Another question about receiver determination

Hi friends
Can we add a new receiver to the list of receivers in the receiver determination , based in some condition only for this new receiver.
Let us say we have the message 1 sent to receiver_1 and receiver_2 no matter what , but the message 1 should only be sent to receiver_3 according to some conditions.
my question if I can only put condition for the receiver_3 receiver determination , or do i have to write a UDF for mapping of the receiveres.

dont need to write any UDF's . u have to use Context Object/X-Path for REC3 in rec.det
for ex: field1 = 1000 -> rec3
field1 =900 ->rec1

Question about Receiver Determination step in BPM

Hello all,
I have a BPM process similar to Multicat BPM Pattern.
I have some questions regarding how the Receiver Determination works:
1. Does it have to have interface determination in the Integration Directory?
2. Does that interface determination (including the mapping) takes place when sending a message to a receiver from that Receiver Determination step,
or should I perform a Mapping step explicitly in the process?

Am not sure if I understood your requirement compltely.
Case A:If you are using a send step without a Transformation Step.
Then Send will have message A being sent out from BPm and then , during Interface Determiantion this will be transformed into Message B by Mapping in Interface Determination and this message B will be received by receiver
Case B:If you have a transform and then a Send
In this case, the mapping has been done, so you have the message B with you and so, them message sent from the BPM will be message BHope this clarifies,

ANOTHER Question about my iMac G3. Mac OS X and RAM

Hey, I have ANOTHER question about my iMac G3.
I know that I'm supposed to have the latest firmware updates for my iMac G3 running OS 8.1, which I do, but I read some where these firmware updates could only be updated if you're running OS 9.2. Yet when I run the firmware updater, it says my firmware is up to date. I just wanted to make sure this was correct because I just ordered an OS X 10.2 CD today, and I don't want my mac to be "dead" when I install it.
My next question is how much RAM can my mac hold. It's an iMac G3 with a 233 mhz processor, if that makes a differemce.

unfortunately you require system 9.1 or 9.2 for the required firmware update 1.2 for your computer http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=86117. so you'll have to install that if you want to install 10.2. it may work for you for a little while, but then you could possibly lose all your information. so i wouldn't advise attempting installing 10.2 without the correct firmware. [ : ) ]

Yet another question about super raid - GS70

Yes, another question about Super Raid...I recently picked up the cheapest model of the GS70 on newegg which comes with 1 mSata SSD...just a mediocre one if I remember reading correctly. I'm interested in using MSI's Super Raid once my warranty is over with and have been reading a couple posts here:

The GT70 CAN come with an adapter that has 2 (on the older, GT70 0NX models) or 3 (on newer GT70 20X models) sockets for mSATA drives. It's an optional part, that takes place of the primary SATA drive in the notebook, and physically has a different part that connects to the motherboard. If it doesn't come with the SuperRaid adapter, then it just has support for a single 2.5" SATA drive.
The GS70 on the otherhand, has this built into the motherboard and there is no swapping it out for a normal 2.5" SATA drive. You can only use mSATA drives (on those ports). The GS70 is meant to be an ultrabook, and therefore does not have the same ability as the GT70 to house up to 2 full size 2.5" SATA drives.
That's really the main difference here. Without physically seeing a GT70 to see how the SuperRaid adapter works, it's slightly difficult to explain.
But in the end, I wouldn't worry about the SuperRaid....The GS70 should have support for Intel Raid Management Engine, in which case that's all you really need.

Question regardin Receiver Determination

Hi,
IS there any way to determine the receiver from multiple receivers based on value which is coming from User defined function?
I tried XPATH but I am able to populate only Sender Message Type in that. In my requirements I've to put condition based on value coming from User define function in message mapping
for example : I am getting values LOC1, LOC2, LOC3 from database. Now want to put condition like If LOC1 then Receiver1, If LOC2 the Receiver2 etc.. But I am not able to get LOC1 field in XPATH.
Anyone can suggest how to do this? Is there any alternative way to achieve this?
Please help me ASAP.

Actually, it is possible. You just have to implement a few workarounds. Check this blog: /people/jin.shin/blog/2007/12/11/sap-netweaver-process-integration-enhanced-receiver-determination-for-synchronous-scenarios
Also, make sure your mapping for the enhanced receiver determination always result in at most 1 receiver (since sync scenarios can't process more than 1 receiver at once).

The answer for this questions comes naturally once you understand a little further how XI works internally.
In the message pipeline, the receiver determintion step comes before the interface determination, which is the step that executes the mapping runtime. Hence, at receiver determination, no mapping has been exeucuted in the payload yet, so the evaluation is done over the sender (outbound) interface.

We are in the process of configuring territory management in our system. I have a couple of questions regarding Territory determination in Business transactions in CRM 7.0.
1) Territories in business transactinos are determined based on partner function categories: employee and person responsible. If the employee is assigned to multiple territories, which territory is determined for the transaction.
a) Is it the territory for which he is assigned the 'Default territory' flag'?
b) What if the employee does not have any territories with the 'Default territory' set?
2) We have had SAP CRM since the last 6-7 years and recently upgraded to CRM 7.0. When I use the transaction searches in the Web UI using the search parameters 'Territory ID' and 'Territory description' we can't see any old transactions in the search results. We can only see the test transactions that were created after we ran the master data reln. update program CRM_TERRMAN_PROC_REL. Is there another program which updates transactional data relationships similar to the master data one?

Question about receiving mesage from those not on ...

