Annoying update prompt page

Anyone figure out a way to stop the annoying 3.0 update page from popping up every time I sync my iPod touch? I have no use for the update and don't want it but it only has a "remind me later" button.

I attempted all variations on this theme I could come up with. iSync seems to have little to do with my iPod but I turned off auto update for iTunes. There are no other auto update preferences I could find short of turning off all updates for Leopard. Still need help her folks. Thanks for any suggestions!

Regardless of whether the user utilizes the check for updates features or downloads the update from Apples website, the same process is followed. The existing version of iTunes is uninstalled and the new version of iTunes is installed.

Suppressing update prompts at launch in Muse CC (Mac)

Is there a way to suppress update prompts at launch in Muse CC (Mac)? Our users can't apply them themselves anyway, so all the prompt does is annoy them and generate complaints. Sadly Muse has it's own separate update mechanism that seemingly can't be suppressed when creating our installers in CCP.

I believe this is specific to viewing on a Retina display. Strictly speaking this isn't a compression issue. The display is fuzzy on a Retina display because the images are at the correct resolution for a non-Retina display.
Retina quality images take 4 times longer to download than non-Retina images.
Muse 4.x had a bug that resulted in many cases where Muse would fail to resize the original image data down to the size it was being used at during the export process. If an original camera image was placed in Muse, this bug in 4.x could result in the full multi-megapixel image being uploaded and thus very slow page load times in the browser. We fixed this bug in Muse 5.0 so the images are now being resampled to the size at which they're being used, but in your case you were relying on this bug to get Retina resolution images uploaded.
We're currently evaluating the alternatives for how to enable the behavior you need, without forcing everyone to take the 4x longer page load times associated with Retina images.
If this is a show stopper for you, you can revert ot Muse 4.1 by running the Adobe Muse Uninstaller on the Mac or removing Adobe Muse via the Control Panel on Windows and then install Muse 4.1 from here.

When saving library item, only OPEN pages updating (closed pages not updating)

When I save my library item it only updates the pages that are OPEN and not the ones that are closed. It starts the update process then stops after updating the open pages and never completes the process. I have to click "stop" after a minute or so. Then it prompts me to update the pages again.
How can I get it to update ALL pages associated with the library item?

How to remove an annoying Newsstand prompt?

My Newsstand icon constantly displays an update prompt at the top right - but there's no obvious magazine title indicator telling me which title is being referred to. In spite of opening each publication, the update prompt remains. While this isn't getting in the way of my using the i-Pad... it is annoying. How can I get rid of this prompt?

Infoview Prompt Page for CR2008: SAP/view.do vs CrystalReports/viewrpt.cwr

Hi Experts:
I have some Crystal Reports published in a BOE XI 3.1 repository to access by InfoView. This reports collect data from a BW MDX query and have parameters that the end-users need to inform.
When I view a report by Infoview in my development environment I receive a prompt page thats points to http://<myboeserver>/CrystalReports/viewrpt.cwr.
But when I view the same report in my production environment I receive a diferent prompt page thats points to http://<myboeserver>/SAP/view.do.
I made no specific configuration in any of the servers but I think there must be some setting for this because both servers show different prompt pages for the same report.
I would like to use the same prompt page in both environments and I need to find a way to set to CrystalReports because my end users prefer to use this viewer.
So, where could I make this setting?
Both servers have this system setup:
OS: Windows Server 2003
BOE XI 3.1 SP2 FP 2.9
BOE SAP Integration Kit SP2 FP 2.9

How to Get Rid of those annoying Updates on Home p...

How do you get rid of those annoying UPDATES that appear on my Home Page. In the past I was able to go to VIEW>COMPACT VIEW,then hit DEFAULT then MAXIMIZE and all UPDATES would disappear,infact all ads too and I would only be left with several of my contacts profile pictures at the top. Today I had to change my Password cause I forgot my password and I cant get rid of those updates PASSWORD TOKEN and PASSWORD SUCCESSFULY CHANGED. Nothing works to delete these. Tell me how. Thanks

I am thinking Skype doesn't offer that feature. I "Deleted Contacts" and they will not go away on my home page. It is getting to the point of beyond annoying and traumatic. I want them to go away and I have no power to do that on Skype? I emailed Skype and they simply told me to wait. I just posted like 20 status updates myself, thinking there is a limit. I don't see their faces anymore, but the scroll bar just got shorter.

I just uninstalled it and am waiting for it to reinstall. I sincerely hope that I have not lost everything that I worked on so hard. Now that mobile me is gone, I have not been able to go between devices to transfer things. I was merely trying to take a document I had worked on and open it in pages, but it said my version was too old. When I updated, it wouldn't load. Now I cannot do anything. After updates to Pages and several other applications I received an update to Mavericks 10.9, all of which were downloaded and uploaded to my MacBook Pro. After the uploads I created a document in Pages which I saved to my folder. Now when I try to open it I get a message that says I need the latest version of Pages to open this document. What do I need to do to reload the last update to Pages so I can open my document?

In both cases you have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Judging from sterling r's response Apple has not only managed to confuse all its users, but also itself.
Note: Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Why is my page orientation button not working with the new update to pages?

Since I have updated my pages my print orientation button is not working. amy ideas as to why that is and are ther many people with this problem???

We are all busy with many other problems in Pages 5.
Unless you have found some real reason to use Pages 5 just go back to Pages '09 which should still be in your Applications folder, until Apple sorts this all out.

Well, here's what I found out that works for me...
I had a Pages icon on my dock, and launching it brought up version 4.3. But I went to my Apps folder and found the new updated icon there and when I launced that it brought up version 5.01. So apparently the Apple update process left two versions launchable on my iMac. Weird...

It sounds to me as though you are attempting to open a Pages 09 document with the Pages 08 application. If you do have Pages 09 on your computer, it may be that for some reason an existing Pages 08 application is invoked accidentally.

With IOS Pages v2.0 and v2.1, Apple introduced a new document format that is incompatible with prior Pages versions on IOS or OS X Pages ’09. Opening older documents with these recent versions of Pages will permanently prevent the document from opening in earlier versions of Pages on IOS or OS X.

There is no undo of an iTunes application update, short of forcing iTunes to restore IOS v6 back on that iPad 2. Even if you did that, you won't find the IOS Pages v1.7.2 in the iTunes store now.
IOS Pages v2+ will allow you to export content in Word .docx format. You do this by first tapping the box with an up-arrow in it (next to the left-most +). A menu will slide up — choose Send a Copy. Select a document icon. Pick Mail, and then Word. Your Pages v2.1 document will now be converted to Word .docx, and attached to an email body. Fill in the to address and send.

All apps are always tied to the account from whaich they were purchased and will always have to be updated using that account.
Just because the e-mail account is shut down, has nothing to do with the itunes account. Why did you create a new account? Why not just change the e-mail associated with the old account?

Before the reset quit Pages like this:
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.
