We are trying to run the report Antimalware overall status and history for EndPoint Protection status, but we are not able to see the graphics in the report:
Anyone have seen that before?

Could you see the graphics in the report when you open the report from Report Manager URL in Reporting Services Configuration Manager? Have you checked srsrp.log?

Good morning,
I have setup a subscription to the default report in SCCM named "Antimalware Overall Status and History". When the report is sent out it sends a nice pie chart with categories underneath it. The categories are the following :-
- Protected
- At Risk
- Not yet Installed
- Client Not Supported
- Inactive
- Configuration Manager Client Not Installed
The report works great and it adds all of our clients in to the correct category. However my question is - How does SCCM determine which category clients are added to. Are there certain requirements that a client must meet before it is added to the "Protected"
category.
Also is it possible to edit the settings for these categories?

PIAC Status and Physical inventory history

Hi Experts,
When Issuing goods / Posting material docs following error message is displayed.
"Serial Number XXXXX cannot be used - System status PIAC is active (EQU XXXXX)u201D
1. When cross checked with the relevant Inventory document, i could not figure out a relation.
2. In Physical inventory history -> Serial numbers, what does the following fields signify:
          i.   Equals:
          ii. CountedStck:
          iii. InvtBalance:
    Is there any relation with the PIAC status and above ??

May be your MM person has posted the physical inventory for adjusting the stock for your material with serial number ,kindly consult with MM person on this.which may forbid the order for issuing the components

Credit status and overall blocked status of a sales order

Is there a sap delivered business object that has a method to get credit status and overall blocked status of a sales order?

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been looking at BUS2032. It does not give me a method that has the values of credit status and overall blocked status of a sales order. I now am kind of convinced that I will have to extend this object. Can anyone please tell me the steps that I will have to go through to do this. I would like to know if I should write a new function module that gets the required data from tables like VBAK and VBSTT. Should I then call the function module in a method.
Or should I use the getStatus method that BUS2032 provides and get my values from there. A little more detail to this is greatly appreciated.

PSU showing Power save and overall status : N/A

Hi,
In UCS chassis 5108,we noticed a 2 PSU was faulty to check properly we swapped a cable and one of the PSU came up but another PSU was on same status. so we raised PSU and replaced it, but the overall status of the PSU was N/A and its not glowing green LED. Its blinking the Green LED but not continuous glow.

What´s your configuration on power groups and firmware version? N+1 or Grid?1.x or 2.x?
The Blinking green led and status power-save, I belived this one is a standby.
When you configure N+1, two PSU work and one Standby mode then If you configure Grid all PSU work together and all Green LED are glowing.

I found this information below, too.
The power supply is providing no power to the system but can be powered up
quickly in the event of another power supply failing. This mode saves power
in two ways:
1. It reduces the power consumption of the PSU, as there is no output the PSU
only requires a small amount of power to keep the capacitors charged and
circuitry active.
2. It increases the load on the remaining PSUs shifting them further on their

For example line item 00010, in its status tab under processing status there is a field overall status which has value Open, Completed etc.

Resetting of Overall Status of Sales order.

Dear All,
After creation of Sales Order, Customer rejected the Order. So, We have kept Reason for Rejection as "Customer Rejection" for the particular order and saved the document. Observed that the document over all status is turned to Complete.
But, when we run the delivery due list, the rejected sales orders also appiring in the report.
We rechecked the sale order status. Here is the catch, the Overall Status of the document is resetting to OPEN that's the reason this order is appering in delivery due list.
Please let me know how can i over come this problem.

Forgot to add...please check the incompletion status of the line item that is rejected...if its incomplete then the overall status will not be complete even after assigning rejection code....

Billing not Possible- Overall Status Blocked

Hello All,
I have a problem while creation of the Billing document based on Order. Our Scenario is of Service Billing i.e. Contract->Order--> Billing.
Problem: While creating Billing -Error Log is created stating " Document xxxxxxxx blocked for billing'
When I checked the Sales Order for any blocks, the Header Status shows Overall blkd status as Blocked.
The Sales document is also released for Credit., the Customer has no blocks set.
Can you help me in tracing out the reason.

