Hi Sebastian,
I came across the same error. My table is a very simple one. 3 columns. One of it is a not null column. I created a tabular form with rowid as PK. The wizard created a validation on the not null column.
Whenever I want to add more than one row at the same time, the error "no data found" appears.
Even when I want to update the table, the error comes up.
I have not found a solution so far, but please keep me updated.
Best regards,
Denise

  • Announcement: Oracle Communications Service Delivery Community Launching

Oracle is excited to announce the launch of the Communications Service Delivery community on June 15, 2009. My Oracle Support Community is a multi-channel interactive community for sharing information, posting support questions and answers, and providing suggestions about Oracle products, services, and related technologies. To take advantage of this new Community, login to My Oracle Support, formerly known as MetaLink, navigate to the Community Tab and select "Enter Here". A new browser session will open, placing you in the Community. To return to other areas of My Oracle Support, simply select the previous browser session.

    Senior Manager, Oracle Support

Hi Tom, I would guess that when you log into Metalink that you are set to Classic Metalink rather than the new My Oracle Support. On the login screen there is a radio button to make the choice, this will disappear very soon as Metalink is retired and My Oracle Support becomes the common portal for all Oracle Support Customers.
Please go to the login screen, select My Oracle Support. Access to the Community is then available via the lik at the top of the screen. Even better news is that this weekend the Community was updated to include new and user friendly enhancements.

  • Communication from the Oracle Mngt service host to the agent host failed

    Hi There,
I have installed Oracle 10.2.0.1 Grid software on a Solaris Zone. I plan to upgrade it to 10.2.0.5 very soon but would like to test the agent connection from a remote server first. I installed agent version 10.2.0.5 on the remote server. When I log into the oracle grid GUI I can see the host called "localhost" (this is not the correct name. It should be the server name) and the database instances on that server. However, when I select the localhost and press the configure button I get the following message:
Communication from the Oracle Mngt service host to the agent host failed. Refer to help for details localhost:cn=servername
The system administrators changed the /etc/hosts file to make sure the server was listed first fully qualified. For example: servername.domain.com instead of servername. However, this did no make a difference.
Could the issue be any of the following:
    - Oracle 10.2.0.1 GRID does not work with 10.2.0.5 agents ?
    - Oracle GRID in general don't work on SOLARIS Zones?
    Please help.
    Thanks.

OMS - -> Agent communication is not upward compatible
Downward, so Agent 10.2.0.1 --> OMS 10.2.0.5, should not be a problem.
In the last case however, you would not have access to any 10.2.0.5 Agent features.
So you can choose from 2 working options:
    1 - Install the 10.2.0.1 Agent
2 - Upgrade your OMS to 10.2.0.5 (preferable)
    Regards
    Rob

Do you think it is helpful to you? or the client?
By the way, at 5am-7am the apps/db services are shutdown to give way to a "cold" backup. You noticed that
most of the services during this time have exit status "1". Except for addisctl and adcmctl , they are still "0". Can you tell me why
even if the apps is shutdown, this two services when tested their status....it is still "0"?

  • How to install Oracle Report Services in Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.1

My project is running on Oracle Application Server(OAS) 10.1.3.1, and I need to develop some Oracle Reports for my client.
But I find out there is not "Oracle Report Services" component in OAS 10.1.3.1 like OAS 10.1.2.
Is there Oracle Report Services for OAS 10.1.3.1? How to get it?

    Max Yuan wrote:
You mean I need to install 2 OAS(10.1.2 for report, 10.1.3 for my project), or deploy my project to 11g? For the Reports reporting project, you'll need a version/edition that includes AS Reports Services.
In "10gr2" that means AS 10.1.2.0.2 (plus Patch set): AS Infrastructure + AS BI&Forms installation (enterprise edition) or the standalone Forms and Reports installation (EE or separate licensing). You also need the Developer Suit (Reports Builder). OFM "11gr1" suite has some version of Reports Services but I don't know the available packages and installation types.

  • Oracle Authentication Services for OS11.1.1.3 - Unix Support

    Hello
I am trying to locate what versions of Oracle Auth services for OS support unix? and versions of unix that oracle supports?
    appreciate any guidance.

If you contact Oracle Support, they can give you an estimated release date. This will be a 'no sooner than' release date. Releases may always slip if issues have been found that need to be fixed before the patchset is released to the public.

what I did wrong? how to start WLS server?

    Hi,
First of all with EM 12.1.0.x any version you are not required to install wls separately, we have single installer for em and wls. Is there any specific reason you installer wls separately?
Coming back to your issue: can you check
    %OMS_HOME%\BIN>emctl istart oms completes successfully.
    %OMS_HOME%\BIN>emctl istop oms completes successfully.
Also open an SR with Oracle support and share the number. We should debug such issue through SR so that we can share logs and come find a root cause.

  • Selling on Oracle support services

    Hi Everyone
My name is Ajit. I'm new to this forum. Infact I'm new on the Oracle Technology. I've just joined a company which provides support services on Oracle technology. We focus on RDBMS right now and we are also an Oracle Partner.
I'd like to know how do I develop myself in the field of Business Development for Oracle support services. I'd like to know which magazines, newsletters, websites, forums etc. I need to visit to serve my existing clients better and to generate new clients.
Would really appreciate if you could help me on this one.
Feels great to join the Oracle community.
    Ajit.

    Hi Kai.
Thanks for clarifying the requirement and passing this on. I believe that you cannot currently add new warning messages to Fusion HCM SaaS.
Adding a new validation and resulting pop-up message would require either (a) ADF adjustments in JDev and an app redeploy or (b) Application Composer to add an object trigger/groovy script. Obviously there is no backend development for Fusion SaaS and App Composer is available for CRM products currently. I couldn't find anyway the standard Page Composer could have the capability to add new validation logic to the UI.
As you already mentioned in the other thread, if a validation and FND message already exists at that point, the text can be customized via the Manage Messages page in the FSM task.
    Kind regards,
    Richard

    Hi,
you have a database version 10.2.0.1.0, but SOA needs 10.2.0.2 or higher. Update your database using the latest patchset.

  • Error 500--Internal Server Error in Oracle SPARQL Service Endpoint

    Hi,
I followed the instructions of "Setting Up the SPARQL Service" in the developer's guide. However, after I finished all the steps and click "Submit Query" button in Oracle SPARQL Service Endpoint using Joseki page, I got this error message:
    Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
I can't figure out what's wrong with the service. Can anybody pls help me solve the problem? Thanks in advance.
    Kind Regards,
    Hong
