Another check box question

For some reason all my songs have become unchecked. I don't know why. Is there an easy way to recheck them all. Rather than having to click in every box? It seems that because the aren't checked Genius will not recognize them. They were all working until today.

To answer your question. It depends on if you had <iTunes/Preferences/Advanced/Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library> checked. If the files were copied then you have duplicates and the files on the desktop can be deleted. If the files were not copied then the files on the desktop ARE your music files.

How can I make a check box active ONLY if another check box is activated?
I have an editable PDF for a client, which contains text fields and check box fields.
There are three main check boxes (let's call them A, B and C) that the user is required to choose from, and I have given all three the same name in the Name tab of the General tab menu but different export values in order that ONLY one of the boxes can be checked at any time. Ticking one will deactivate another if it is already checked, etc.
However, I then have a further two check boxes which I wish to become available ONLY if the second one of the above three boxes is checked. Other than that I do not wish the user to have access to them.
I'm guessing it requires some kind of Action Script or Javascript, which is not my forté! Any help would be much appreciated.

Check Box Question

Hi everyone. Quick question. I am curious if there is a way for my iTunes to shuffle and play songs that do not have the box checked. I like to keep certain songs/albums unchecked so I can switch up what's on my iPhone, but still have the ability to shuffle through while listening on my laptop. Thanks in advance.

No this is exactly how unchecking is supposed to work. Unchecked songs wil not sync or play as part of a playlist.
If you want to add new music to your device set up a Smart playlist with the correct criteria and sync that.

Radio Button or Check Box Group

Hi,
I built a form based on a query. There is a flag column, only one of queried records is allowed to be "Y" in this column. The rests must be null.
Most ideal thing is to have a radio button group, only one of them can be selected.
Another way is to have a group of check boxes also allow only one checked. Once another check box is selected, the previously selected box must be unchecked.
Does anybody have idea of how to do it?

You have the save the number of the current ("checked") record in your data block.
After that you can launch a trigger which will scan every record in your data block (there are enough built-ins like FIRST_RECORD, LAST_RECORD, NEXT_RECORD, Current_record property, etc.)to allow you to do this. The trigger will set the check item property to "unchecked" if it is not the saved "checked" record.

For Exam My requirement is I am getting BAPI from ECC System. So I have to go given input details in first view and output details in Second View. So in Second View I will taken Table that data will displayed in rows. each and every row first check box is available.
Here Select Check Box of particular row then click Edit button. That row data will be displayed in one popup window.

Your question is not clear enough to give an answer. Do you have some difficulties with the code for opening a popup-window? There are many-many examples in the forum how to open/close a popup.
Or you do not know how to bind the popup opening with clicking a check box? Just put the code in the onSelect event handler of the check box.

How do I create a check-box matrix question using Acrobat XI Pro?

I would like to insert a question that is a 10 x 10 matrix that allows respondents to select multiple boxes in each row. For example, the "add item > rating scale" feature formats a matrix the way I would like, although it only seems to allow for radio buttons. With this feature, respondents can only select one item per row. Is there any way to use this feature with check-boxes rather than radio buttons? Or a different feature to create a matrix that allows for multiple selections per row?

I created a 30 page Form in Microsoft Word with 20 to 30 check boxes on each page using the Zapf Dingbats Font.
When I used Acrobat XI Pro to automatically convert the form it fails to create usable check boxes.
It worked properly about 3 times on test pages but it will not do it again.
Manually inserting check boxes one by one on 30 pages is mind numbing to say the least.
Why doesn't the software work properly anymore?

Passing column values to another tab if check box selected in that row

I have the following requirement.
I have a table that gets populated by a web service. Have added one more field to it which is a check box. Th requirement is that I need to pass the values of column (say id) from each row which has it's check box selected, as input parameters to a web service in another tab.
example: table has fileds id, name, address,checkbox. If there are 5 rows and the user select 1 and 2 then I need the ids of 1 and 2 to be passed to another tab.
Is this possible ........

I don't believe this aspect may be controlled by a Design Template. Probably because this is an aspect that may vary from question to question. It deals with question functionality as opposed to simple visual elements.
If you feel strongly this should be considered as part of a Design Template function, I might suggest you put it forward to Adobe.

Referencing Check Boxes on Another Form

From one form, I want to reference the rows that have been checked on another form.
The Process
I have a form with many items/rows. Each item/row has a check box and Unique Id on this form. I would like to click multiple check boxes indicating the rows I want to work with. When I click a button, I would like to open a new form with only those items I have checked.
While I have lots of documentation, I am so new I am not sure where to look.

Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

How to disable one check box when another is checked

Hi, I'm a first time user.
i am trying to make text fields appar and dissapaer when check boxes are ticked. but only alow one check box to be active at one time.
I am making a simple form in Acrobat pro 9,
I have two check boxes Checkbox1 & Checkbox2.
I have two text fields Textfield1 & Textfield2
i have added actions to checkbox1 & checkbox2 to 'hide or show' the text fields.
Action --> on focus (checkbox1) show/hide field (textfield1) is hide
Action --> on focus (checkbox1) show/hide field (textfield2) is show
oposite
Action --> on focus (checkbox2) show/hide field (textfield2) is hide
Action --> on focus (checkbox2) show/hide field (textfield1) is show
problem 1 - how to disable checkbox1 when checkbox 2 is ticked.
or disable checkbox2 when checkbox1 is ticked.
my other problem is that this action has the same effect for ticking or unticking the checkbox.

First, I would experiment with just check boxes and learn their properties and how they can interact.
Have you tried using the same name for 2 check boxes and assign a different "export value" to each check box.
Have you looked at the values a check box or boxes have when checked or un-checked?
Have you looked at how the various actions for a field work?

Check Box/ItemListener question

I'm trying to create a GUI for a program that I've been working on for some time. In the program, various sections can be run depending on what variables are present in the input file AND whether or not certain previous sections have been selected to run. I'm trying to represent this with a menu comprised of check boxes, where if the proper sections have been selected other boxes become enabled accordingly. I tried to get this behavior simply by saying in itemStateChanged() that if stp1bt3 is selected and stp1bt1 has just been selected, to enable stp2bt1. For some reason, stp2bt1 isn't enabled whenever I try this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm sure it's something very small that I have to add to this. Here is the code I have:

How to pass the check box values from one view to another view

Hi Experts,
I have a selection screen view which consists of check boxes.
WBS System status.
Release                      Completed                  Closed as 3 check boxes.
Note : The above ones are check boxes.
Based on the selection made by the user, those values needs to be passed to second view which retrieves the data and
displays the data accordingly.
At the same time if the user does not make any selection, then WBS System status should contain Released, Completed and Closed values and that needs to be sent to Second view.
Kindly advise.

1 in side ur component controller , under the ATTRIBUTES tab , make 3 attributes say attr1 , attr2 and attr3 of type WDY_BOOLEAN

Check box to copy text from 1 field to another

I am trying to use a check box to copy the tech from a billing address text box to a shipping address text box only if the check box is checked.
I am new to using java and building forms in acrobat so please understand.

Well you cannot use Java within a PDF form. PDF forms use JavaScript which is very different form Java.
Have you opened the JavaScript console for the form and looked to see if there are any errors?
You syntax for the "if' statement is wrong.
The method for obtaining a field object is 'getField" not "getfield".
Field names should be within quotations marks to indicate the item is a text string and not a variable name.
Any time one needs to access a property of a field, like "value", one needs to use the field object for the named field and not the name of the field.
