Any AFS experience

Hi,buddies:
Is there anybody has experience about AFS solution?such as Nike and ADIDAS,is there business content for AFS or I have to enhance all related datasource so that I can extract AFS specific data,such as size XXL etc.

In AFS you have datasources which are specific to AFS in the business content if you see in the industry specific solutions you will find AFS specific conetent
and regarding your doubt about picking the sizes in AFS like L, M, S, XL, XXL- they are in the infoobject 0AF_GRDVAL,
One of the difference from AFS and Standard is that in AFS as you have elementary fields and have infoobjects like Size, color, ..etc.
i think i am clear.
and also the filling of setup tables for inventory is a bit different you won't be using the standard BX instead you have to go through a procedure it is described in OSS,,,right now i don't have it with me...so kindly check in OSS.
and their is also a procedure explained in the OSS how the standard datasources are transformed into the AFS specific.

That depends, did you create reusable workflows? Those can be deployed to another environment (of course depending on dependencies within the workflow itself)

I had a similar experience with mac e-mail where apparently someones ICLOUD id for their Iphone was created with an Alias I had @mac.com for years. Originally thought the mail was phishing and deleted without opening - then received forwarded mail from the other persons non-apple account - so gave feedback through mail to apple and also sent an email to the other persons non-apple account from a non-apple account telling them I was getting their mail because it was my alias.
That person did get apple to untangle the accounts so I did have to reset my password once it was done.
So one option would be to contact apple support to get them to find out what is going on with your account.
E-mail contact of the other person was easy once I had a legit account to send to -- don't know how you would contact the other person in notes.

2.5" external enclosure (bus powered) any thoughts, experience, suggestions

I'm about to purchase a bigger hard drive for my macbook, I thought I could put the old one in an external enclosure that's bus powered, any experience with that ? I'm thinking about the Bytecc BT-280SATA but couldn't find it here in Quebec, Canada. Also saw the OWC Mercury on the go, but I find the pricetag a tad high at 90 bucks for an enclosure, couldn't find another SATA notebook drive enclosure that's bus powered though, I'd like to hear suggestion.
Would also appreciate a suggestion of where to purchase one of these enclosures in Canada.

You are rightm the price is a little high, but there are not a ton of choices when it comes to a SATA/FW enclosure.
TransINTL.com has one, but it is even more at $99.

Any practical experience with composite partitioning range/list?

I'm working on Oracle 9.2.0.4 and I plan to migrate several large range partitioned tables into range/list partitioned tables. I was wondering I anybody has some practical experience with this new feature (range/list composite partitioning) and if he encountered any bugs or "undocumented features" ?

You can also put the query in a parameter file so you don't have to worry about escaping characters.

Does any one experience having slow performance after upgrading to lion? (I'm using an iMac early 2008 with 4gb memory)

I'm having a problem on my iMac early 2008 (2.4GHz Core 2 Duo 4gb SDRAM) after upgrading to Mac OS X Lion.
The animation such as mission control and full screen and especially, launch pad performs really slow.
Sometimes, mission control doesn't even show the animation.
This is terrible and I want Apple to fix these problems or otherwise this is just making my mac useless.
Does anyone experience having similar problem?

Any *positive* experiences with iOS 8 on iPad 2?

Two related questions:
1. I'm trying to decide whether or not to install iOS 8 on my iPad 2. I've read quite a few posts explaining negative experiences. But has anyone had a positive experience? No challenges with the upgrade? Few to no problems with apps?
2. I am on my third iPad 2 due to hardware issues. My most-recent iPad 2 is only one month old. Will this make any difference whatsoever as to how it will respond to the upgrade? Or is it just a case of the iPad 2 being out of date hardware-wise? Not up to the task?

I still haven't upgraded from 7.0. However, last night I must not have been thinking properly, and I upgraded my Mac to Yosemite. I'm worried that my iPad and Mac will stop talking. So far, so good, but how long will they continue to support iCloud? (I didn't switch to iCloud Drive because iPad still on 7.0.)

The Win malware would not affect you in any way—but it would certainly affect them.
Therefore, the answer depends primarily on you.

HT4085 can't ghet sound on i pad. when pushing side button icon appears showing sound is on. Must be something else that needs to be set differently. Side switch is set to mute. Any one experience this and have a solution

There are two different sound levels, one is the normal sound level and the other one is sound affects, turn the volume up on buttens and view the multitakting bar and then swipe to the left the show the sound volume, in settings you can change which one is set to buttens also.

We've had a windows 8 update and now itunes keeps crashing. Any similar experiences and or solutions?

We have recently gone through an auto update with our windows 8 machine and afterwards iTunes will not function for more than a minute before shutting down. Any similar problems or solutions besides going back to an older restore point?

Does any-one experience wifi connection problems after update to ios5?

Since the update to IOS5 I have to do all my internet seaches via 3G network, since my iphone 3gs does not pick up the router anymore. All other devices still work with wifi, so it's not the router itself. Only the iphone does not recognize/connect anymore to my router or any other wireless network (I tried at university network and open city networks as well....)
I thought the update to ios 5.0.1 would have solved this problem as well (since it is obviously software related...my wifi worked perfectly under ios4) but it seems things have not improved at all.
Any-one else with this problem, or a solution?

Yes, after upgrading to 5.01 (I skipped 5.0) my iPhone 3G and iPad 1 have both lost the ability to connect to wi-fi networks even though they see them. I get a generic "unable to join the netwwork "name""). I have reset the devices, etc. This might explain why my iPhone battery life went from 2-3 days to less than a day now as the device is constantly trying to join my known networks but to no avail. No solution found yet. This is an Apple problem.

MBP 17" glass fascia comes loose - pops out!!? Any other experiences?

My several month old MBP 17" unibody screen pops out. just the glass fascia, and it always starts in the bottom left when sometime opening it.
closing it often pushes the fascia back in... or i can just pop it back in its rubber mount... but a £1700 machine should not do this!!?
any other people experienced this?
i've got applecare, 3 years. would they just replace the rubber part, or the whole machine. additionally, the bottom seems really flexy on the underside, and one or two screws have come loose. is this common too??

Though this does sound unusual, why would you expect to just be able to call and get new computer, especially over something so minor? Applecare is a (great!) warranty, not a replacement plan!
Just tighten the two loose screws on the bottom yourself and then get the glass checked out and fixed if needed.

Why can't i see my last import!? i just imported them and now they don't show up it was about 1500 pictures and now i'm afraid i've lost them. any one experience this?

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

My GoPro workflow currently is:
- record with GoPro in Protune
- import GoPro MP4 into Premiere and edit
- convert GoPro MP4 to AVI using GoPro Studio (leaving same file name stored in sub-folder)
- 'offline' GoPro Premiere MP4 footage and 'relink' to AVI
- export media out of Premiere
Be careful with AVI files in Premiere as they crash my 2014.2 release 8.2.0(65) build. Solution I see to have AVI not crash Premiere is to turn off GPU Acceleration and use Software only.
After I re-link AVI files in Premiere, I leave my GPU Acceleration on and render out. I do not play the AVI with Premiere to avoid crashing. When I am re-linking the MP4 to the AVI, I am saving the project frequently due to Premiere crashing. I am exporting GoPro AVIs fine with GPU Acceleration on.
Premiere handles GoPro MP4 files fine. I could not tell you anything about Photoshop video editing if that is what you are asking.
