Anonymous Login in EP6.0 SP2....Please Help

I am currently working on SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0 SP2.
I am trying to create anonymous content using Simple Anonymous Logon method (i.e without using any logon ticket).
As per the instructions given in help.sap.com, I tried the following steps:
1. Created a new Portal Launcher iView
2. Also created an iView containing some data (text).
3. Set ume.login.anonymous_user.mode = 0 (where 0 is for simple anonymous logon & 1 for named anonymous method).
4. Have replaced the previous path in location.replace with the current path of (my) portal launcher iView, using the syntax as given in help (: replaced with !3a and / with !2f).
But this did not work.
5. Then, replaced the above given path in location.replace with the path of my another iView containing data (mentioned in point 2), but this did not work either.
In either of the above steps (4 & 5), I dont get an error but receive the same loginpage as before.
Dont understand whether it has worked or not...Cant find any difference....?
Am I missing any step(s) here.....?
On discussing the same with my collegaue, he said that I have to follow the steps with point 4.
If this is so, kindly let me know how can I customize anonymous/static data for this anonymous login?
Do I need to customize some code in the my Portal Launcher iView....?
Please help me.......

since the mail service is migrated to yahoo, I can't log into my e-mail because my username contains a wrong caracter (specific ".").
The problem is that ovi mail is my principal e-mail and I can't read e-mail aprox 20 days.

hi! i am trying to sign-in my yahoo account to yahoo mail using the nokia mail application. however it keeps on telling me that i entered an invalid uid abd pwd. i tried signing in using the regular way and i was able to log-in. i do have the same account for my ovi but it does the same thing too. both i use the email above...please help me with this. thanks.

Facebook login issues on iphone 5 - please help

When I login to facebook on my iphone 5 it goes to my page and then instantly logs out with this message 'Session Expired' 'Please log in again' In the background of this messge i can see my page but I cannot access it, this happens repeatedly and won't let me into my facebook. I have not been able to access my sight for weeks now. Can anyone help?

You have no choice but to restore iOS using iTunes, then restore your last backup.

Maverick update now my login screen does not work please help.

Hello hope you can help. I have a 24 inch Mid 2007 Intel iMac. It has been great until now. I recently did the Maverick update and now my login screen does not work. When I wake the computer up the screen appars with my picture icon. When I click on it nothing happens. If I click on it a second or third time the beach ball appears and nothing happens. I have to shut the unit down with the power button and when the unit powers back up everything works normally. Are there any suggestions out there? I have updated the software without resolution. Is this computer too old? Do I have to buy a new one?

Your iMac can support Mavericks according to the requirements > OS X Mavericks: System Requirements
Try a Safe Mode boot. That deletes some system caches that may help.
Startup your Mac in Safe Mode
A Safe Mode boot takes much longer than a normal boot so be patient.
Once you are in Safe Mode, click Restart from the Apple () menu.
See if there's an improvement for the login screen.

Hi, is there anybody help me fix this , I don't know what happened to this WFE Server，（thers is Multiple servers in my server farm，the others is working but this server, I have installed  the sp2 patch on all servers)
, the product version is 14.7015,when I run the sharepoint configuration wizard,the error detail as below:
   office web apps web web front end compents missing on "servername"
       sp2 for office web apps ...                        missing on "servername"
I have checked the product version and there is nothing during install sp2 for sharepoint , sp2 for office web apps,I have no idea, maybe i can remove this server ,is there any other better way?

I'm having the same problem - although I'm on Windows 7 now.

I haven't tried it out yet as my registry is named CSD Version (maybe a typo?), and the value is hex = 0...

I have just made 2 new bad discoveries: Logged in via the newly created Me2 account, I can not duplicate files and not re-name folders on the external data disk. So this account is almost worthless, too ... This nightmare must end !!!

I am working on EP6 SP4 and trying to implement anonymous login process.
I read the help giving the implementation process but I have a query abt the same:
1> As given in the Help Pages, we have to set the former index.html to the iView URL in the location.replace attribute.
2> There would also be a link for authorized users wherein the authorized persons may use the Portal as before using their username & password resp.
3> My Query ==> When an authorized user logins into Portal, internally would the changed index.html be set back to the default index.html. That is, location.replace = actual default Portal location.
If true, how would the anonymous process behave the next time????
I would appreciate if you would please help me solve this query. I am trying to find the solution since 2 days but failed.......

As rightly pointed out , you cannot get the plan value for 9 days if you do not have 0calday. However some things you can do...
1. Have a virtual KF which gets the number of days from the current calendar day ( system date ) to the first date of the month - this can be written with a simple exit since the first date is fixed.
2. calculate the plan value from that - pro rated plan value = plan value for month / number of days in month * number of days elapsed. If need be have the virtual KF return the ratio of number of days elapsed/number of days in the month
3. Now you can do the comparison assuming that the value of actuals will be till the current date and not beyond.
This is assuming that you can write a Virtual KF and the number of records is less enough to avoid any performance issues

Cant login please help

Running power mac, latest version of Tiger
When it boots and login screen appears I cant. The mouse and keyboard work fine, but the computer will not click the user names to bring up the password box. When I mouse over the login names its like they are not there. So I cant use the computer at all. I tried keyboard also and it wont work. Same results booting up in safe mode. Its like it gets to the point of login and locks up. Please help

If you are asking what happens when you delete an iCloud backup, it only deletes the backup from your account. It won't do anything to the data on your phone or in your iCloud account. If you don't need to backup you can delete it. (If you no longer want to back up your phone to iCloud, turn iCloud backup off in Settings>iCloud>Backup. Then your phone will back up to your computer each time you sync it with iTunes.)

