Annoying scrolling back to beginning
I'm editing images from a folder that contains about 300 images. I'm the Develop mode and let's say I'm editing picture 100 of 300, and I don't want that pictue, so I hit delete; and after deleting the photo, Lightroom automatically scrools back to picture #1, at the beginning.
Then I have to scroll back to where I was it's very annoying.
Is there a way to avoid that automatic scrolling back to picture #1?
Mark flags you wish to delete with the Reject flag (X key). Then choose Photo>Delete Rejected Photos to do the final delete.
It gives you a chance to review all rejected photos before committing to the delete.

How can I stopMail messages on my iPad 3 from scrolling back to the top on their own?
When replying to an email message if I scroll down to read a previous message in the thread the screen keeps scrolling back to the top of my reply. I don't recall setting it up to do this. Is there some way to stop it?
It should not do that unless you tap the top of the screen for the quick scroll to the top feature.
You can try quitting the mail app completely and then restart the iPad to see if that helps.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn help - try a reset.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
I seem to have no history as I can no longer scroll back or forward through recent history
When I click on new pages the back one page icon is not lit and I cannot scroll back a page.

How do I get my scroller back help please.
thanks. unfortunately my computer backs up my stuff every time i connect it so the back up didnt have anything on it. becasue i was connecting it and unconnecting it. idk. what to do now. if there was a way to restore it to an even earlier setting i would. if you have any ideas please help?.... thanks so much for your time.

In lion os lost ability to scroll back into folders
In Lion OS have lost ability to scroll back and forth in folders within folders on mouse. Bought Trackpad - still cannot do it. Asked about it at Apple store - even had an employee create multiple folders within folders - could not get the mouse or trackpad to scroll. Had to use back arrows.
I have found the same issue - this is very frustrating and I'm at a lost to understand why this functionality has been removed ... or is it only happening to some systems? Being able to "swipe" through folders was great and the whole "gestures" aspect of Lion was significantly hyped.
Has anyone else found the same problem?

Since updating my ipad2 to iOS 5 the shortcut 'tap top of screen to quickly scroll back to top' no longer functions! How can I get this back?
It still works on my iPad - is it working on any of your apps e.g. Safari, Mail, Notes, and are you touching right at the top of the screen (I've seen a few other posts implying that the area of the screen that you need to touch isn't quite as deep as it used to be) ? Have you tried a reset to see if it works after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I downloaded Mavericks and now when I google a topic and select one, I then cannot scroll back to the original google page if I wish to try a different answer?
Sorry, I'm not very good at describing the problem. If I had multiple browser pages open, prior to downloading Maverick I could swipe the mouse to go back or forward as required. Now if I google a subject and the page comes up with all the choices and I pick one, I now cannot swipe back to the first page , I have to re-open google each time, type in my seach and start from scratch.

the scroll back gesture to the previous page, even after i sign out of my email account or Facebook anyone can still be able to see the content in the accounts just by scrolling back using the gesture. how can i stop safari from showing the content of my accounts?
Try calling Tech Support, they should be able to check to see if theres a lock and try to help you reset it, I had to call and get my account unflagged, for something that I didn't even do.

I want Firefox to not be so wide so I need to scroll back and forth with much needed larger text
I want to have large text, but narrower windows. Every time I need to make text larger for certain sites; it makes my viewing window wider so I have to scroll back and forth to read. I once had an add on to keep the window the same size in width, just with longer windows, which I don't mind. I can't remember what it was called. Therefore I can't find it to download.
Please help.Thanks for the help, Gryllida, I've tried the zooming in/out feature, but it seems to only work on the headers or headlines on some sites; and still the reading text stayed small. I think I'll try the extension instead.
Boy, I do remember using Opera too.
My new computer came yesterday, I'm going to install Ubunbtu instead of windows. It's a barebones kit.

Scrolling back in time more than 24 hours
Hi
YouView box in and working for two weeks with all going well. We are now gradually learning the new functionality & differences between this and a Vision Box with no surprises or disappointments so far.
One small thing to clarify is with the EPG and scrolling back the 7 days to watch/download programmes. It only seems to want to go back to 4 AM this morning and prior to that on all channels states "No information". I understood we should be able to go back 7 days?
I've turned it off & on and rebooted the hub (much to the irritation of the Broadband I fear!) but to no avail.
Any suggestions?

Go to Solution.This isn't the answer you want, but I have had the problem once before, I rebooted the box and it seemed to clear the problem. Can you try restarting just the box once more and see what happens?

ITunes Store window automatically scrolls back to the top of the page

I have a problem that is really quite funny except for the fact that I am so frustrated I could cry.
Computer/software: MacBook OSX 10.4.11 with iTunes 7.6
This just started on my Macbook: I open the iTunes store and when I try to navigate down the page, the second I "let go" of my scroll the window immediately scrolls back to the top of the page. This seems to be happening on all pages in the iTunes store. No other program seems to be affected, neither is my library within iTunes - just the store. This happens when I use the trackpad, the scroll bars and my bluetooth mouse.
I can't get any iTunes content beyond the height of my Macbook window! It is maddening!
I have closed and opened iTunes several times and rebooted twice. Any other ideas?

I had the same problem and im using iTunes 7.6.1 (9)
The problem seems to be related to what kind of firewall your behind.
The network I'm on at the moment is very strict and will not allow anything else than www basicly. So I connected to a different network via VPN and use it as my default gateway. iTunes stops scrolling back after I connect to this network (a restart of iTunes might be needed). And I think this is the only place that iTunes has acted up. Think it works fine at my home lan.

All of a sudden my apple mouse will not scroll down the screen, it will scroll back up but I have to use the slide bar to move down the screen. Has anyone had this problem and how to fix it?

My multi gesture for scrolling back to my library won't work in Lion
When I updated to Lion the multi touch gesture to scroll back to the previous selection won't work anymore. Any help or did apple just not fix this yet?
