Annoying Piano Sounds.......
Hey all you AA veterans:<br /><br />I am trying to send a midi signal to a Yamaha Motif Rack, which seems to be working just great. The problem is that I have a piano sound from Audition that will just not go away. I've read previous threads but no luck. Here are the conditions in the Sequencer fields:<br /><br />VSTi: <None><br /><br />-->: <None><br /><--: Ch3 (The midi channel for my Motif Rack)<br /><br />Any suggestions? It's a nice sound but.......<br /><br />Thanks in advance!
Midi synth on your soundcard set to same channel or omni?
(just a guess - I'm not a regular midi user)

I am trying to record a meditation from my Macbook Air and an annoying loud sound, like a burp, will suddenly erupt from the MacBook, necessitating I start again. Any ideas on how I may stop this, or what it is??
Click on the blue Internet Recovery in nbar's post. That is a link to what computers can run Internet Recovery.
Do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Reformat the drive using Disk Utility/Erase Mac OS Extended (Journaled), then click the Option button and select GUID. Then re-install the OS.

How to get rid of the annoying clicking sound of an iPod Touch Keyboard
I just got an iPod Touch and I love it but I have a small problem with it. I'm really annoyed by the cliking sound the keyboard makes when you type. It's even more annoying that you can hear it without the headphones.
Is there anyway I can lower down the volume of the clicking? I'd really like some help with this.John Guo wrote:
Go to Settings>General>Sound Effects. Click Off.
As a note, this will remove all of the sounds effects on the iPod, not just the annoying clicking sound. -
How to Stop Annoying Startup Sound
I only run Windows Vista on my MBP, how can i get rid of this annoying startup sound?
Ah, that sound
I only know of apps for OSX to mute that sound, but none for Windows.
But since thar startup sound is mainly used as a 'hint' if something is found during the startup-diagnosis, I personally have left it on.

I am running Logic Pro 9.1.7 on a mid-2011 Intel iMac running OS10.7.4. I use a Roland RD700GX as my midi input keyboard. How can I set up Logic to record The RD700GX's own internal Grand Piano sounds, while retaining the ability to take advantage of Logic 9's midi editing capabilities. I am a relative newcomer to Logic, and I haven't been able to find an answer in The Logic 9 User Manual. A step by step procedure would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Eggie0379Create a new External Midi Track, set the MIDI port to the one being connected to teh RD700. Now,create a new Software Instrument track. Select the external instrument plug-in. Set the MIDI destination and the audio input inside the Plug-in. Now, you can record the MIDI notes and hear the sound of the RD700. Once you've editied, you can bounce the track.

Annoying squeaking sound in itunes
Can someone tell me how to turn off this annoying squeaking sound in itunes? It drives me insane! You hear it whenever you click on a song, album, playlist, etc. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Do you hear the noise when listening to audio in other applications, including QuickTime Player?

[Gnome 3] Annoying system sounds
Hi everybody,
Gnome 3 has been emiting some annoying system sounds since this afternoon update.
I tried to shut them off in the user menu but it didn't work.
Any idea ?
Thanks for your attention.I've started getting annoying pops when changing the volume, both with the keyboard and using the volume icon. Muting system sounds doesn't help.

Annoying notification sound - help figuring out source?
There's any annoying notification sound (sounds like "boop boop") that I consistently here while I'm logged into the network at university. I thought maybe it was a notification every time someone new joined or left the network but I've been watching as people pop up in the list in Finder and the notifications do not coincide with the appearance of people's computers in that list. I don't ever hear the noise at home, so I assume it's something to with being logged into the network at school.
I'm fairly certain it's not related to any app I have installed because I've had almost everything shut down and I still hear it.
Can anyone help me figure this out?Hm, something seems wrong here, but I don't know what. wget ends with the same error, but downloading through FireFox works.
Honestly, I don't know what to fix or how.
Edit: after some more search I see that other also have a problem with this: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=43406 and bug report: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/9299

Hi guys, a new mac user here!
Unfortunately, from the day I started using my macbook pro, I hear a very annoying click sound from my HDD.
You can listen the recorded sound via the link below;
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1526978/20091124%20214842.mp3
If you listen 01:07 and 01:08 seconds of this mp3 file closely in a very silent environment, you will hear the sound.
What do you think about it? Any ideas for this problem?http://www.vimeo.com/8193758
You can watch the video at the address below and hear the sound at 10th, 14th and 20th seconds.
I really want to hear your thoughts about it.