1 second "Play / Pause" lag - please help me!!

Hi all, in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, After Effects and Soundbooth for that matter, whenever I press "play" on the timeline, there is a 1 second pause/lag before the footage starts playing.
For editing, this is a nightmare, obviously you want precision when you edit and i have no idea what is causing this on these products.. please help if you can.
Imagine if when you are typing a reply, there's a one second lag between when you press a key on the keyboard and when it gets shown on the monitor, that's what it feels like right now.
When I press spacebar again to STOP, it STOPS just like normal. There is no lag. However - when I press spacebar again to start it playing, everytime, a one-second pause.
I have installed Sony Vegas, there is no play/pause lag at all. so it MUST be a setting or tweak within Adobe Premiere that can fix this.. please..!
My settings are well over requirements, I also wondered if it was "pre-roll", but changing that and "post-roll" to 0.00 seconds from 2.00 seconds did nothing. still the lag.
i also pushed DirectX sound acceleration from FULL to Standard, did nothing. still lag.
So here are my specs:
Intel Quad Core, 4x 3.2ghz,
2gb DDR2 RAM,
768mb 8800 GTX,
500gb 7200rpm hard drive,
Windows XP Professional SP2,
please help me if you have an answer.. is there a simple play setting i'm missing? some sort of hidden buffer i need to set to 0 instead of 1?
it must be something within Adobe, because Vegas' timeline plays with no lag or pause at all.. but I NEED my Premiere Pro..!

I have just discovered a solution that seems to remedy this problem on my system. Though it is likely very specific to my configuration, I thought I'd pass along what I found. Perhaps it will be of direct help to someone and/or spark a thought about what the actual underlying cause might be.
I have Computer Associates CA Anti-Virus on this system. This program has a feature that lets you put real-time virus scanning to "sleep" for up to 999 minutes. If I put CA Anti-Virus to sleep, and then launch Premiere Pro CS3, the project loads much faster and all the playback pauses/delays disappear. So, putting CA to sleep is now part of my routine before launching Premiere Pro CS3. When I do this, the program is usable.
Interestingly, during the project loading delay and during the playback delays, there was absolutely no disk activity on any drive, and Task Manager showed that Premiere Pro CS3 was taking 100% of the CPU. The CA Anti-Virus services are running but effectively show 0% CPU time. So whatever is happening (in-memory scanning of the loaded files, perhaps?) is being fully charged to Premiere and not to the antivirus scanner.
Also, it's interesting to note that the exact same antivirus software in its fully-enabled (non-sleepy) state has no such effect on either Premiere Pro 1.5 or Premiere 6.0 on the exact same system. When antivirus is fully enabled (not asleep), neither of these older Premieres have any delays in loading or playing back.
Based on what I have read in the forums, it sounds like there are likely multiple issues that lead to these delay problems. In any case, the behavior is a pretty serious regression in Premiere, and Adobe should add this scenario to their regressions testing suite.

Am trying Portal Anonymous Login using EP7 SP9 Sneak Preview.

1. Have added 2 users in the UME Property using configtool - anon1,anon2
2. Created a simple PCD Role and assigned a URL iView to it. Changed it authenticationscheme property to Anonymous.
3. Assigned this role to Anonymous Users Group.
Problem:
1. When I access URL http://rp1677:50100/irj/portal/anonymous, am asked for authentication? Why?
2. The anonymous user group contains user Guest. When am trying to add users- anon1 & anon2 into this group, I get an error saying - You are not authorized to assign one or more entities. Perform a new assigned entities search to see the correct status
Am doing this entite process using the administrator login.
Please guide.

Normally, when you connect via http, the browser doesn't check for site identity, so I don't understand what's happening there.
Do you have any security-related add-ons that force popular sites to use a secure connection, or claim to provide anonymous browsing?
Were you making the connection on your own network or on a public network (e.g., school, coffee shop)? If it was a public network, maybe the error indicates that your traffic was being intercepted???
Without hands on, this is a tough one to diagnose.

i used a correctly formatted drive for the driver downloads, they seemed to install but now i have no input method to login to wondows7.
all is fine in osx apple wireless mouse keyboard magicpad ok
windows cant login due to no input devices.
have connected logitech mouse keyboard still nothing.

1. I have tried copying the Keyboard/Trackpad/Mouse drivers to the $WinPEDriver$ directory with mixed success on a 2012 MBP.
2. My experience is based on a 2013 rMBP. You may be able to use an Apple USB Keypad/Mouse to better success.
3. See http://www.macworld.com/article/2460820/macbook-pro-mid-2014-review-minor-update -offers-slightly-better-cpu-performance.html for HW differences between the two machines.
4. If you have access to a 2013 rMBP, I can suggest trying to build the USB on that and working with the USB to see if you can make it install Windows. the rMBP 2014 and rMBP 2013 have the same HW, except some CPU changes. You can also try building the USB at the nearest Apple store, if possible.
5. There is a section in AutoUnattend.xml, which is supposed to install all drivers in $WinPEDriver$ (see this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2686316 )
