Any body real use Lync client +XP+ZCM without MS client ?

Any body real use Lync client on the WS: XP_sp3+NWclient+ZCM10.3.4 (without MS Client for Microsoft network) ??
Problem:
- Power On
- Systep UP
- User Enter username/password in to the NW Login
- Login OK, NW Login Script OK
- Windows DESKTOP Up,- At this moment client Lync is launched ....
- User Enter Username and pasword for connect to the LYNC, press Enter...
and - Authentificatioт false...
- User Launch again Client Lync, Enter again username/password and only after this - log in to the Lync OK..
Problem - at the first connection always a problem also it is necessary to launch the second time client Lync
Any suggestions, please.

Is there any way to use the bundled PHP compiler without Web Sharing on? Is there a way to make sure Web Sharing only allows local access so others on the network cannot access it? You can use another router as an 'extender' (I know that this will work seemlessly with AirPort Extemes and AirPort Express's - you'll have to check with your router manufacturer to determine what they recommend for range extenders).

I am not using that drive, but I would recommend a FireWire drive (FireWire 800 if available), for better speed and reliability.

2 Problems using lync client andriod conncet to lync server 2013 ( contacts status is Presence Unkhown)

I have installed lync server 2013 in my lab . Everything is ok . but internal mobile client in my LAN can not work with lync !
I installed lync server 2013.
I create 2 DNS record to lync-server : lyncdiscoverinternal and lyncdiscover.
clients on PC (windows) work and everything is ok . when user use Anroid phone , cleint connect to lync server and list connnact list .BUT when Send IM to contact or start video call come this error :
" Failed to process the server response.Please try again . if the problem persists,contact your support team."
This is first problem. Another problem is the contact list for every user status is "Presence Unkhown" !
No online , No Offline and all of contact status "Presence Unkhown" !
If i had to config mobility in in lync server 2013 ? or mobility service built-in in lync server 2013 ?

As Thamara mentioned, you need to deploy reverse proxy.
Lync 2013 mobility clients are using a separate dedicated Ucwa parameter the URL is the same web services location as provided by the
External/Ucwa parameter.
You need to have a look at the following diagram.
The Lync 2013 mobile client will need to connect with the external web services. The way Lync is designed this communication is always established using HTTPS/TCP 443, so the traffic
will need to pass through a reverse proxy or similar service that will take this communication and forward it to the server hosting the external web services, now using port 4443 instead.

I recently bought a Samsung Gear S watch and got a phone line for it - for personal use. I have an office/ work mobile phone that is Samsung S5.
I read I must use a Samsung phone to download or activate/ use the Gear S watch - so I downloaded the Gear Manager on my work phone and setup the Gear S watch through my office phone ...

1. If it is possible to use Gear S as standalone device without connecting it with phone at all?
2. If I must use a phone - can I setup a different email account for Gear S watch than the email account setup in my office phone?
3. If I must use a phone - can I setup a different calendar (called Schedule in Gear S) for Gear S watch than the calendar account setup in my office phone?

Design - Lync client internal network subnets supports NAT?

Hi everybody, this is my question.
In my organization we Need to migrate Clients to lync 2013, but there are some internal Networks subnets where Clients relies that have their Network ip adrress NATed. Is it possible to use lync Clients in a NAT Network? Will it have some issues?

Base on my knowledge, for Lync Server side, it is not supported. For Lync client side, you need to make sure all needed client ports open.

Using older client 10201 with 11g database

Hello,
Are there any issues with using sqlplus client 10201 with 11g database with regard to performance? I would think using the 11g client with 11g database would be preferred but what would be the disadvantage in using sqlplus 10201 with 11g database?
Also, what would be disadvantage if using sqlplus 11g with an older database 10201/10202? Thank you.

I guess the most visible and the prominent issue of using an old version client with the more latest version db would be that the older version client won't be able to display/use some of the newest features. This sounds more like a usability issue than performance issue which you mentioned but that's what which came on top of the mind. Performance should not be affected as the client doesn' do much except to pull the data so if there would be any issues actualy , they would be with the server rather than the client.
Just my 2 cents.

I want to stop the Lync client from signing in automatically at start-up.

Not as far as I am aware (at least on a PC that the user is logged onto their domain account with) . The only option you have is to stop the Lync client from starting up with Windows (see here - explains both options dialog and reg key http://blogs.technet.com/b/rischwen/archive/2013/06/20/lync-2013-client-auto-start-registry-key.aspx)

Lync client cannot connect to Exchange Server when accessing from outside (Internet) - please HELP!

I have full representation of the Lync 2010 from Outside (i.e. Internet), but I still have small issue related to Lync-to-Exchange integration. Clients who is using Lync client from outside (i.e. Internet) cannot see Exchange-related information including
Call Logs, Voicemail and Calendar information.
Here is the experience and error messages that anyone will see when connecting to Lync server from Outside:

Hi, we had this issue and I ended up logging a MS support job. Turns out it was the TMG rule/Auth method causing the issue.
Job details:
**Symptom:
Lync Client External User are not able to retrieve the EWS URL
**Troubleshooting:
• We found External users are not able to Retrieve the EWS information in the Lync Client .
• We found the below error in the ETL logs.We found for EWS request we are getting the 401 response
HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized ( The server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web server is denied. Contact the server administrator. )
• TMG need pass through Authentication
Public names are autodiscover.domain.com and Outlook anywhere External FQDN and paths are /ews/* and /autodiscover/*, OAB/*
Users is All Users, and Delegation is "No delegation but client may authenticate directly" on the corresponding tabs of the publishing rule.
This changes is required for Lync Client as Lync Client does not work well with this BASIC authentication on TMG .
• After TMG engineer changed this settings in the TMG users are able to see EWS information.

Using iPhoto in Front Row without sharing

I know I could use iPhoto directly but is there any way to use iPhoto in Front Row without having to set up the share option in iPhoto?

Is iPhoto up-to-date? There were updates to Front Row in Mac OS X 10.4.x and both applications may need to be up-to-date. It's been a little while since I used Front Row in Tiger. iPhoto can be updated to version 6.0.6. There is also a Front Row update to version 1.3.1 that is specifically for iPhoto integration.

if you can't compile the webutil.pll in your forms developer you need to set the forms_builder_classpath in you windows registry. You have to add the frmwebutil.jar,jacob.jar to the registry key. The configuration files you mention are for running the forms.

For find activated lync client using SCCM 2012

In my current company we have in deployed lync client. But we are not sure how many clients are activated.
Is there any way to find which system got activated using SCCM 2012.
Please suggest and let me know any reference.

I really don't know, but I would guess that a file or registry key would change once it's activated. Basically, I would simply compare an activated system with a not activated system and look for the difference. Once you've located that you can create
a compliance setting to see how many system are actived, or not.
