for those that where here when the iphone 4 launched on vzw, you remember what the boards where like
these answers came from the questions asked at that time
if your not eligable, dont complain.
wiat out your contract or full price
sorry  just have to say this after the last iphone launch
also if it happens like the last launch you will not be able to use an upgrade from another family memeber until sometime after launch
remember you can always pay full price
any no you dont deserve anything your no better a customer then anyone else that has waited until thier contract was over
if you have to ask the cost, you dont need the phone
and yes it needs a data plan
if you cant afford the data plan, you dont need the phone

what i was referring to was transferringupgrades, vzw does do this
but what you want is done kinda like this
1. order on the eligable line
2. activate on the eligable line and accept the terms and conditions
3. reactivate old phone on the line you just activated the iphone on
4. activate iphone on line you want it on
there are other steps about adding and removing data that all depend on what line ends up with a smart phone ect
