Annoying Flash Player Notice

To whom this may concern:
1.   Everytime I turn on my Laptop, at the bottom of the screen is a:  Blocked Notice that says, ''this web page wants to install the Flash Player"!    It gives me a choice of:  1.  Allow for this site.  2.  Allow for all websites.  I click the X icon, to close it, because since when I installed the FLASH PLAYER, about 3 weeks ago, I experienced all kinds of MALFUNCTIONS on my computer.  I then UNINSTALLED it, and since then I get this ANNOYING Box at the bottom of every page.
2.  Then when after I enter some words into the Search Box, I am directed to a page that is to me, BLOCKING all of my searches!  It looks like a Search page:  it has abbreviations of different sites like:    EBAY   AMAZON and a few others.
3.  When making a search on my homepage of Yahoo, I notice On the top where my Browser is:  there is a small box that says:  NEW TAB!!!   I click on the X, to close it, then I get the page that I want.
Is there anyway of disabling this ANNOYING BOTTOM SCREEN  TAB and ANNOYING BOX????

  • Annoying Flash Player Lag

Something which I have noticed as a problem in the previous and current computer which I have regarding Adobe flash. Normally, flash animations and videos are supposed to be running smoothly and fast.. but whenever I played graphics intensive games on Newgrounds like Einstein’s Manhattan Project and Larry and the Gnomes, Adobe Flash severely lags and this lag strangely… remains.
I try and watch numerous flash animations but the intense lag is still very much there and it’s bothersome to me. Now, I have tried clearing the cache to see if it would speed up Flash animations.. That doesn’t work. I also have uninstalled Firefox numerous times… That didn’t work either. I make sure my Adobe Flash is automatically updated.. that doesn’t work either. So then I uninstall and then re-install Adobe flash.. Surprisingly, that doesn’t work either. I’ve tried even disabling hardware acceleration.. Doesn’t work either.
This problem first hit my Vista (which is now long since dead as of November of 2012) when I played Einstein’s Manhattan Project on Newgrounds sometime around 2009. Now a similar problem hit me a couple of weeks ago when I was playing Larry and the Gnomes. Every few seconds, flash videos and animations would slow down and briefly lag and become choppy. And it doesn’t happen in Firefox either but Internet Explorer as well too.
Has anyone else had this problem which seems to be quite persistent and does anyone know how to fix this?
    Operating System: Windows 8
    Default Browser: Mozilla FireFox 23.0.1
Adobe Flash Player: Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.94

They aren't interested in solving our problems unless we are making them money. They don't care about the users who watch videos and play games, they only care about those who will purchase their overpriced software. As long as a certain percentage of users are satisfied, they aren't going to look into making flash what it should be: Something that works. They are going to look at more ways for making money.

I have a Mac running OSX 10.5.6 and my in browser flash player is displaying a bizarre default font that is nearly unreadable. How do I change this? I've checked to see if the problem exists in both Safari and Firefox and it does.

  • Someone please help me with my flash player problems, i install and then told its not installed

i have windows 7 only on my laptop now, but it seems that i have all the necessary products needed to play games etc.  I have all my programs that need updates marked to do so as available. I have noticed when i go to particular sites now , like games in FB or games thru my AOL they tell me i need to install the newest version of the flash player. so i do that, go back to that site, same notification appears to install. i dont know ALOT about my laptop but have learned enough to know that i should very well it should be there if i have installed it time and time again  correct? i dont understand the whole basis of what i might need for different sites/games. I have been playing the Big Fish game site since Dec. 2012 and it seems ever since i have been on a daily visit to that site SOMEHOW i cant play any other sites games now. so i read , do this, than this, if this or that is needed..........well it becomes a miss in my brain as to what they are telling/suggesting could be the problem. I truly need someone that has this knowledge to help me learn. i use to play on the webkinz world site for over a year, so last night i thought i would go back in there and again the flash player notice. so something has changed that i am unaware of it and how to solve it. i totally appreciate any help and time someone could give me. thank you,

  • When I click Tools and then plugins and check whether my plugins are up to date or not, Firefox gives me a notice saying my Flash Player is an outdated version and must be replaced.

I am trying to do something that requires Flash Player, but even though it shows in my control panel, and it is the latest version, I keep seeing a notice that it is disabled, and it does not appear in the list of plugins, so I don't know how to enable it.
I have been installing the same version over and over again since yesterday, but when I go to check the plugin, a box appears saying it is disabled. When I go in Tools to the list oif plugins, it is not there! Very frustrating. edit

In Add-ons > Plugins, you must enable "Shockwave Flash (version)"; that is Adobe Flash. Click the "Enable" button next to it. The most current version is 10.3.183.10, which was released just a few days ago.
    '''''"Installed Plug-ins''''' <br />
'''''Many but they are all disabled."'''''
Did you disable all of your plugins? Why?
You need to re-enable your plug-ins in Add-ons > Plugins, then check them to see if they are current and update as necessary.
You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update as necessary:

There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash; an '''ActiveX version''' for IE only and a '''Plugin version''' for most other browsers including Firefox. On a Windows system, you should always update both individually.
#'''Using Firefox''', go to the following direct download link and SAVE the download to your desktop so you can find it later: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
#When the download is finished, close Firefox (File > Exit '''''OR''''' Firefox button > Exit)
#Click or double-click on the file you just saved to your desktop
#*In the installation window that appears, click the box to the left of "I have read and...." to place a check mark in the box
#*The "Install" button in the lower right corner will now be highlighted, click it.
    #*The installation is quick.

