 RT 2.0.1 and IMAQ Server 1.6.0 installed.
After reboot i get the "KERNEL.346520: Error initializing IDE drive D:" error message on my VGA monitor and the system halts,
on every second/third reboot the application startup.exe is loaded and everything seems to work fine.
If there is no target application the KERNEL error message does not appear, so it has to be a
problem with the startup.exe. There is no IDE drive D in the system.
I suspect a problem with the IMAQ driver, because a system with the same hardware without IMAQ stuff installed does not show this behavior.
Anybody out there who can give me a hint where to start the search?

Hi Frank,
you told there is no HDD declared as D: in your controller.
When you format a HDD with NTFS then this error occur.
As you told here I think it's the IMAQ driver too.
That error occur only when you start the application after boot.
One solution could be a update of your IMAQ-Driver. Another possiblity is to make the startup program a simple VI that first waits 30 seconds and
then launches the main (complete) executable using VI Server. The
program will start every time.

Yes, Markus77 is on the right track.
But, I would simply guess the CD-ROM drive is somehow out-of-order or broken, and that's why the Laptop has been available (hopefully not for sale for too many bucks ...)
One simple repair trial could be to open the Laptop and take the CD drive out of its bay and cable connector, clean them and place back carefully, and if lucky enough, it may wake-up for the BIOS, or maybe not ...

i keep getting this error everytime i sync my ipod touch 3g to my computer. i have windows vista and i keep turning the ipod on/off, let it charge fully and used different usb ports. idk what else to do. any ideas?

Yep, i did reinstall iTunes (I don't have any other Apple software) and I keep everything (except BIOS) updated religiously. It didn't help.
To add to my previous post - when I was able to connect to iTunes that one time, iTunes started downloading 750 Mb update. About 20% into download, iPod disconnected and went into the same old spiral of death with 0xE8000068 error in iTunes. I kept it connected and tried to reconnect again, without success. I was afraid to close iTunes, so I waited until iTunes downloaded all of 750Mb, and voila - by morning, iPod was restored.. Albeit a little weird, it wasn't restored to factory settings, it just managed to boot correctly and now works. It seems to be missing some files (e.g. iTuneU won't show any subscriptions, but I can still listen and watch the lectures from iTunesU through "Music"->"iTunesU" menu).
So far so good. I'll just restore it when I listen through my 6Gb of lectures and podcasts - I'm in Hawaii on vacation now, using hotel's WiFi and I don't know how kindly the hosts will look upon 6Gb download within a day, maybe they pay per gigabyte here. Besides I ain't fixing what works.

The program does not like the line "unix_pc_path text-001 text-002 text-003." and gives an error "Statement not accessible". I went through some discussion forums on this here but nothing related to macro. Could anyone please give me an idea how I could resolve this? All the answers will be rewarded.

You cannot put it in START-OF-SELECTION a you need the unix path in the
AT SELECTION-SCREEN FOR OUTPUT event.. move the statement from the selection-screen block to the INITIALIZATION event.
