Annoyuing Antimalware Doctor pop up. How do I get rid of it.

While in any application on line I am interuped with this annoying Antimalware Doctor pop up. Did Firefox send it? How do I get rid of it?

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.<br />
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

how can I get rid of cannot verify server identity pop up on my new 3rd generation ipad?

A [http://www.google.com/search?q=Brookwood+Internist+Birmingham&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a Google search] shows the website, but it still doesn't load - it shows the Go-Daddy '''Want to buy this domain?''' page.
Using a DNS Lookup for that domain - http://68.178.232.100/ doesn't load that web site either. It shows '''This site is not currently available.'''
Might be a server problem where that website is hosted, a DNS problem, or an expired domain name ''(but when that happens the message is usually '''expired registration''')''.
Call your doctors office Monday morning and tell them that their website won't load. It's something that their webmaster needs to look into, along with their web hosting service ''(which I guess is Go-Daddy)''.

  • When I go to type a name or number from my contacts on my iPhone 4, next to the "To:" box, a picture that was previously in my photo library pops up, how can I get rid of this bug?

Exactly how it sounds, my mother in law is having troubles with her iPhone. When she types anything into the "To:" box, this photo, previously in her photo library, pops up.

    Hello Rchrdrvr94,
I would suggest 3 things here. First if you haven't already, Restart the iPhone with tis procedure from
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
    Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If that does not resolve the issue, then I recommend closing all the apps.
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the - to close it.
Double-click the Home button and try opening the app again.
And if that fails to resolve the issue, then I suggest backing up and restoring your iPhone with iTunes.

    All the best,

  • This is now popping up, how do I get rid of it? xmlNode.getElementsByTagName("id")[0].firstChild is null - 2

This pops up whenever I go into gmail

This could well be the notorious Mac Defender - which is an annoying program that tricks you into thinking that your Mac is infected with a virus, when the only infection is Mac Defender itself.
When surfing the web never EVER click on a link that says "Free anti-virus scan" or "Scan now" - they are nearly always scams which will end up infecting your computer.  Although Macs are resistant to viruses, they're not resistant to user stupidity.
If you Google "Mac defender" then you'll find plenty of sites with instructions on how to remove this minor nuisance.  Take this as a warning that you need to be more careful in your surfing habits.

  • Adobe Flash Player pop-up, how do I get rid of it forever?

Ho do I rid my computer of the Adobe Flash Player pop-up?

I'm going to make an assumption based on scarce information.
The update alerts are fake, and are intended to dupe you into installing malware or disclosing private information so that your identity can be stolen.
You might get the alerts when visiting a website that has been hacked. Don't visit the site again. If applicable, notify the site administrator of the problem, but don't send email to an unknown party.
If you get the alerts when visiting more than one well-known website, such as Google, YouTube, or Facebook, then they're almost certainly the result of an attack on your router that has caused you to get false results from looking up the addresses of Internet servers. Requests sent to those sites are redirected to a server controlled by the attacker. It's possible, but less likely, that the DNS server used by your ISP has been attacked, but you should assume that the router is at fault until proven otherwise.
The router's documentation should tell you how to reset it to the factory default state. Usually there's a pinhole switch somewhere in the back. It may be labeled "RESET." Insert the end of a straightened paper clip or a similar tool and press the button inside for perhaps 15 seconds, or as long as the instructions specify.
After resetting the router, quit the web browser and relaunch it while holding down the shift key. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Do the equivalent if you use another browser. Open the Downloads folder and delete anything you don't recognize.
Then go through the router's initial setup procedure. I can't be specific, because it's different for every model. The key points are these:
    1. Don't allow the router to be administered from the WAN (Internet) port, if it has that option. Most do.
    2. Set a strong password to protect the router's settings: at least ten random upper- and lower-case letters and digits. Don't use the default password or any other that could be guessed. Save the password in your keychain. Any password that you can remember is weak.
    3. If the router is wireless, or if you have a wireless access point on the network, use "WPA 2 Personal" security and set a different strong password to protect the network. If the router or access point doesn't support WPA 2, it's obsolete and must be replaced.
During the time the router was compromised, you were redirected to bogus websites. If you ever connected to a secure site and got a warning from your browser that the identity of the server could not be verified, and you dismissed that warning in order to log in, assume that your credentials for the site have been stolen and that the attacker has control of the account. This warning also applies to all websites on which you saw the fake update alerts.
Check the router manufacturer's website for a firmware update.
If you downloaded and installed what you thought was a software update, ask for instructions.

