Annoying Non-HP inktcartridge message

I have a HP Photosmart 65020 and installed remanufactured inktcartridges, now I'm being harrassed by HP every time I print something because of that. Is there a way to stop HP from displaying the Non-Inktcartridge message every time I print something? I'm running Windows 8 and have already tried to find the registry HKLM\Software\Hewlett-Packard\HPDJ Printing System Config\then your hp model but with no luck.
Reason for installing remanufactured cartridges is that those will cost me half of original HP cartridges and have more than double the amount of ink in them. For something that eventually is going to be thrown away I really prefer to be a cheapskate.

Hi @Crispy78,
Welcome back to the HP Support Forums! I see you are using refilled cartridges with your HP Photosmart 6520, and everytime you print you get a pop up regarding the non HP ink. No, there is not a way to turn these notifications off, as they are warnings for the printer. A stated on ALL ink troubleshooting documents:
'HP recommends that you use genuine HP cartridges. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP cartridges or refilled HP cartridges. If you do not use genuine HP cartridges, the following solutions might not resolve your print quality issue.'
To get a better understanding take a look at the documents below:
Can I Refill The Ink In My HP Ink Cartridge?
HP Inkjet Print Cartridges vs. Refilled Cartridges
I hope this helps, if you have any other questions about the ink please call our technical support at 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link below to get the support number for your region.

  • MDM adapter Non-XML Inbound Messaging

    Hi all,
I have a scenario where I transport a csv file via PI (NW711_05_REL) to MDM using the File adapter (sender) and MDM adapter 7.1 7.1 (receiver).
The message is sent through to the MDM port fine, and it seems to choose xml as default file type and PI MSG ID as file name.
This results in an xml file with csv content.
As I want to put the file on the port with its original file type (csv) and name, I need to tweak the MDM adapter a bit. For this I have tried to find MDM specific modules, but have been unable to do so.
I have found a u201Cwork aroundu201D by using u201CSet Adapter Specific Message Attributeu201D on the sender file adapter u2013 described on help.sap.com
Configuring the sender file adapter as described in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmdm71/helpdata/en/48/9854884d3217cee10000000a421937/content.htm i am able to set the "FileName" attribute in dynamic configuration.
This enables me to get some of the desired effect, as the file on the MDM port is now a csv file u2013 half way there!! However the file name remains PI MSG ID...
Am I missing something here or is the adapter not working as intended? I donu2019t understand why it should only use the file type when the entire filename and type is there. I would assume that the entire filename and extension would be used in the MDM port.
I have tried achieving the desired result by using the "AF_Modules/DynamicConfigurationBean" on a JMS adapter, but the result is the same.
I would like to avoid developing my own custom module to handle this, as it seems like it should be possible to handle in a more standard way.
I hope someone out there can help me out, and hope to see a lot of good replies.
    Best Regards,
    Jesper

have you gone thur these settings?
    Non-XML Inbound Messaging
When the backend system uses the PI File Adapter sender as the communication channel to deliver messages to the PI server, and the receiving MDM channel corresponds to an inbound MDM port of type other than XML (for example, Flat text file), then you must enable the File Adapter Specific Message Attribute named File Name as follows:
           1.      Edit the corresponding File Adapter sender communication channel.
           2.      In the Advanced tab, choose Set Adapter Specific Message Attribute.
           3.      Choose the File Name.
           4.      Save and activate the changes.

  • Non-Blocking SOAP-Message WITHOUT Messaging Provider?

    Hi there!
Is there any possibility of sending a non-blocking SOAP-Message WITHOUT using a MessagingProvider?
Im thinking about a Service which doesnt need to give any Feedback!
    Thanks alot!
    Eric Sommer

I believe that JAXM does not support a non-blocking send without a messaging provider. However, the receiver can simply return an empty message and the sender can ignore the reply:
    public SOAPMessage onMessage(SOAPMessage msg) {
        // process message
        return messageFactory.createMessage();
}In fact, the receiver may be able to return the same message it received. I've tried this and it works but I didn't dig into the JAXM spec to be sure it's legal.

  • Sending non-SOAP XML message without using JMS

Hi, I would like to build application to exchange non-SOAP XML message without using JSM. Could you please tell me which Java Technology that can help doing this? Thanks in advance

to be more specific, could you please tell me any open source jaxm-like that support non-SOAP XML?