Annoying rattling sound of loose power/lock button
iPhone 5s, 16 GB, iOS 8.0.2
Dear Apple,
I am here to report about the annoying rattling sound that is caused because the power/lock button is loose. At first I just decided to ignore it but after 1 month, it is getting very annoying. It rattles everytime I shake my phone. My phone also doesn't feel solid. Example when I tap the back of my phone, it sounded like some parts in there are missing. I am NOT HAPPY and I don't pay RM 2399 for a phone and still face these problems. I would really appreciate if Apple could replace a new iPhone for me as it is getting very annoying and I cannot stop thinking about it!
Thank you.Welcome to Apple Discussions!
You might want to run the Apple Hardware Test first--it's on Install Disc #1 of the grey discs that came with your computer--boot from the disc by holding down"D". Run the extended version. You could have a problem with either a fan or a thermal sensor. Since you are only hearing one fan, it could be that the other fan isn't working and the right one is running faster to try to compensate.
If you have a fan problem, you will get an error code with "MOT" in it. If a sensor, there will be a "SNS" in the error code.
You can check on the speed of the fans by downloading "iStatPro" from the Apple Site. If the fans are not running at about the same speed, something is definitely wrong.
But I do think you should call Apple about this. It does not sound normal to me. The clicking could be the fan bearing going out. It is not a normal sound.
Good luck! -
Annoying crackling sound on the n96. (not the navi...
Hi, does anyone suffer from the same problem as me? If I listen to music and browse at the same time, there's an annoying crackling sound. It's not noticeable via the speakers, but it is on the headphones and line out. It only does it when I'm connected and browsing via 3g. Using wi fi doesn't cause it. I used to think it was because the phone was struggling to process the music and browsing and so I've waited to see if the new v20 firmware would fix it, but it hasn't.

Hi
I have similar problem. My laptop is connected to TV thru HDMI Cable. Video output on TV is fine, but audio (sound) is coming thru laptop only. Playback device shows "CONEXANT HD SMART AUDIO 221 Speakers" only. I am using WINDOWS 7. Please suggest solution (s).

One core peaking after 10.9.3....annoying clipping sounds
Using a 12 core mid 2010 32GB RAM. This is what my core reader looks like when I'm doing nothing....on a blank session (screenshot). If I start auditioning string samples (Spitfire, 8W Black, Symphobia ect...)that one core peaks causing very annoying clipping sounds. I didn't have this issue on 10.9.2 and after the awesome Logic X update that spread the load across the cores (finally).
Please look into this as I'm sure Im not the only one with this issue. My computer and using Logic X is how i make a living. Freezing every track is the only work around this, for now....Just to follow up: I started looking for things on my MacBook that could have had an impact on this behavior. I could think of three: App Nap, and two third-party products I run, App Tamer and Little Snitch. I turned all three off, and the problem went away. So you'd think I'd found the source of the problem. Well ... over the next couple of days, I turn them back on one at a time, They have all been back on for almost a week now ... and the problem has not recurred.
Meanwhile, my other MacBook - which displayed the same problem, though less frequently - also no longer displays it. (I don't run either of the third-party programs on the other MacBook, and I never changed the App Nap settings. Oh, and it's my work machine and on a completely different network provider I have AT&T at home, it's Verizon at work - so in terms of network connections, the commonality is "The Internet".)
So this has vanished completely as mysteriously as it arrived.

Every time I open a new tab or navigate to a different part of a website I get this annoying zap sound. It only started after my last upgrade. Please tell me how to get rid as its driving me mad. It has nothing to do with add-ons as I've disabled them all.

This so-called "Support desk" on virtual programming
I've been asking support for this game for nearly 3 months, all they do is say "turn on anti-alising" or "We're at the mercy for apple to fix this" for this game flatout 2 which apperently doesn't work with macs 10.7.4 or later (I'm using 10.8/Mounta
