Anti glare screen protector ipad mini retina

I've been researching 3 screen protectors: Moshi ivisor AG, Zagg smudge proof, and bodyguardz hd anti glare. Of the 3 which provides the best clarity without sacrificing much degradation in color. Also what is this business about matte finish, i've seen that zagg does not have matte finish but not sure if its true. Lastly is it truly worth getting anti glare and sacrificing the clarity and quality of the pixelation?

Zagg is super expensive and I've never liked the orange peel effect they have. I think the best anti glare screen protector is the Tech Armor Screen Protector. It has a matte fingerprint free surface and costs less than $8.

  • Ipad 3 anti glare screen protector

I suffer from headaches from my new Ipad 3.
I also suffered with them on my Ipad 1 but used a Media Devil anti glare screen protector and the problem was solved.
I have tried the Media Devil on the Ipad 3 but it does not work very well as the resolution of the Retina screen is increased.
This causes the screen to pixalate.
Can anybody recommend an Anti Glare screen protector that works with the Ipad 3 Retina screen.
I have seen the Mosi AG advertised on line has anybody tried this on the ipad 3 ?
Does it pixalate the screen ?

    Hi Menel,
    Thanks for the reply!
Does your PowerSupport Anti-Glare affect the nice Retina display?  Does it still look good?
Is it easy to apply?  ( Bubble Free ? )

  • Anti-glare screen protector on 5?

Should I put an anti-glare screen protector on my iPhone 5? Or does that diminish the retina display?

This really comes down to personal preference - screen protectors are designed for maximum visibility and there shouldn't be any perceptible difference in the output of the display - I have used my iPhone 5 in all types of light with and without a protector and I do see an improvement with the glare and I can't see a difference in the quality of the display but I can't predict how it will work for you.

  • Anti-Glare Screen Protectors

Do you all know of any anti-glare screen protectors that are less expensive than the Power Support screen protectors? I hate having to pay $15 for them. I know there are some from Case Mate but i have heard bad things about them.

Actually, you should be able to get them right now from this place. Just enter the model and they'll make them up.

I've bought from them several times for various cell phones and my new Blackberry. They sell them in sets of 3 for about $6.50 for the set. You can also look on ebay for these things.
Good luck and if anybody orders from here, please post so others will know the results.
I'm having trouble looking for them on ebay. I don't what to search for. I kept typing in anti-glare protectors for mp3 players, but there no results.

  • Anti-glare Screen Protector for iPhone 5

I really like the feeling and the performance of anti-glare screen protector, any recommendation for it? As far as I know, Sir Lancelot's Armor, Green Onion and power support(not released yet) are the best in my opinion.

I can't imagine that they would take it.
Ask them tomorrow, but I cannot see a reason why they would take a return on a used product

  • Anti glare/scratch screen protector Ipad Mini 2 - Not compromising clarity

I'm looking for an anti glare/anti-scratch screen protector for the ipad mini 2 retina. I know Zagg has an awesome one however the clarity is greatly compromised at only 86% clarity. Is there a screen protector that has great clarity along with anti scratch and anti glare, or at the very least minimized the glare from outside or inside lighting.

Hi. I'm in the market for one too. I've always used power support and they're very good albeit expensive at £30 a pop. I've looked at the Zagg but there have been some not so great reviews. So my advice is go power support, the HD anti glare one is very good but if you don't want to dull the display and it does make a difference then go for the crystal clear. Hope that helps

  • NuVue Anti-Glare screen protector

Is anyone familiar with this product, as I haven't been able to find any reviews? I'm looking for an AG protector, and everything I've looked at--Power Support, Box Wave, Speck, among others, all seem to make the same promises (no bubbles, no fingerprints, no glare), and all seem to share the same problems. Is there any real difference, or is it just a crap shoot? Thanks.

I am sitting here looking at my iPhone 4 with a Power support anti glare and my iPad which has the power support clear.
My choices where quite calculated...I didn't want to reduce the I age quality on the iPad at all if I could help it.
I often view photos and do most of my web surfing on the iPad and wanted to preserve the amazing picture.
While the iPhone 4 does have an amazing display, it does get used much more in thecarand outside so I thought I would opt for the anti glare.
I can say that I am very impressed with both products.
I managed to get both on with NO dust or bubbles, the only thing that is not 100% is my alignment. I am just slightly off center around the home button but edges are all within tolerance, no chance of peeling up that I can see.
I must say, the feel of the glass surface is better than the feel of the protectors, the clear protector does have more drag to it, but if kept clean it is minimal. The clear protector is also VERY clear, is see no orange peel effect at all.
The anti glare is also just slightly out of alignment due to my installation butnotso much that it is overlapping speaker or camera at all.
The feel of the antiglare is actually quite nice, slightly rough but finger glides very easily. It also does not show fingerprints as much as clear or bare glass.
I have been using some form of screen protection for years, on my original Dell Axim PDA, then through 2 HTC smart phones, all where Boxwave.
Not sure if the technology has changed or not but even though I was very happy with the box wave, I think the Power Support are better.
Also, I am not sure about the iPad, but for the iPhone I was able to order a kit with clear back, clear front and also antiglare front.
As I wasn't sure if I would like the antiglare I felt this way I would have the other to swap out.
I know a lot of people don't like using protection, I even considered it myself. What it finally came down to was iPad was near $1000 with tax and 3G activation...was I going to risk screen damage for the sake of $20? No way, can always rip it off if i hate it but can't undo scratches once they are there.
    Hope this helps you decide.

  • U400 Anti-glare screen addon

Wondering if anyone with a u400 bought an anti-glare screen "protector" for their laptop. Did it work well, fade out colors too much, etc? Also, if anyone else with a glossy 14" 1366x768 screen has any input, it's welcome!
    Thanks

  • IPad mini retina screen protector

I need to get a screen protector for the new iPad mini retina and, after some googling, can't locate anything confirming whether the layout of the screen exactly matches that of the predecesor, iPad mini.  Is the footprint of the two devices exactly the same?

The screens are exactly the same. I have a Tech Armor HD Screen Protector on my iPad Mini and absolutely love it. You wouldn't even know it was on there if I didn't tell you.

  • Best anti glare screen for new ipad

I do a lot of reading on my ipad, especially at night and I notice it has been affecting my eyes and I am experiencing eyestrain, I purchased some gunnar computer glasses to help deflect the screen glare but so far no cigar.  Any suggestions on a good anti glare screen that I can use ?

  • Is there a genuine IPad anti glare screen to reduce the reflection/mirror effect when using outdoors?

The reflection in the IPad 4th generation retina screen when using outdoors or in bright light is very distracting. You look at yourself! Especially if using the pad on your knees.
I have fitted the excellent Moshi clear protection screen, but this does not reduce the reflection. Amazon sell an anti glare screen for the IPad 2. Anyone found one that really works, or is this something we must put up with.

Linehill again.  It seems that many users find the same problem, but no one has the answer! I have been experimenting with some ideas and have found wearing a black or very dark shirt makes a huge improvement if you are sitting down and hold the IPad on your thighs. Try it!
