Another Day of NASCAR, still no Fox Sports 2

Here we are again with another day of NASCAR - this time the lead series (Sprint Cup), with both practice sessions being shown on Fox Sports 2. How can Comcast be ignoring this?

Fox Sports West HD and Prime Ticket HD - What is the point?

Why is there so little HD content on the LA area Fox Sports channels? If you are a Laker fan, it is great, otherwise it is hit or miss. Most of the Ducks home games are not broadcast in HD and we had to watch the first two playoff games against San Jose in SD when the great Versus HD coverage was blacked out. The Angels games are a little better situation, but even they aren't always in HD (especially the away games). This is 2009 right? I imagine that every sporting event out there is being shoot with HD cameras. Is Fox just cheap?
And even when there are games in the HD channels, half the time they don't even so up in the guide. Why is that?

Yes, Fox Sports is "cheap". Apparently it is an extra $20K or so to produce the game in HD. In a market like L.A., hockey doesn't garner the ratings (and by extension advertising revenue) to jusitfy the added expense. Fox Sports West is a business, so if they can not come up with the extra revenue, they are not going to pay the added expense.
There is still also the issue of the new master control facility in Houston is not quite running at 100% (at least from what I can put together on the web). All of the local FSN feeds are run through this facility, and it is still bandwidth limited. Therefore, FSN must prioritize which games game HD bandwidth and which ones don't. Red Wings make Fox tons of money, Kings and Ducks don't.
I did read that FSNW and PT are going to try to produce at a minimum all of home games in HD next season. I'll believe it when I see it.
I would be happy if FSW and PT had a better SD signal. It looks like Fox compresses West and PT's SD feed to about 512 bits/sec.

I just checked your account; you have two subscriptions to Acrobat Pro (one purchased on October 1, and another purchased today). As no serial number is required to use your subscription, you should be able to download and install Acrobat, and then sign in and use it. If you're getting a specific error when you try to install or sign in to Acrobat, please let us know, and we'll get it sorted out.
Ad for you having multiple subscriptions, I would suggest that you Contact Customer Care and ask that you have one canceled/refunded (unless, of course, you need both of them).

Calendar shows entries from another day

Hi. My wife has an issue with her Z10 calendar after the last OS upgrade (now using the last official SW version 10.2.0.424). Her Z10 is configured with one Gmail account (with 2 calendars in it) and with one Facebook calendar. If she looks in the calendar (f.e. month view) and when switching between the days to look at the entries overview in this days, the calendar stars suddenly to show in a day entries from another day. Its very annoying. She has to close the calendar, start it again, than its correct again. But after a moment it starts again to do the same problem. We tried to restore the factory settings and restore the backup, but it didnt help. Do you have the same problem or do you know how to solve this issue, please?

I would to do the factory reset, but before restoring the backup, try the calendar(s) to see if the behaviour still there. It maybe some corruption in the setting that is the cause, and when you restored the settings it may have restores the corrupt one as well.

What Happened to Fox Sports World?

Fox sports word was awesome(584)...how can you take away the only channel dedicated to soccer with the World Cup next year(remember the World Cup ratings)? We have millions in this country who love soccer and want to watch worldwide highlights (not just premier league). Remove 1 of the other Million channels you have.

Not sure if you are asking what Verizon did with the channel or what Fox did with the channel. In any event, FSC no longer exists, and that was a decision by Fox, not Verizon. FSC is no longer available and has been converted to FXX, an off-shoot of the FX channel.
FSC went away for several reasons, but most notably, when Fox lost the English Premier League package to NBC, a good portion of their most popular content went away. Also, FSC doesn't have MLS (NBC), nor does it have the U.S. Men's National team games either (ESPN for now and beIn for away games except for Mexico). Fox doesn't have the World Cup next year (it does get the 2018 and 2022 versions), so it appears Fox made the decision to pull the plug. It is likely that when Fox gets the World Cup, it will broadcast games on other cable stations that it owns.
While beIn is not a dedicated soccer channel, it broadcasts a lot of soccer, so you may want to look into that channel, which is available on the Ultimate tier or through the Sports Pass package. Also, NBC Sports has MLS and the Premier League, so you can still get a lot of soccer.

Try running Pandora in its own tab and leaving that tab open (Safari 7.1.5, OS 10.9.5). I don't have Pandora to try this, but it works for me otherwise.

I don't mean the ability to see what tabs are open on another device (I know how to do this). But if I am at work and find something that I want to read at home, it would be helpful to 'send' the tab to my home PC so that when I return home, it will automatically open that tab for me.

Day 5 - Backup still doesn't work on ipad2 ??????

After 5 days I am still unable to backup my ipad2. I continue to get a message stating "There is a problem completing the backup. Please try again later"

Yes.
Simply right click on Lion Installer icon on dock and choose "Pause". When. Ack, click there again and resume it.

Fox Sports Gametrax for football doesn't load, starts to show picture and then screen goes blank ... baseball gametrax is fine in Firefox

When I go to Fox Sports in Firefox and click on a football game, the Gametrax begins to load on a page ... showing the field and starting to show more and then it stops and goes blank. Gametrax for a baseball game works just fine. I have updated my version of Firefox to see if that fixes it and it did not.

I don't get channel 1748 fox sports MO.

I'm very frustrated about why I don't get channel 1748? I live in KS and I paid for fox sports MO so that I can watch my hometown Cardinals play. I can watch the post show and the pre show and that's it. It just says this channel is blocked out in my area.
When I called about this problem the guys said its because I should go to the stadium and watch it.
I can go to the channel fox sport KS and can see royals and I'm NOT at the stadium watching it. So what's the deal? I shouldn't have to pay for a channel that I CANNOT get. How can I get this channel from being blocked? I can't drive seven hours to drive to a cards game. When I should just watch it on tv!!!

Only thing you'll see are the KC Royals, except on National broadcasts on Fox, FS1 and ESPNs.