I have a question about recieving message from those who are not on my contacts
I enable anyone to contact me through IM and call. a friend who I did not yet add as a friend (not in contact)call me by mistake. he sent message of apology to me, say "sorry for mistakeing call,"
but, i did not recieve such mesage, even thoughh i got notification of call, why did not i recieve his mesage if i Can receive IM from anyone not on contact list??
i try to send him mesage to test. He also did not see my mesage show up ,, on his screen it only show that he call by mistake and that he sent mesage ((which, i never recieve).
i try this on some of my friend's friend who has enable all call and IM through, they also did not recieving mesage I sent them however can see notification of call i make.
does this mean, Only you can see mesage of those in contact list even though you recieve from any body? am i misunderstand How skype is working? Please enligthen me, thx...

I'm not sure I understand you entirely, but you could put the CDs on the computer with a CD ROM drive and then boot that computer as a firewire drive to the computer without a CD ROM drive and then copy your music over.

Another question about gmail

I just posted a question about adding gmail and it was answered. Now, I have another question, I added the new gmail account. It shows in the mail preferences under accounts. Incoming mail addressed to gmail comes to the Archive Box. But I still can't send mail by gmail because in the drop down menu on the email it only lists my other two accounts. Gmail is not an option. I highlighted gmail in the account list and it showed that as the account in use. But, still there was no gmail option on the email form in the sender box. How do I fix that?

Yet another question about burners for iDVD 6

It's not my intention to be redundant and the question about which DVD burners are compatible with the most recent release of iDVD has been asked a few times since iLife '06 was released at MacWorld last week. Yet, though Apple has announced it, why have they not posted a list of compatible devices?
Or, is the onus on the manufacturers to certify that their burners are compatible with iDVD 6?
In either case, has anyone determined if this information is available and, if so, where?

Check with the support sections of the manufacturer's websites - after all, THEY are the ones trying to sell burners.

Question regarding Receiver Determination and Differente Namespaces

Dear sirs,
I have the following scenario:
I have a mail account read by a sender communication channel IMAP4 in namespace http://a. The message is sent to a receiver communication channel type XI delivering to an ABAP Proxy at the same namespace. Everything works fine here.
I need to split the route: Reading the same mail account and depending on the message received send it to an ABAP Proxy of namespace http://A or namespace http://B. The receiver determination does not allow to configure destinations of different namespaces.
Please someone could give me an idea how to solve this issue?

I think what you can do is, just create different mappings based on number of receivers and accordingly create different Interface mappings for your corresponding message mappings. While doing your mapping use the conditions to map only desired data. Now in your configuration do your RD and add all your receivers without any condition. Remember your Interface Determination should contain the corresponding interface mappings.
if do that as you described.
identic message need to be sent multiple times.
that is not my expectation.
it is only way to use bpm.

Another question about adding music to iPhone

Apologies for yet another question regarding adding music to an iPhone but I am completely stuck.
I bought a new laptop in January (it runs windows 8). I've authorised it and synced my phone to it before. I've used it to add music before.
Lately I've just been buying music directly from itunes on my phone but I wanted to add some music from my older collection that is on an external harddrive.
I've gone through the process of syncing the phone again, which has wiped whatever was on there. I made sure I'd ticked on the "manually manage music" box.
It's put all my purchased music back but it still will not let me drag and drop music from my external harddrive. When I hover over with the file it has "link" but it won't actually send the music to the phone.
Is there a way for me to do this without putting music on to my itunes library? I don't like itunes and I definitely don't want to add the music to my laptop as it defeats the purpose of having an external harddrive! Sorry for such a long-winded explanation.

Just to add... I've now tried adding music to the library (getting desperate here) and it's not letting me do that either. Just says 'link'.
This is the most frustrating thing ever. Why are the simplest of tasks made so difficult? It seems like it only works if you buy the music from the iTunes store.

Question about partner determination for customer master

why should we assign the partner function to the account group? According to my understanding, the partner function has to be assigned to partner determination procedure and then through partner determination it is associated with the account group. If the partner can be assigned to account group directly, why do we still need determination procedure?

Let us consider an existing Partner Determination procedure in standard SAP.
The Partner Determination Procedure (e.g, ABCD) can contain multiple "Partner Functions". Suppose there are 100 numbers of Partner Functions in the Procedure.
We assign "Partner determination Procedure" to the "Account Group", so that , the assigned Procedure will be applicable for the Customer master data created under that Account group.
Suppose, Partner determination Procedure "ABCD" has been assigned to Account Group "XYZ".
Now, any Customer created under Account Group "XYZ", the Procedure "ABCD" will be applicable for them. Right?
We have already discussed , the Procedure "ABCD" contains 100 different "Partner Functions".
Out of these 100 Partner Functions, only those Partner Functions, which are permitted by the Account Group "XYZ" , they can only be entered in the Sales area data > Partner Function tab of the Customer master data.
Suppose, only 6 Partner functions (out of 100 no) are assigned to Account Group "XYZ".
So these 6 Partner Functions are permitted by the said Account Group "XYZ" and these 6 Partner Functions can only be entered in the Customer master data.
So, to summerise it, if you want to enter a Partner Function in the Customer master, then
- First, that Partner Function must be available in the Procedure which applicable, and
- Second, that Partner Function also must have been permitted (assigned) by the Account Group .

I have a question or two about recieving messages from Skype users, who are not on my contact list"
1. If I have enabled to only receive messages from people in my contact list, will they be notified when they try to send me an instant message, that they need to add me first?
2. Will I still be able to see messages sent by contacts who are not in my contact list and them see my messages*, if we are both in a Skype conversation group but not on each other's contact list? *The messages either one of us posts in the Skype group conversation

1. The person sending this message will not receive any notification about failing message delivery. The message will just disappear in nowhere.
2. Messages exchanged in group chats will be seen both by you and the other person, even if this person is not in your Contact List.
