Another one!! Can't play burned CD in car and other music system

Hi,
There has been a problem with my computer recently and I used the forum to find the answer which did fix the problem (safari crashing all the time). Great and thanks to everyone for their help.
But I have now noticed that I am having problmes with burning CD's and I think have tried all what has been suggested. I purchased music from the itunes store and it plays without any problems.
The discs that I am using are DVD-RW. I have gone into itunes preferences and selected "when you insert a CD" - import cd and I think the import settings are correct.
When I clicked on the burn button, I selected audio CD which didn't work, so I tried selecting Data CD or DVD, that didn't work either.
p.s I have successfully burned before this, so I don't know why I can't do it now.

You're really using DVD disks? You need to be using CDs if you want them to play in most car and other CD players, very few of which will play a data disk at all, much less a data DVD. Burning audio CDs, which is the format you generally will need for other players, usually works best with CD-R (not CD-RW).

Just FYI, those settings have no effect on burning a disk from iTunes.

Do you mean crashes?
Try doing a full reset. otherwise it sounds like you might want to walk it into the nearest Apple Store and get an opinion there.

How can I play mpeg on my iMac and other apple devices

I received a movie clip to my email(apple) from a cell phone. It is labeled video0131.mpeg. I can not play it. Would like to be able to play. I have installed on my iMac flip4mac. Still does not play. When I click on the link that says video0131.mpeg I get an error message error: no associated application could be found. Please help. Greatly appreciated.

I am sorry I am not able to understand the link you sent me about quicktime. I am operating Mac OS X version 10.6.7. I sent myself from my cell phone a video to my mailbox. When i go to mail and open it up it shows the logo pic of movie clip then right next to it the link video0131.mpeg when i highlight the link it also shows this right after video0131/cid:422, I go to click on link or movie clip pic and i get an error message no associated application can be found. I have installed on my computer quicktime player 7 also flip4mac.Not sure hat has happened or am I doing something wrong. Thanks for your help

Can you share a harddrive with Itunes and other music applications.

So here's my issue....
I have been using PCDJ FX on a Windows based laptop for quite a few years.
So what I would like to do is basically beable to take my harddrive and plug it into my desktop and have Itunes use that music disk and then unplug it and put it on my DJ system.
now the issue is there is kind of a process to get the music ready for PCDJ which consists of:
rip the music to my HD
Run MP3Gain to set the Gain.
load it into a temp folder on my harddrive
bring up PCDJ to do the BPM scan to set the Beats per minute.
once this is all done I then go and place the music into it's proper folders such as Bass/breakbeats/bassnectar or 70's Rock/led Zepplin.
the problem that I found is after I do that if I take that harddrive back to Itunes it doesn't realize the new music is there.
is there a way to refresh and scan the folder for the new stuff so Itunes knows it's there???

I would contact Apple under your warranty. I doubt you received a new iPod since Apple's policy is to give you a refurbished iPod.

Yes, one you have your LR 4 user license. (if it was an upgrade from an earlier version then you will also need the earlier version license key.)
You can get the latest update for LR 4 from the link below, and install that instead of the 4.3 version.

Why would you create a new account?
All purchases will be tied to the account from which they were purchased.
You will have to authorize your computer for all the accounts from which music is purchased.

Was your wife logged into the libray at the time you tried to log in? I have had a similar problem and it was because another user was logged into the library when I attempted to. I got the permission denied banner.

To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them.

It will be locked to mobily telecom, and according to Apple's list of supported carriers and their features (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937) they do not offer unlocking. Since only the carrier it is locked to can unlock it, you have bought a useless phone.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Need more information... Is it that you don't know how to add a picture to a text? You know and have tried but gotten an error message? Got no message, but the receiver does not get the text? Are you sending as iMessage or SMS, or MMS?