How do I get rid of excessive pop up ads?   When on the internet they always pop up.  I think I have a virus.

You probably have some kind of adware installed, assuming that your Mac is not actually running OS 9 or earlier (systems that date back to the 90s). I'm assuming that the forum choice was an error, as I doubt such an old system would even be capable of properly displaying modern websites. What version of Mac OS are you actually running? (Go to the Apple menu and choose About This Mac.)
Assuming you're actually running some version of Mac OS X, see my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing the adware.

  • How do I get rid of the pop-up on my ipad2 that wants me to login to iCloud for an account i changed to a new userid?

How do I get rid of the pop-up on my ipad2 that wants me to login to iCloud for an account i changed to a new userid?
It is an iPad 2, 64GB, with wifi and 3G, running the latest iOS 8.1.2, with 43.7 GB available. I am not using the cloud. Everything I need is backed up, so loss of the information on this device is not critical.
About 2 years ago I canceled this account and created a new one when I abandoned my road runner email and change to gmail. Tech support talked me through the transition then and it is fine on all my devices (iPhone, Mac-mini, Macbook Air) except the iPad 2, which i use the most. The same thing happened to my mothers iPad 3 a few months ago, with the same repeating pop-up after changing email/appleid accounts), Apple support helped me restore hers, but mine is no longer a covered device.
This issue started about a year ago, I can cancel the pop-up but it continues to returns, it went away for a few months, then somewhere in the last few months it started happening daily, now it cycles through about every 5 - 15 seconds. Can't do anything, I have reset the iPad 2 all that did was delete my existing settings, it will not accept the old password all I can do is cancel it (until it returns again).
Need the directions to delete the old appleid and accept the new applied on this device.

    Does this apply?

  • HT204053 I created a new apple id because the previous one no longer exists as email (domain had to be cancelled). I keep seeing the old one pop up in my iPhone for which I don't remember the password. How can I get rid of it???

I created a new apple id because the previous one no longer exists as an email (domain had to be cancelled). I keep seeing the old one pop up in my iPhone for which I don't remember the password. How can I get rid of it??? Or how can I reset the password if the email doesn't exist??? I also tried answering a question (my date of birth) but it says it's wrong.
I'm really frustrated with the apple id!!!
    Frustrated!!!

In one of the help pages for managing your Apple ID (http://support.apple.com/kb/HE40), it shows two separate sections, one for Apple ID and one for Primary Email address. When I go to manage my Apple ID, I see only a single section for both. Can the two be 'separated', especially when you face the situation of having to discontinue your email address for some reason?
I also noticed that when navigating to Apple ID Support Communities, it shows my nickname 'dishdy'. How and when did I insert this? In the current sequence for creating an Apple ID I don't see this. In my current profile I don't see this.
In any case, I have freed myself from my previous Apple ID (@artemis.it) on my iPhone.
    Thanks for your help.

  • TS3230 i get a pop-up window saying the current version of Safari does not support the community toolbar.  How do I get rid of this?

i get a pop-up window saying the current version of Safari does not support the community toolbar.  How do I get rid of this?

You need to uninstall the Community / Conduit toolbar add-on.
Locate the files in bold print and move them to the Trash. The first five are in your root   /Library
    /Library/Application Support/Conduit
    /Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
    /Library/ScriptingAddtions (anything CTLoader realted)
    /Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
    /Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
The next one is in your Home folder.
    ~/Library/Application Support/Conduit
    When you're done, try Safari.

  • A pop up window saying Java Runtime Environment keeps coming up. How do I get rid of it?

How do i get rid of a pop up window that asks me to run Java Runtime Environment?

If you're referring to a Mac and not an iPad, then most likely, you have a web plugin that depends on the Java runtime distributed by Apple, such as the Facebook video calling plugin or the "NexDef" plugin for watching baseball streams. If you no longer need the plugin, remove it, including its automatic update mechanism (if any) according to the developer's instructions. Otherwise, install Java.