  • Photosmart 7520 - Non-HP Cartridge Message

As of today, I have received 4,874 "Non-HP Cartridge(s)" messages from HP.  I consider this out and out harassment rather than reminders to use HP cartridges in the printer.  I am using Office Depot cartridges because the local Office Depot was out of HP 7520 cartridges when I needed them last September.  I tried the hard reset sequence suggested in an earlier post, but it did not work (I've received 12 messages from HP as I drafted this!).  If HP is trying to drive off customers, they are doing a fine job.  And at this point, on general principles, I can't envision buying genuine HP catrridges for the printer, or buying any other HP product in the future.  If anyone has any suggestions on how to make the messages stop (short of buying HP cartridges), please let me know.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post serial numbers and case details.
If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, this post has instructions.

  • REALLY ANNOYING!! Nokia Messaging for Nokia E72

    Hello,
I like my new E72. Just had it last Friday. But something VERY VERY VERY annoying happen with my email service from Nokia Messaging. My Nokia E51 has Nokia messaging service, but somehow all of sudden it stops and won't work again. This time my E72 has a very active (if not HYPERACTIVE) Nokia messaging email service. It keeps downloading an email, randomly, not consecutively by date, and suddenly all emails disappear, and being downloaded again, and disappear again, and downloaded again......(neverending). I don't know what happen, is this because of my E72 or nokia messaging. It's been 3 days, and I got VERY disturbed by this. No matter whether you have read the email or reply one email, it keeps received as a new email.
WHAT HAPPEN?? does anyone experience the same problem with me? any suggestion? any solution?
One more thing, can the setting be changed from IMAP to POP3? I did that with my previous E51, and it works well. But it seems that there are no option for this in E72. Help anyone? Desperately needed.
    Thank you.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Forgive me for finding your 'hyperactive' Nokia Messaging amusing, I'm sure it isn't in the least. Concerning the POP/IMAP, I altered my provider email settings to POP only because it too was confusing Nokia Mail and Email on 3, and me! I then removed the accounts on the phone and set them up again and didn't have to do anything different, and then it worked just fine and still pushes emails no problem.
One of the email services I have uses gmail (in some way or other) to handle its email transport and this seemed to cause a lot of bother certainly when IMAP was activated, even though I don't use gmail at all

  • Annoying  Caller ID Nag Message

When we got our new LG Cosmos phone it offered a trial period to allow the caller ID display to show the city where the call is coming from.
Now that the trial period is over a very annoying nag screen keeps asking me to buy the service.
Of course the only options are “buy” and “ask me later”.
I believe this is Verizon’s doing, correct?
I’m very disappointed that they don’t offer me a “No” choice.
Can someone please tell me how to get rid of this crap?
    Thanks

Re: Annoying Enhanced ID - City ID Message: Thank you for your answer to the above msg. I was going to ask the exact same thing. What you said to do, worked fine. And was a quick fix. Thanks again.

  • Trying to play my voicemail message in the phone app. None of the message options can be accessed when touching the screen. Any ideas?

When trying to access my voicemail message to hear it. None of the taps on the screen work.

If so, you can place this video in the folder of photos on your computer that is selected to be transferred to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, select Include Videos.

  • Non-sense error message trying to create view

    Greetings All,
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production on Windows 2008R2
I am getting an error while trying to create a view. The error makes no sense in that no attempt to change a user name or password as the error message being produced suggests.
I can execute the entire select statement fine, I get results back.
If I comment out the line indicated as being in error, the problem moves to the line prior to the one commented out. The 4 lines prior to the line indicated by the error message are similar. The error is occurring on the last of the 5 similar lines of code.
If I move all 5 lines further up in the code the error moves accordingly.
    The function validate_number (near where the error is identified) under certain conditions will issue a execute immediate 'alter session set nls_numeric_characters = ''.,''';
The column number identified in the error message is 2 spaces prior to the validate_number function call.
Below is the syntax for the creation of the view, the error message is at the bottom.
The numbers to the far left indicate the line number. I put 2 blank lines before and after the line of code identified by the error message.
The error points to the 2-spaces in front of the VALIDATE_NUMBER function call on line 350. just before the sql code ==> validate_number(Spend_Qty,'')),0) <==
    Thanks for your time,
    Bob

Checking for privileges was the first thing I did.

Also has alter session privilege which is needed within the validate_number function (see below).

