Annoying voice control .. HELP D;
hey , my iphone 5s fell into some water and now the home buton is not work correctly. The voice control and siri things are getting really annoying and i went into setting to disable siri but voice control is still turning on. Some one help me please :cc
Voice control is not an 'app' - it doesn't appear on the home screen. You access that function by pressing and holding the home button.

Try resetting it: Hold the home butting + lock button for 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

My iPod is a 3rd generation used iPod I bought at Gamestop this past January. At first, it was working great, but roughly around August and September did it start it's annoying "voice control" thing along with it messing with the headphone jack. I think I destroyed the jack, and maybe have broken something inside after toying with it repeatedly to get it to work, but all my iPod is good for now is a paper weight and for the apps. I can't listen to a song with out it going to voice control, or the headphone jack fizzing in and out. I've gone through maybe three pairs of headphones trying to get it to work properly and headphones aren't the cheapest things ever. My ipod is up to date, I've had to reset it constantly, week after week it seems like, but nothing seems to fix the problem. I'm getting so infuriated, that I might just break down to purchase a new one, or to give up on it completely and revert back to the iPod nanos. At least those didn't give me any issues when I used it.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

It is very likely the jack is causing the VC problem since VC uses the jack for input. -

My Iphone 4 32GB started having this issue when I downloaded the 2 last 6.1.X... VOICE CONTROL pops-up even when I sleep and calls random people just by the sound of the snoring... in FACETIME even more annoying. I confirm that it does this day and night
Turn off Voice Control.
Otherwise, basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). -

are you talking about voiceover where the phone is reading things out loud to you? you have to double tap things in voiceover in order to select them. you'll need to go to settings > general > accessibility > and turn off voiceover there

If you mean that you want to license and obtain the programming code to Siri from Apple so that you can use it in your own devices, that will almost certainly not be possible. Apple almost never licenses their exclusive technologies to others. You can try writing their corporate office:

and inquiring, but I would wager that you will not even receive a reply, much less have Apple be interested in licensing the Siri technology to you. You may have better luck talking to Nuance about their voice recognition technology:

- Sometimes triple clicking the Home button will allow normal access so yu can turn it of is Settings>General>Accessability. -
iPhone 4 gone mad voice control taken over phone, can't get past my screen lock it won't respond at all, keeps dialling random people won't do anything at all!!! Have you tried to power off and on? If that doesn't work and the reset didn't work, have you tried connecting to iTunes to see if it is recognized?
If none of this works you probably need to visit an Apple genius bar and have it checked out by the techs. -
I recently got an eiPhone and I believe it's a 4s and can't seem to Find Siri it has voice control bit I don't think it's the same. Any help ? It's not in settings or restrictions .

I woke up to my iPhone with a plug in picture to ITunes. I did a back up and restore according to the instructions on ITunes. I now lost all my apps, my voice control goes on automatically and my screens are switching by themselves even during texting....HELP Please! What is the next step before I throw this thing through the window?
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

Help!! iPhone 4 Voice Control and screen lock
Hi. I have an iPhone 4 and this morning out of the blue, the Voice Control started coming on. It doesn't matter what I am doing. Also, the screen keeps locking up. Any screen I am on. I do not use ear buds and it hasn’t been wet. Please help
I tried the reset and it did not work. What happens is I will go to an app. (Like now I am in the text messaging app). I am stuck here. I can reply, create a message, and maneuver through the texting screens, but I am stuck in text messaging until I turn it off... Then, when I restart and go to any other app, I get the same thing.
Then there is the voice command. The thing that allows you to speak a command, such as call office, or facetime... It pops up randomly.
All of this started this morning. I haven't dropped it, gotten it wet, or anything. I don't understand.