You have multiple old Java Console '''''extensions''''' that Java did not clean-up during updates. You need Java Console only if you do Java programming/development or debug Java applets on web pages. You can see them in Add-ons > Extensions, '''''but you can not remove them from there'''''. • Camera just up and stopped working with flash player. SUUUUPER annoying. Any ideas?

    Hi:
Windows XP SP3 32bit, latest updates applied
    Firefox 3.6.6 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0E))
    IE 8.0.6001.18702
    Flash Player 10,1,53,64
HP EliteBook 8530w with built-in HP camera (brand spankin' new).
So Flash Player today decided it doesn't want to work with my webcam. I have pulled my hair out trying to figure out what the problem is. The camera works fine with other video camera software, such as Adobe Flash Live Encoder 3.1, for example, or the various Microsoft cam tools. But Flash Player just won't see it. When I visit a website that uses the camera through flash, all I get is a black box. I never get the privacy screen that asks me if I would like to allow the site temporary access to my camera. If i go into my settings, and go to the camera tab, it shows my camera device in the dropdown box. But you know how if you double-click the little box under the dropdown, it should activate your camera and display a little video inside that box? That doesn't work for me. All I get is this:
It doesn't matter if I use FF or IE. I've re-installed Flash Player, both the FF version and the Ax version. To no avail. I've logged into my computer as a different user, because hell maybe it's some weird dumb thing in the Flash Player cache or something. Nope.
Now here's the super, super, super annoying part: I just recently moved to this laptop and one of the things I was looking forward to was a computer where my webcam would FINALLY work with flash player again. Yes, that's right: my old computer had this exact same problem. And in both cases, at one point the camera worked with Flash player no problem, and then at some point, it just stopped working.
This makes me think, of course, that the problem is some nefarious piece of software I've installed, but I can't think of what that is. I know the camera was working with my new computer as early as last week. Recently I've installed a bunch of software, including Adobe Media Live Encoder 3.1, Flash Professional CS5, and the Adobe Connect add-in. I've uninstalled everything except CS5, because, hey, who wants to re-install that if they don't have to? I'll do that as a last result, but the guy sitting next to me has the entire CS5 suite installed and camera works fine for him with Flash Player (same exact hardware too), so I don't think it's that. Other than that, I dunno. I've got VS2008 and 2010 installed. GoToMeeting. Office. That's about it.
So. Any ideas? Any thoughts on how I could even start to debug the issue? Logging or something? Any help is much appreciated.

    Yes.
    Victory is mine.
    VICTORY IS MINE!!!
    Solution:
    Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg
    Set
    AVHardwareDisable=1
    to:
    AVHardwareDisable=0
Restart your browser. Done. Camera works now.
I really want to shout this solution from the rooftops, because try Googling the solution sometime. I did. I failed. You will too. Hopefully if I use some more 18-point bold font, Google will index it faster, because that's the way it works right?
I actually had no idea that Flash Player has a folder in Windows\system32 at all, and I definitely had no idea that this file existed. I am guessing some stinking app I installed decided I needed AVHardwareDisable set to 1 for some reason (effers). I found out about the location by just lazily searching through the windows registry for "Flash Player" and eventually saw it pointing to that directory. A little more poking around and I found this file.
Those of you who actively support this forum: please keep this in the back of your mind, next time someone has audio/video input problems with Flash Player. I've found an awful lot of forum posts from people with cameras not working, and I bet a good portion of them need this fix. Reinstalling Flash Player will not fix it. Here's hoping the solution comes up in Google for the next unlucky soul.

  • Flash Player 11.6 r602 annoying boop sound

Flash Player is giving off a "booping" sound every 6 to 10 seconds it's utterly annoying. I already tried a reinstallation but to no avail. What could that be and how do i shut it off?
The Volume Meter in Windows 7 Ultimate x64 shows it as Flash Player 11.6 r602 and i have the latest version installed.
I'm using Firefox v20.0 x64 If there's any additional information that is needed i will try to provide it.
I have no idea what's causing it to do this sound and recording it would be a pretty hefty piece of work i think^^ so please bear with it...

  • In recent weeks many websites show "blocked plug-in". Clicking onto it reveals a notice that my Adobe Flash Player needs updating but I'm not able to do it because Step 3  of the update has "blocked plug-in" in it.

In recent weeks many websites on my OS X (10.6.8) have been showing a white patch with "blocked plug-in" on it preventing access to all of the site. When I
click onto it a message appears stating that my Adobe Flash Player needs updating and when I have downloaded the upgrade & moved  to Step 3 I get
a "blocked plug in" on it as well. How do I resolve this issue?
    Archeee

When you have installed the latest version of Flash, relaunch Safari and test.
If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then in System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.
You can also try these illustrated instructions from C F McBlob to perform a full "clean install", which will resolve the "Blocked Plug-in" message when trying to update via the GUI updater from Adobe.
Use the FULL installer for 12.0.0.44:  Flash Player 12 (Mac OS X)
And the instructons are here: Snow Leopard Clean Install.pdf
