Another WMI Scan Failure Thread... Please help!
Hi guys,I seem to have pretty inconsistent Spiceworks scan success when adding new machines to our domain. I'm dealing with a Surface Pro 3 running Windows 8.1 currently, and I can't for the life of me seem to get SW to scan it.I've been digging through WMI EventVwr logs all morning and can only find the following useful info:XML-
Actually, for Premiere Pro CS2 this is not uncommon. The Canon XL1 and GL1 cameras in particular had this problem. If you check the properties of the captured clip, you'll see that the clip frame rate is being reported as 29.96 FPS instead of the correct 29.97 FPS. Theis means the audio will get progressively out of sync with the video. It becomes really noticable after about 11 minutes. The problem is related to a non-standard audio sample rate created by the camera. Instead of being 48000 Hz, it is actually 48048Hz. This was a known problem with some older Canon cameras. Your best solution is to upgrade to CS4. Adobe corrects for this problem by creating conformed audio files. This essentially resamples the audio at the correct 48000Hz and eliminates the problem. If you search the Adobe knowledge base for "29.96" you should find a tech doc on this.
...Or, you could just buy a new camera.

Another DV audio sync thread - PLEASE HELP!!!
I've been using APP v2 for a number of years now and have never had this problem. I'm capturing footage from mini DV using a panasonic camcorder and today my audio is slowly drifting out of sync over my 1 hour tape. AHHHHHHHHHH!
I tried recapturing using the Canon XL1 it was shot on and same thing.
What is causing this, and why out of the blue did it start? In 3 years I've never had this happen and haven't changed computers, cameras, cables, anything?!
Please help. I'm going crazyActually, for Premiere Pro CS2 this is not uncommon. The Canon XL1 and GL1 cameras in particular had this problem. Another form over web thread - please help -
okay, been having trouble with this one and installing/uninstalling oracle software a little too much. I want to make sure I am 100% clear what to do before I continue. Tell me if I have this right:
My situation: I want to serve my fmx files down to java clients from a windows 2003 server platform. I developed the forms 10.2.0.2 in a XP OS and remotely connected to a DB.
I am going to...
1. install oracle AS reports and forms standalone 10.2.0.2
2. install oracle DB standard/enterprise edition 10.2.0.1
3. setup hostname and tns listener with my DB
4. edit the index html file in the oracle web server directory, so that web page calls up the fmx file for java client to interact with
...like this? And for step 4, where in the oracle directory do I configure (or add) the html file? also, how do you configure the file? treat it like a java app like: <app>"whatever.fmx"</app> or something?
thanks.u can put redirects in your httpd.conf:
Redirect /app1 http://<your_as>/forms/frmservlet?config=<your_config1>&form=<your_form1>
Redirect /app2 http://<your_as>/froms/frmservlet?config=<your_config2>&form=<your_form2>
and so on...
then u can call it like this
http://<your_as>/app1
and u get redirected to your first application.
I am not sure if u can redirect index (so u have only to call http://<your_as>), but u can try it ;-)

"iphone synced with another library" it isn't; please help.
Hi all
Tried to put a new CD onto my new iPhone 6 via iTunes.
Music moves over to Itunes no problem, but refuses to move to phone. Greyed out with a dashed circle to left of each track name.
Tried to move music manually; says "The iPhone “Andrew iPhone6” is synced with another iTunes library on “OFFICE-PC”. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?"
My office PC went 3 years ago; I've checked, and I only have my Mac authorised on my account.
PLEASE HELP. I'm going mental trying to figure this out!
I love Apple but am struggling to see how iTunes is intuitive. Everything else Apple is so simple, iTunes is utterly annoying & time consuming.
PLEASE NOTE:
iMac running latest version of Yosemite....though interestingly it says "135122" where it should say Yosemite?? V10.10.2
Brand new iPhone 6 running latest IOS 8 version. (obviously never had it when I had my PC 3+ years ago)The some computer glitch occurred and now iTunes thinks it was synced to another library.
To resolve:
- get all the synced media like apps and music in the iTunes library.
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore the iPod from that backup. The above link includes those instructions. -
Change of Business Area to Cost Center (my first thread , please help)
Hi Everybody i'm Charmaine Leena Martin freshly certified FICO consultant , this is my first thread i'm posting, please help me with the same.
A wrong business area has been assigned to a cost center and postings have taken place in the same.
while using t-code KS02: change cost center , for rectifying the business area , i get the following error:
"Field change business area is not possible (transaction data exists)"
so i've created a new cost center and assigned it the right business
and using t-code kb61 : i have posted the documents to the new cost center
at that time system generates a co-document automatically:
But the accounting document of which transfer postings have taken place still shows old business area and cost center
Please let me know why is it so ,
and what has to be done with the CO document that gets posted automatically
and is there any other way out of changing the business area without creation of new cost center
Moderator: Please, search before postingHi Leena
Welcome to SDN
Do KB11N to post the cost back to the Wrong cost center
Do an FI Posting again Dr the Correct new cost center and Cr the Old wrong cost center
This will match both FI and CO

