alright i got my iPod for christmas and the right ear bud has started to become staticy. (is that how u spell it? lol)
anyways ive seen that one link in the customer service thing but is it worth it? i mean if its only a minor distortion will they still replace it free of charge?

Are they the newer earbuds with the remote/mic on the right cord? With mine, the right earbud it also not working and I've figured out that it's a connection issue having to do with the remote. Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix it yet.

Shuffle 3G Right Ear Bud No Audio

I'm having problems with my new shuffle. Whenever I use the controls on the right ear bud, the sound dies on the right ear bud. It returns as soon as I release the controls but it also affect the volume controls aside from the clicker. To add, this also happens when I lay a finger on the controls without actually pressing them. For clarification purposes, my 3G shuffle is new and out of the box so I did not wet or tamper with them in anyway.

There is some moisture in your earphone control switch. Just visit nearest Apple's service center. They will sure solve your problem

Found solution on another forum: hold the remote's wireless key down CONTINUOUSLY whilst pairing any other devices. This isn't in the user manuals. Bose ought to rectify this in any firmare upgrade...

I have the Ipod touch and only can hear out the right ear bud

I have tried numerous ear buds, even when listing to ipod in car, via a cassette adaptor plugged into ipod touch - can only hear out of the right speak.
I even took back my initial ipod thinking it was defect, but it is happening on this new one as well - any thoughts please? thank you

Sounds like the headphone jack in the iPod is defective and needs replacement. Have you tried cleaning the jack?

I work for third party retailor with Verizon and several other carriers, and when I went into the corp store that is right down the road from where I live I was talked down to and my problems were kinda brushed under the carpet as if it didnt matter. I tried to explain to the rep that I was having said issues that we have all had and was basically told to suck it up buttercup the update will be out in a few days. This kinda irritated me because I have heard of nothing but complaints of this store so when I went there I wasnt expecting stellar service but at least a attempt to try to help me out since I had purchased my fasicnate from this store last september. This is seriously making me consider other options in my cell service because not only did this make feel like a unimportant customer, but like I was causing a issue of inconvience to the reps there. I understand that you dont really wanna deal with all the customers coming in to talk to you about problems with your phones, but come on I deal with similar things everyday and I try to do my best with it. I just dont know but there needs to be a change of staff in this store in order for me to go back into it, that means I am willing to drive 30 miles to another verizon store to do anything.
Even the update hasn't fixed my issues with the phone. It still overheats, Texts dont come through, calls dont always make it to me, Apps dont always install, and I take screenshots when I hit the power button, and this is after updating and a factory reset. Hopefully I will be able to get some of these issues fixed because overall i like the fascinate but the issues it has makes me seriously reconsider my contract next april.

I was planning to ask for an IPad2 for Christmas. Right now I read only on my Kindle. Can I read my kindle books on the IPad2? And is there a Kindle AP for the IPad2. Can I download my Kindle books right to the IPad2?
I'm not very computer or "tablet" savy. But I think if I can get my Kindle books on the IPad2 and also be connected to the internet and read email wherever I go would be great.

Couldn't find the answer to this in any other forum about the MacProtector Malware. Please HELP!!!

I clicked on a link while reading a story about vegetarian athletes today and the MacProtector malware downloaded to my computer. I DID NOT install the application when the installer opened. I immediately started searching for support on what to do. I exited the installer and rebooted in safe mode. I found the program in the downloads menu and put it in the trash. I emptied my trash. I have looked through all of the possible places the program could be hiding and I did not see anything. Am I safe? Should I still change my password? Also, will the virus be able to find my credit card information linked to iTunes or any other shopping websites? Should I start using Foxfire permanently instead of safari?
I would appreciate any help- even though I know this has been discussed quite a bit!

Depending on the version it just creates a bunch of random fake notification and claims your infected. If you keep getting it then most likely you have Allow popups and "Open Safe files" in safari on. The only damage is if you give the criminals that created it your Credit Card.

About the downgrade right from Acrobat XI version to Acrobat 9

As my department has found some problem on software compatibility that we need to install additional Adobe Acrobat 9 in the new Windows 7 workstation, I just want to clarify if iwe are entitled to have this downgrade right by purchasing an additional Adobe Acrobat XI license.

Another question about the pitch slider problem

Hi everybody!
Anybody can answer me with the solution for my pitch slider? When i import a MP3 from itunes, press ctrl + alt + G and go to the track editor, check the 'follow tempo & pitch' and the pitch slider won't move.
I see answers to use the AUPitch Effect, but i think it's not 'sufficient' for me... if there's an functionality, I want to use, else it's a critical bug for me...
I'm a developer too and a bug without a solution is very very bad for the developer...
Searching in Google, apple support threads and nothing.... anybody else?

What do you mean by "not sufficient"? The AUPitch plugin can be tuned a lot finer than the pitch slider - the only downsides I can see are (1) that it takes up one of the effects slots and (b) that two regions on the same track can't have different pitch corrections.

Right… I created an Aggregate Device exactly as it suggests. I rebooted, restarted, reconfigured, reassistanted etc… And Logic still won't see it! I've tried now on 3 different machines… Is it because of 10.4.10 that I can't do it while others have been successful? Any suggestions?

It says there is a driver built in, but you can download stuff for the c01u at the samson website. I can't remember exactly; it's been a while. I used to have a c01u, but couldn't use it because of the obnoxious noise in its design. Hope you have better luck.

Another Question about the "Notes" Folder from Kevin_Ahab

Okay, thanks to [I forget my helper last time], for his help getting my TEXT (you can not use non-Microsoft Word Documents) Documents to the "Notes" Folder in the Extras Menu of my iPod Nano White 4GB English.
Is there a limit to the size of the notes? My documents were ~8 KILObytes each, and the whole did not show up. If there is some sort of limit, tell me, or maybe I just screwed something up. Because some people have text documents over the 1 megabyte mark (I believe I have some), and if that can not be stored by iPod Nano, that is un-good.
Unless, and tell me if this hunch is correct, it is only for a "to-do" list, not for long, drawn-out documents.
Anyways, any help is GREATLY appreciated, thank-you in advanced.

you can not use non-Microsoft Word Documents
You HAVE to use non-Microsoft Word documents.
They cannot be a .DOC file. They must be plain text.

Yes. 4K file size. Anything over will not be displayed.
if that can not be stored by iPod Nano, that is un-good.
It can be stored on the Nano but it cannot be displayed on the Nano.

I have just successfully installed the Creative Zen Micro Firmware .02.05 on my 5GB Zen Micro but I have a question regarding Windows Media Player. The Set up Sync button and some of the properties still appeared greyed out. I thought the upgrade would solve that problem.
