Any alarm clock/radios that work for iP4?

Looking to purchase a alarm clock radio but wasn't sure which ones are compatible with the iP4. I have a few in the house in the kids room that won't charge or work with iphone but works fine with ipod. Any suggestions?

I have a Sony clock radio that I purchased when I got my 3G. It still works with my IP4, it also obviously worked with my 3GS.

Curtis iMode IP200 iPod alarm clock radio- will it fit the classic?

Hey everyone! I currently just bought the 80gb ipod classic. I have a Curtis iMode IP200 iPod alarm clock radio that fits my old 4g ipod and I was wondering if the classic is suppose to fit in it. It doesn't seem to which is disappointing because I do like the clock. It came with lots of adaptors and I have the adaptor that came with my classic but it is not fitting. It looks like it can fit though...I don't much about the universal dock but will that make my classic fit this clock? or is the universal dock just another ipod charger... Thank-you.

The Extreme Mac Luna will do 1, 2, 3, and 5. Not many other radio docking stations will get close. Most don't even recognize the iphone3g. I was lucky enough to already have the ExtremeMac clock radio when I got my iPhone... it's white, has dual alarms, charges but does give you that error message and tells you to put the iphone in airplane mode. I never do, and it clicks a little when a call comes through, but I can live with that.

Pickup Clock doesn't work for markers. Any alternatives?

It seems that Pickup clock doesn't work for markers (I guess markers are not considered an "event.") Is there a way to move markers as quickly as I do "event" data with pickup clock; e.g. a key command that allows you to write the location start time of your markers? Or even better, a way to move all data within locators to different song positions quickly?
I'm scoring a film and trying to break down my master "spotting" session (in which I placed markers at the beginning of each cue) into separate files. Moving "events" is easy, as I just separate at the marker using "cut at spl" select all following, move SPL to bar 1, and use pickup clock. However, no "global track" data seems to move via pickup clock. Is there an easier way to achieve my goal?

YES!! This would be AMAZING if I could do this easily. As a work around I change the actual movie and of the dialog / sound FX tracks, which can take some time to get them correct and leaves you with multiple song files. It would be much easier if there was a way to grab everything within your Left and Right Locators, and be able to move it around, copy and paste, etc.
I tried experimenting with Split/Cut/Insert Time and a segment of regions which included some volume/fader changes - no dice. Logic can copy automation vertically track to track but not in a Linear way.. though I may be speaking in complete ignorance.
I'm going to read up on Split/Cut Time as well, as this maybe the key. As for your automation issues, I know logic will not copy / paste automation when there is no "node," (i.e. if you are cutting on bar 5, but the last node was on bar 3 and the next on bar 7, it will not "go back to 3" to get the proper levels) so in the past I have placed nodes on the beginning and end of the section I want to copy, and the automation then copied fine. Of course if you have a lot of automation, it can be a PITA to place nodes in each track, but it does seem to work. Hope that helps!

I'm trying to find a clock radio that is compatible with the Ipod Nano (the one I found said it was compatible with the mini, gen2,3,&4)-Does the Nano fit one of these categories? What is the purpose of the docking adapter that came in the box?
If you've heard of a compatible clock/radio that contains station pre-sets , please let me know.

I'm a first time iPod user (nano). I found this info on the web: Dock Adapters enable any iPod model to connect to the iPod Universal Dock and other products that use the Universal Dock system. You simply insert the Dock Adapter that fits your particular iPod model into the Dock, then plug in your iPod. When you want to connect a different-size iPod, simply pop out the Dock Adapter and insert a new one. Compatible with iPod nano.
That said, I'm not sure if the adapter is backwards compatible or is a standard set for Nano and future iPods.
Now maybe you can answer a question for me. I've been searching for a clock radio w/ iPod doc that has the feature of being able to set two separate alarms. Have you come across any?

Is there an alarm clock app that ignores other notifications while you're sleeping?

my bb had an alarm clock application that was awesome - it "held off" all notifications that i would get during the night until i turned off my alarm clock in the morning. so, all the email notices, late night text messaging, facebook "pops" all were silenced and I could get a solid night's sleep keeping my phone on for the alarm app. does the iphone have such an app?

its already that way...
just put it on silent, the alarm still sounds.
my vibrate is off when in mute so it doesn't vibrate either-
but the alarm works when the phone is on silent. just make sure the ringer volume is up.

From one of your prior threads, you appear to be working in Windows 8.1 64 bit with your Premiere Elements 12.
Where are you when you say that Premiere Elements 12 will not accept your Adobe ID - are you at the Sign In dialog step of the end of the
installation? Whatever the location, what is being rejected or not recognized specifically - can you tell if it is the Adobe ID or password?
Are you working with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?

Since I upgraded to iTunes 11.01 the "Smart" playlists feature no longer works. I can CREATE the list but, the songs that I have played don't accumulate in the list. I haven't changed the steps that worked for me previous to the upgrade. I have no idea

Click on a station and drag to the left. The playlists sidebar will open up. Drop on the playlist you want to add to.

I have waited for 39 hours for a response from support team with no reply. I can get any of my credit cards to be accepted with itunes. Somthing is wrong on apples side of things..been to apple store and they could not help either. this is crappy. I am one of the biggest apple fans but this is one side of apple that really *****. I agree completely endive! I've been fighting for days trying to get some help with a technical problem and apparently, you can't get help from Apple without paying out the nose. The problem I'm having is due to an update they recommended which I installed and now have no sound in itunes!

