Another ZM charging question : ZM doesn't stop glowi
Hi,
sorry for another boring question about charging Zen Micro.
I usually charge my ZM over the AC-plug because the USB-charge is too slow. If I plug the ZM into the charger it starts with this "breathing" glow (you know what I mean ).
Does the micro suppose to stop "breathing" after 3-4 hours of charging ? Because my micro does it but then the led-light doesn*t simply go off... the continue glowing nut with the "normal" glow (not "breathing").
Is it bad for the micro if I let it plugged into the charger over night ans it glows for 7-8 hours (I know that it ist ok for the battery but how is ist for the leds ? ).

"it happened to my micro once, just do what i did. Unplug it(it turns off the light), then plug it back(it turns on ur player automatically), then just turn it off. Never happened to me ever again(hope not jinxing it)"

it appears. I bought a new battery (non genuine) because the old one was 3 years old and was showing 0% and a green adaptor light while the laptop was running. My best advice for battery testing is don't bother.

If your nano, when fully charged, lasts significantly less time than the specs say, then your Nano probably needs some serivce. Current nanos should play music for about 24 hours and pics with music for just 5 hrs. -
Ipod mini doesn't stop charging the battery
i've been charging my battery for almost 2 days, but it just doesn't stop anymore....
usually it told "charged" and stopped, but it wont anymoreDid you unplug it? I know it sounds stupid and not very helpful but maybe it's just a bug that doesn't show it's done charging. I know sometimes for me I take it off of the charger while it says charging and when I plug it back it says charged.

Song preview button in iTunes 9 doesn't stop songs?
Upgraded to iTunes 9 last week when it was released, and sine then the preview (play) buttons next to songs in the Store have been able to play the standard preview of the song, but they do not stop the preview when I click them again. The image does change to a "stop" button, but the song doesn't stop unless I press the main "pause" button in the top-left or click another song to preview.
Anyone else having this issue/found a solution?

That's all I keep hearing- same when I had an error 23 brick my iPhone last week. Apparently, they hadn't heard of the issue yet it is plastered all over the net.
Noticed this issue myself. Hopefully a small fix for the next release. I think they always have to rush the first release out for the specific date set (for the Apple show). I remember iTunes 8 had the Shuffle button not working on albums in its first version till the update. -

You can also try to close the tabs via Ctrl+W and restore the closed tabs via Shift+Ctrl+T -
My iPod shows that my battery is receiving energy and that it is "charging," but it doesn't actually charge. The battery never increases; it only decreases. Even when I have it physically plugged in and charging, it loses battery whenever I am using an APP or anything. I'm thinking that the chip that receives the energy is damaged or worn out. Is there anyway to fix it without going to the store? My USB chords is fine. It charges other iPods fine. Including a second generation iPod which means my 4th generation iPod should not have an physical battery problem. Any suggestions? Thank you so much!

Hey. I have recently made an update on my daughters iMac, particularly the update OS X 10.9.4, when finished, its still asking for update and the same update stills remarked as ready in the apple update menu and remarked as 1 to go at the App store app. Why doesn't stop asking for update when its done like 5 times or more? If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.

There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it. The same goes for Xcode. All other data will be preserved.

Inserted movie's auido doesn't stop even if we move forward

In captivate 2.0, I'm inserting another flash movie with
audio as an "animation slide". on the slide (not in the inserted
movie), the display time is "rest of slide". i have a button to go
to next slide. next slide has its own audio. problem is that, while
playing, before the inserted movie finishes, if i click the button,
the movie proceeds to next slide, but the audio of inserted movie
doesn't stop. i.e. now i'm hearing audio from the incompleted
inserted movie plus audio of the second slide. How can i completely
stop the inserted movie from playing audio after i click the
button. I think the same problem is there if i use the Captivate's
playback control buttons also.

thanks for the reply. i think the option of keeping audio in
parent file is not possible in my case because the child file shows
configuring a particular s/w thru several slides and sync with
audio is important. and i think in Captivate, there's no option for
exporting audio from a project as a single mp3 file so that i can
import it in the parent slide.
the end option of child project is "to stop project". yes, i
can set the length of the parent slide to a numerical value. but
the problems is that, if user click the continue button included in
the parent slide before the child movie finishes, it goes to the
next slide, but audio of child movie continues.

If you haven't yet signed out in System Preferences>MobileMe go there: go to the iDisk pane and if you have iDisk Syncing running, stop it. Go to the Sync pane and turn off all syncing. Then go to the Account pane and sign out.
Also go to iPhoto and/or Aperture if applicable and if they have an accounts section in Preferences remove MobileMe from it (not all versions do).
If you have already signed out you won't be able to sign back in to do this. In that event, or if the above doesn't work, go to (user)/Library/Preferences/ByHost and remove all .plist files beginning with com.apple.DotMac and com.apple.idisk. -
InfoSpoke doesn't stop while extracting
Hi all,
I created an infospoke on an InfoCube
When I run the extraction on a file the database manager takes all CPU and doesn't stop.
I tried to remove some infobjects and it works.
I cannot identify a single infobject that makes troubles.
It seems that if I reach a limit the database doesn't manage the extraction any more
I'm using BW 350 and in the log of the job I found that program RSBSPOKE2 is run.
Any help appreciated,

I reduced the size of the package at 10 but no package created. It seems the very first query it executes makes the database busy.
Did you never face a problem like this?
Is there a limit of 16 keys in the Infospoke?
I think not because I created this on another system and there worked.

I charged my ipad with a defective charger, it heated up and stopped working. i charged for a good 4 hours without knowing the charger was defected (distortion of internal wires and a broken protective external layer)
You're not asking any question so I'll just ramble.
You may have permanently damaged your iPad. The iPad controls the current coming from the charger but the charger electronics must be capable of responding to the iPad. Charge with a known good charger and then test your iPad. If it's OK, you lucked out. Otherwise... If the charger was not an Apple charger, you're completely out of luck. If it was an Apple charger, call Apple and discuss the issue with them. -
I am having a painful problem with itunes 10, everytime I go everytime I go into the itunes store to search for a song, even if I type one letter Itunes will instantly launch into search mode and doesn't stop, so because I can never get past putting in the first letter or two, I'm unable to search and download any songs. I am on the latest Imac Intel core i7 Mac OS X, can anybody help?

Since itunes 2.0.4 has been downloaded my ipod doesn't synchronize properly/ at all. The LED screen shows çopying 1 or 2 from 101' and itt will remain like that.
It looks like sync but nothing is happening. The sync doesn't stop by itself. Is there anybody to solve this problem? In previous versions never a problem.I have exactly the same issues with my new 80G iPOD. I have found that when connecting to my PC, the iPOD does not start iTUNES 7. This can be resolved by stopping the iPOD Service in Computer Management, connecting the iPOD and then starting it again. Seems like a stupid long-winded way to do things, but at least you can get some stuff on to your iPOD.
As far as using Restore goes - I just get the restoring iPOD message you described, which it blatantly isn't :((

How can I import pictures from my iphone to PC which I imported to the iphone from another PC? The folder doesn't show on my computer. I see all other pictures I took with the phone but not the imported folder.
Photos that were synced from a computer won't show for copying to a computer. If you want to copy them back then you will need a third-party app on your phone such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to a device, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer (e.g. their dimensions might be different and their colours may look a bit different).

How do I connect my 2nd generation Ipod to a Firewire 800 port on a new laptop? It no longer holds a charge and it doesn't power up with the newer generation USB cable. The only way I can sync my Itunes library onto this Ipod is when it is powered and connected simultaneously. Pls help.
