Another "How do I delete an email" question

So here is my dilema.....
I bought my wife a new iPad Air. She already had an iPad 1 that my 4 year old has deemed hers. Her iTunes account had a bunch of kid games she bought. We didn't want her new iPad to have all that crap so I wanted to create a new iTunes account for her. The first thing I did was logged onto her iTunes account and changed the email address associated with her account. I then attempted to create a new iTunes account using the same email address from before. iTunes won't let me because it says the email address is associated with another account. Now the only other account it was associated with was the account that she was just using (the one were I changed the email address). I did a bunch of Google searches and I've been on the "new" account "Manage" page and I cannot find evidence of the old email address being associated with anything. I even tried logging onto the old account with no luck. I'm really getting frustrated (and ******) because all I want to do is create a new account with my wife's email address (the one that I changed already but apparently is still associated!!). I really need some assistance.

YOur best option here is to contact iTunes support. they can identify if there are other accounts associated to the email address that you wish to use. This will only take you a few minutes if you contact them.

How do I delete the email address that Veriozon Wireless rep paired with my Droid and replace it with a different address?

The easiest way would be to go to menu>settings>accounts & sync, select the account (I'm assuming you're referring to your gmail account, so select google), then press the remove account button at the bottom. You may lose all your contacts and other data associated with your google account, possibly even your apps, so be aware of this beforehand. You can then add the new account from the accounts & sync menu.
If you are willing to completely start over with your phone, another alternative would be to factory reset it (menu>settings>privacy>factory data reset). This will return your phone to an out-of-the-box condition, and you can use a different gmail address if you like.

• How can I delete an email personality that I no longer use

I have been accessing several different email addresses that I no longer use. How can I delete those email personalities from Thunderbird

Looks like you already found this answer but to save another volunteer from answering again and for future searches here is how to remove an old email account.
'''Before you remove an account in Thunderbird, move any messages for that account that you want to keep into a local folder. Removing an account will take all messages associated with that account that are not in a local folder with it.'''
Press the alt key if the Menu Bar is not showing.
From the Menu Bar select Tools-Account Settings
Select the account
Account Actions-Remove Account
Please mark this solved it you are satisfied with the answer.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

How do I delete stored email addresses in my iphone? When sending photos, I don't want to have certain email addresses "popping up" from the internal memory, I've deleted my entire "Contact" list but they still appear. Help please!

As with the Mail app on a Mac, the iPhone's Mail app stores all email recipients in a list of previous recipients which is separate from the address book or contacts. The email address autofill feature when addressing an message pulls from Contacts and from the list of previous recipients.
Different from the Mail app on a Mac, there is no access to the list of previous recipients with iOS on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to remove a previous recipient from the list, or to add a previous recipient to the address book or contacts that is not already entered - not at the present time anyway.
The only way to purge the list of previous recipients at the present time is by restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, which will start being re-populated again with every sent message.

• How do I delete ALL emails on Droid Turbo (pop3)?

I have a Droid Turbo, and love it. But I cannot figure out how to mass delete (all) emails from the phone. I use Pop3 to my email.
I know you can swipe individual emails to delete or press and hold on an email to select, then do the same individually to many and then delete, but I cannot find a "delete all" option like my previous Droid Maxx. Because I haven't been able to keep up with it, I have over 999 emails sitting in there with no way at the moment to delete them all unless I spend a few hours deleting each one, one by one.
Any help here?
Thanks.

That is extremely disappointing. If I delete the account from my phone, will it delete all the messages that way? I might have to find a way to delete and re-add the mail into the phone as the current amount of messages is a large bloat to the phone.
Also, where do I suggest this "delete all" be added to the phone? This was on the Droid Maxx and previous versions. It is odd they would remove an option that could cause extreme bloat.

You can only delete them one at a time on the iPad. If you have an IMAP email account, go to your email in on the server using a web browser and select as many as you can at a time and delete them that way. That action will be reflected on the iPad. In IMAP - whatever you do on one device syncs across all devices. If you have POP email - start deleting one at a time.

You could always try the Mark All thing again for sorting. Do the same as before, for delete (come to think of it, do it before you Delete All, otherwise you'll have nothing to sort). Having Marked All, instead of Delete try Sort. Does this make any difference?

It does not have a virus attached and unless you open whatever (if anything) is attached or linked to the email nothing can happen.
So you can select and delete it and nothing will happen
Although, if you never select it nothing will happen.
Your choice.