Another jdksdk1.4 question. Please help
Am I missing something? It seems I can no longer use
import to bring in a class definition from the same directory (these are classes I wrote that do compile). This SUCKS. Please help.
Here's the code with the errors below:
I tried to add a "." after Star and RandomColor...I also tried Star.class, RandomColor.class. Still doesn't work. This worked fine when I was using jdk1.3.1.
import java.awt.event.*;
import java.applet.Applet;
import java.awt.*;
import Star; //Exists in this directory!!
import RandomColor; //Exists in this directory!!
public class StarDriver extends Applet implements MouseListener
private final int APPLET_WIDTH = 500;
private final int APPLET_HEIGHT = 300;
private int radius = 0;
private Star nextStar;
public void init()
addMouseListener(this);
setBackground(Color.black);
public void paint (Graphics page)
for (int count = 1; count <=50; count++) // create 50 stars...
radius = (int) (Math.random() * 14) + 1;
nextStar = new Star( radius, APPLET_WIDTH, APPLET_HEIGHT);
page.setColor( RandomColor.getNewColor(getBackground()) );
page.drawPolygon( nextStar.starPolygon() );
public void mouseClicked (MouseEvent mouseClicked)
repaint();
//empty method to satisfy mouseListener
public void mousePressed (MouseEvent event) {}
public void mouseReleased (MouseEvent event) {}
public void mouseEntered (MouseEvent event) {}
public void mouseExited (MouseEvent event) {}
} C:\j2sdk1.4.0\bin\StarDriver.java:4: '.' expected
import Star;
^
C:\j2sdk1.4.0\bin\StarDriver.java:5: '.' expected
import RandomColor;
^
2 errors
when the periods are added the errors are as follows;
C:\j2sdk1.4.0\bin\StarDriver.java:4: <identifier> expected
import Star.; //Exists in this directory!!
^
C:\j2sdk1.4.0\bin\StarDriver.java:5: <identifier> expected
import RandomColor.; //Exists in this directory!!
^
2 errorsso, since it was getting compiler errors the path was correct? Any idea why I'd get the erros in the first place, if I wasn't getting them in 1.3.1? Apparently this was a bug in JDK's prior to 1.4 fixed in 1.4. There was a recent thread concerning this, you may wish to search for it to get a more detailed answer.

Rather than adding your problems to another persons question, it's best to start a topic of your own so that you get the help you need and don't detract attention from the original posters problem.
With that in mind, go to these 2 locations to see if you have any 3rd party extensions and move anything present in them onto your Desktop to deactivate them:
/Users/YourUsername/Library/InputManagers/
/Library/InputManagers/
Restart Safari to pick up the change. If it works now, you can try moving the items back one by one until you find the culprit. If that doesn't work for you, please start a new topic describing your problem in as much detail as you can - the more information you can provide the easier it will be for someone to help you. Good luck! -

First generation MacBook Air running OSX 10.6.8
Hi,
From what you describe it's certainly a Hard Drive failure so you'll definetely need to contact HP. Personally, considering this is the 2nd HDD in under 2 months, I say it's either bad luck ( however unlikely ) or there is another issue at play - it may be worth suggesting this to HP when you contact them.
Regards,
DP-K

Can't set up another email for iMessage! Please help!
*Yes. I will repost this discusion if it is sent to the second page with no reply.
I already have two iPhones and an iPod touch, and a Mac set up on my iTunes account. The iPod and Mac each have their own gmail account they use to recieve iMessages (one of them is my Apple ID). The two iPhones each have their own phone number they recieve iMessages from. I now want to set up an iPad on that same iTunes account with iMessage with a third gmail adress to use. When I try to set up iMessage, I am shown the two gmails and phone numbers from my other devices but no option to add another email like all the tutorials say. Is there a limit of 2 emails or something? There is no way I am making a new Apple ID just for iMessage. I tried to look for the option in Messages and Settings. Please tell me if there is a way I can add a third email.
10 points go to the first plausible answer!http://www.dvdtoipadconverters.org/ipad-tutorial/how-to-add-email-accounts-on-ip ad.html

Scanner only scans partial image, please help!
scanner not working right (HP all in one printer), when I scan from the HP device I get partial images saved into "scanner output", when I scan from the computer I get a full image with a decreased viewing field that I need to resize. Now, scanning from the computer it opens a window to save in "scanner output" which I do, the device scans, I see the image, but when I clear that box there are zero saved projects in "scanner output". I am so frustrated. I even lock the 8.5"x11" in the resize field but images/viewing fields are still partial. HELP! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi
Which HP AIO scanner do you have? I have the C4280. When using the Device Manager I choose>scan picture>scan to:PDF File (which I use most often)>accept>save as XX.>save to desktop.
Try saving to Desktop so you're not searching all the time (been there, done that).
Let me know how it goes.

Total iMac failure! Please help. Problems with freezing, and time machine
My iMac has started to go crazy over the last week. It started crashing repeatedly, so much so that it could take me 10 tries just to get it going. I was able to run disk warrior and disk utility and neither of those came up with any issues. I took it into the apple store and they repaired permissions and cleared the cache and of course nothing happened while the mac was in the store.
When I came home I started trying to clear out excess files and organize to save space and memory. I downloaded cleanmymac as well as crucial.com's scanner as recommended by the mac genius. Unfortunately, that night after everything had been working fine, the computer started crashing all over again. I get lines through my screen, it locks up, things get distorted, etc.
In addition, I noticed today that all of my time machine backups have been deleted from my machine. The only one that exists is a huge one that was created the day after it was examined at the store. I have no idea how that happened as I have not touched the time machine settings. To make matters worse, the time machine will not even back up now. It says there isn't enough space. (There are 160GB available). Shouldn't it just be making incremental backups? All I am doing at this point is deleting files anyway!
If anyone has any suggestions at all, please offer them!!!Hi, unfortunately it sounds as though your Mac needs the attentions of an Apple Service Technician.
You do not say how old your Mac is or if you have Applecare..
In any event I feel you will do best as I previously said -> Apple Service Technician.