Thanks for your responses. The Problem is not of Billing Block. The Issue is Overall Status block.
We have line item wise Billing block, which is removed first and then the Order release is done by VKM3.
So even after the Credit release is done the Status shows Overall Status as blocked.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.<br />
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.<br />
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Order Related Billing - Overall Status B after billing

We have changed billing relevance of our order related billing item category to B (Relevant for order-related billing - status acc.to order qty) and the copy control to the billing document to E (Goods receipt quantity less invoiced quantity).
This now allows us to bill these sales orders based on the GR and not wait on the IR.
However, how can we control the overall status of the sales order item billed? When billed partially, the overall status is set to B (Being Processed).
I see no process, except changing order quantity which will set this overall status to C.
I see COMPLETION RULE but after setting this and completing billing, the overall status is still BEING PROCESSED. I assume this is because the copy control from sales document to billing document does not have an 'update document flow' option.
Is the solution a custom routine in the copy control?

hello, jim.
the system behavior is correct. in a purely order-billing scenario, the status remains as "being processed" because you have not completely billed the item, and there are quantities that are still to be invoiced.
if the open balance is no longer to be billed, in general we "reject" the open items. this action completes the line item status. if there are no other line items in the order, the entire document will also be completed.
i think you have a third party transaction. when you say "partially billed", are you referring to quantities invoiced based on GR, which may be less than the order quantity? if so, rejecting open quantities in the sales order should complete the order.

Sales Doc Overall status not updating in DSO

In ECC status of the Sales Document has changed from B to C. However in the DSO status still shows as C. Delta has pushed through successfully. Please see the screenshot below. Why is the status not changing in DSO?

If the sale order item is the key field and the status is in the data field in the DSO you will not have an issue in the cube.
Please find the example below
1. DSO - Sales order X1 / 10 overall status B   keyfigure 100
2. Cube - Sales order X1 / 10 overall status B   keyfigure 100
After the Full DTP - Overall status will be overwritten in DSO
3. DSO - Sales order X1 / 10 overall status C   keyfigure 100
4. Cube - Sales order X1 / 10 overall status B   keyfigure 100
5. Cube - Sales order X1 / 10 overall status B   keyfigure -100
6. Cube - Sales order X1 / 10 overall status C   keyfigure   100

TCP Socket connection in CLOSE_WAIT status and not getting closed

I am facing an issue with the TCP socket connections not getting closed and they are in CLOSE_WAIT status for ever.
As a part of batch process in our application, emails are sent with 4 embedded images. These images are downloaded from 3rd party site with IP say "UUU.XXX.YYY.ZZZ"
The images are embedded to email as follows
1. An URL object is created with the site url.

2.     The image cid is created with the URL object and the image name

When a mail is sent, 4 new TCP connections are opened and are put in CLOSE_WAIT status for ever. For every mail sent 4 new connections are opened. In UNIX there is an upper limit on the number of open file handles (defaults to 1024) at any point of time. The open TCP connection has the underlying socket in CLOSE_WAIT status and is not getting closed at all. When the upper limit (1024) is reached the batch process is throwing the following exception and terminates.

I tried 2 solutions
1. Got the HttpURLConnection from the URL object and invoked disconnect method on the same. But it doesn�t work.
2. Ran the batch process java program with the parameter �Dhttp.keepAlive=false to close the underlying connection but didn�t help.
I need the underlying sockets to be closed and not put in CLOSE_WAIT status after sending the mail.
Is it the problem with the embed method of HtmlEmail object not closing the underlying socket connection.
If anyone has faced this issue before, kindly let me know the possible solutions for the same ASAP.

This sounds more like a problem due to connection pooling at middle tier/application server.
If that has been ruled out, then you might to enable DCD or set expiry time on the server.