  • Non-displaying error messages

I've developed this form that runs into oracle form errors. Everyone who runs my forms can see the error message at the bottom while I just get the message 'Working...'
Also text fields that are attatched to LOV's do no return a system message that the field is an LOV selectable field. Getting the LOV is not the problem...but all the associated infomarion doesn't appear like number of records in the LOV which all the users can get. Help|Display Error doesn't return the error message or error code back to me.
This is a problem only on my machine but it's hard to see what errors other ppl are getting if all I hear is the "ding" sound without the error message.
    Bad Oracle Forms install?

Make sure that you have the console window set to an existing window in the module property.

  • Conversion of Non-Standard X12 message with Seeburger Adapter

    Hello,
we are using the Seeburger Adapter. Our reqirement is to receive a X12 850 order and convert it to an IDoc.
Problem now is that some additional fields are required in the X12 message that are beyond standard X12. For example we have some additional classification for order types that are used for additional classification of orders.
Would the Seeburger Adapter be able to do this additional conversion?
Or should we use some already existing fields that we use for additional information?
What would be a recommended approach here?
Thank you very much for your information

Internal Mapping from X12 to IDoc is no problem.
Is BIC MD mapping available for PI adapter too or is this only part of BIC?

  • How can I read non-deleted text messages from months ago without having to continuously press "Load Earlier Messages"?

I never deleted text messages from a specific person in case I ever wanted to go back and look at them. Now months have gone by and I don't feel like continuously pressing "Load Earlier Messages" for hours trying to get back and look at them. Is there anyway I can upload the whole conversation on to my computer and read the entire conversation from the beginning?

    Yes.
    I use iBackupBot.

  • Supressing non work day messages for material requirments on Work orders

Message CN687, pretaining to delivery date of materials takes into account the factory calender/nonwork days of the calender associated to the plant. This message pops up for every material line item on a work order, One could understand how involved it can be if ther are a number of materials on a work order, as you would have to enter passed each warning before continuing.
Is there a way without preforming a mod that will allow us to supress this message on the work order side. Supply chain still wants to see it, however maintenance does not?

    Hi,
As per my understanding your planned order is scheuling for 2 days.Check teh capacity view in the std plang book and check the date on which the capacity is being shown.IF the same is not showing on 15th then the problem is with scheduling not with capacity load.
Also check the factory calendar assigned to resource master data.Check the date 15th on the bucket capacity on resource master SNP bucket capacity view.If the same is showing as working day then the master data needs to be changes.
    Hope this can help.
    regards,

  • Annoying align page error message

    Hi,
I replaced a print cartridge and now every time I turn on the printer it asks to align the page.  I am wasting both paper and ink because of this.  How can I get this message to stop appearing?

    Hello sofelia,
    Which printer do you have?
This could be related to contaminated contact plates on the cartridges or in the carriage. You could try removing the cartridges and then clean the copper plates on the cartridges and in the carriage (do not clean the underside of the cartridges as that might damage the printhead).
With some printers (PSC 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500 series and a few more) you need to scan the alignment page after it's printed. On other printers you can bypass the alignment, see this page for more information:

  • Annoying PPPoE pop-up message using Airport

Even though my airport wireless works great, when browsing or checking email I keep getting a pop-up that says, "Can't find a PPPoE Server". This doesn't affect the operation of anything I am doing and when I close the box everything continues to work fine. How do I keep this annoying pop-up from occurring?
On the left side of the opening screen of Airport Utility, I have "Airport" (selected), "Firewire" (not connected), and "Ethernet" (not connected). When I go to Airport Utility (Advanced Setting), I get to a screen that says, "Connect Using" with the only choices being Ethernet or PPPoE. I choose Ethernet (even though I don't have Ethernet, trying to get rid of the PPPoE pop-up). Below that item it says "Configure Using" and I select "DHCP" (the other choice is "Manually"). Any ideas about shutting off the annoying PPPoE pop-up? Thanks.

I have a Network extreme and 2 network express bases currently (my house is small but loaded wth chimneys lead pipes and water tanks which hamper basic routers). I am getting the same pop up but during the process of my Mac attempting to access the PPoE server there is no internet connection. (it took me 5 minutes to move from a previous page to this page thanks to this recurring process).
Previous to this set up I was using the standard BT infinty router which used to lose the connection frequently. I've even tried connecting the nearest Network Express to the Mac with an ethernet cable but to no avail. I still get frequent 3-5 minute breaks in connection mostly on start up or if the Mac wakes from sleep.
Where is the setting to switch to DHCP only?
Its really beginning to bug me. 2 iPhones and 1 iPad have no probelm connecting to the Network.