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any iDevice.

There is no solution. The Canon UFR2 driver used by the MF series does not work when connected to a Windows share or a wireless print server, including the Airport Extreme or Express. The problem is wholly to do with the way in which Canon has written this driver and therefore the Canon support staff should know this and tell you (although their Mac knowledge in Australia is pitiful and most likely the same in your region).
If you had a model with Ethernet, then you could connect it to the wireless router and print via IP > LPD. But I know that your MF4150 only has USB as I mate of mine had one and he had exactly the same issue on Tiger, which I documented on the Tiger forum and the Airport printing forum.
So, don't waste your money on a print server. Get rid of the Canon and get something that will work for all your OS's. If I can suggest, the safest purchase would be to get a model that supports Postscript. While this does cost more, it will help to avoid any limitations that can occur when using a vendors proprietary printer language, like Canon's UFR2.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

IPod classic error 50, 53, 69, etc solution that worked for me

Giving back to the community that I spent so long searching in for a solution to this problem--even though I ended up with my own solution that may or may not work for you.
I bought a 6th gen 160GB iPod classic and tried to sync it to my massive 14,000(+)-song library. The sucker would give me all sorts of errors (50, 53, 69) and never complete my sync. It said my files were corrupted or that an unknown error occurred yada yada. I looked on the forums for a solution and none of them worked. I sent that iPod back and got a 7th gen 160GB instead. SAME ISSUE. MY GOD. My only guess was that since both iPods came from a Mac computer there was some issue with it connecting to Windows--ever after reformatting it.
So, I knew about formatting my iPod and then restoring it to try and resolve the issue that turingtest2 often would point out in many threads similar to this: iPod Classic
What I never did was a full format. But more specifically, I never did a full format and waited for it to finish.
The fix that worked for me was this (and I'm giving my exact order, even if the steps were unnecessary--as the fact that it worked was like a dream come true):
1) Go to My Computer, right click on Computer in the sidebar and click on Manage.
2) After the window pops up, click on Device Manager and then Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
3) Make sure your iPod is plugged in, and right click Apple Mobile Device USB Driver and uninstall it.
4) Now go to Disk Management in the sidebar. Right click on the iPod and select Format
5) For format options, select file system as NTFS (I know, I know--but it worked for me), and UNCHECK Quick Format.
6) Format it, and WAIT for it to finish. It will take a really long time.
7) After formatting, plug the iPod back in and wait for the driver to install. Open iTunes and restore the iPod.
8) Wait for the iPod to restore and then sync the music!
If everything was done correctly it should work, possibly.
My hard drive specs before this were:
Retracts: 34
Reallocs: 9344
Pending Sectors: 0
So, the specs were pretty bad, but it still worked for me.
I actually just got done doing another sync and it still seems to be working fine.

I have had success with this method also, but it is not full-proof. Try the movie "The Incredibles". The audio will be about 10-seconds out-of-sync. (BTW, I own this movie).

Solution that worked for me: Enabled SATA Controller which takes a while for it to detect SATA Drive and giving time for the system to warm up. I don't get that annoying message asking to restart Windows in safe mode, normal, & etc.
I've been having this rebooting problem lately. I tried everything from BIOS settings, checking drivers for problems, checking Windows XP, Power Supply, Checking Motherboard,and etc. I installed a fresh copy of Windows but still had that rebooting problem. When I got this MB 3 months ago, it was working perfectly and had no rebooting problmes. But its now fall in my place and the temp a bit cold.
I read about the temperature issue (20C). I disbaled the SATA controller because i don't have a SATA Drive.
Hope this will help others as well and for MSI to Fix the Problem.

i've a brand new rhinkpad yoga, with win 8.1 and intel ac 7260 wifi card
first of all the solution that worked for me is moving from WEP to WPA2 protection with the router
the problem was that i wasn't able to connect to internet using wifi
i got "limited connection" and i wasn't able to access internet at all
windows validated the connection and obtained an ip, but it wasn't then unable to access internet at all, i also wasn't able to access or ping the router.
i also got an error stating the lack of the default gateway, but this one seems to be resolved by windows check and repair procedures
my router had wep protection, and i used it with no issues with 2 android smartphones, an android tablet, a mac and a linux system, and in the past with windows 7 and vista systems.
i've searched for solution all the night and checked everything
- system and driver update (via usb thetering)
- various command to reset network configuration
- unchecking selected check box in energy saving tab inside wireless property panel
but the only one solution that worked was the move from WEP to WPA2

From what I gathered, about the Y2P Limited Wifi issue, this problem is solved by configurating a router to meet the computer needs. Once done, to fully implement this fix, it is adviced that you carry this configured router and use it every where you go, like a power cord. When you go to Statbuck in the monrining, be sure they hook up your router and return it when you leave. Alternitively, this can be done at other venues like the airport, hotel, school, work, etc.
I really don't know why people keep wasteing their time. Lenovo has chimed in and said this is a router issue. That said, the aformentioned advice is a formulated fix. Shall we put an end to thiese topics and get the forum moving again past the wifi issues? Like said many times, this issue has been fixed using the above reccomendation.
