Any chance I can get my e71 display Chinese?
I just got my e71 and its great. However I also view a lof of files in Chinese. Any chance I can get it to display Chinese characters instead of some weird squres? Thanks.

Welcome to the Nokia forum.
If your E71 doesn’t have Chinese installed, you’ll need to get a language pack land including Chinese.
There are 2 options that can be done by a Nokia Care Points:
1. Installation of the language pack (this application will erase if hard reset)
2. Flash of the phone with the language version (this will be permanent)

Accidently deleted email account-- any chance I can get messages back?
I've got 2 computers using the same email accounts. For many months I've used Mobile Me for the home email address, and a GoDaddy POP account for the work address. Mobile Me syncs the accounts but not the messages for the GoDaddy address. I manually send/receive messages with my GoDaddy account (pop server is set to store messages for a day so I can retrieve them on both computers)
Last night on my home computer I was given a message about needing to sync mobile me because something was reset or it was my first time syncing. The option selected was "merge all data." I restarted computer but continued to get this message. So I figured "what the ****" and I merged all data. Nothing seemed wrong with my home computer after I did this.
When I arrived to work this morning, my Mail application was showing a duplicate work account/address (go daddy). I'm assuming this was because of what I'd did the night before. By clicking on each duplicate account I discovered that the extra account had only been active since the night before. It only had new emails from the last few hours. The other work account contained all my messages just like it should.
So.....I deleted the extra work email account and kept my original account. My orignal work account still exists. All the emails are still in the account in my inbox..... BUT now when I click on these emails there is NOTHING shown for content. Each email opens to a blank page.
I'm pretty sure I'll still have the work emails on my home computer. If needed, Is there a way to transfer those emails to my work computer?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks for your helpare the mail setups on your two computers exactly the same? if yes you can quit mail and copy the folder /users/username/library/mail and the file /users/username/library/preferences/com.apple.mail.plist from the home computer to the corresponding location on the work computer. then when you start mail it will look just like it did on the home computer.
but if Mail setups are not exactly the same you shouldn't do this. instead copy the folder /users/username/library/mail from the home computer to the desktop (not to the library) on the work computer. next start mail and go to file menu->import mailboxes and select to import "Mail for OS X". choose the copied folder on the desktop and import the mailboxes you want. they will be imported into submailboxes of "Imported" mailbox in "on my mac" section and you'll have to move the messages from there to their appropriate locations.
the second procedure will work for any POP or local mailboxes but not for IMAP mailboxes.

Any chance we can get a list of what is included in the 7.1 update?
It would really help. If there are some things in there that have been ticking me off I will install it sooner -- otherwise I can wait a bit to see how it goes for others first.
Really, it would be good form to include release notes for what has changed/been fixed in updates. I guess I should just be glad a new update was finally issued.Another new feature is the improved sorting. You can now, for instance, change an album entitled "Le Parc" to be sorted as if it were "Parc" if you prefer; or sort artists or composers by last name instead of first name. Unfortunately, I think this requires a lot of manual work right now, but I'm sure someone will come up with some scripts to automate many common changes....

I set up 2 differents Exchange accounts on my iPad2, Hotmail and business email.
While the hotmail account has the "No limit" option for the syncing timeframe, the other one doesn't (2 weeks max.). Does anyone have that same problem and a possible solution?

If you backed up the phone when the video was still on it, restoring the backup will get it back. However, anything new on the phone since the backup will be deleted.

On the settings I went to iCloud then went to storage and backup and it saus total storage 5.0 gb and avaible storage is 2.7 gb but all of my photos arent there. Then when I click manage storage it says camera roll 2.0 gb is there any way i can get my photos back? please help
If you use the same iCloud ID and before you will get your contact, calendar and notes and other iCloud things back. If your previously has PhotoStream one you will also get back the last 30 days of photos.
It appears you do not use the same iCloud ID.
What do you see for Contacts, Calendar and Notes when you go to icloud.com and sing in with the same ID. You need a computer browser.

my iphone has been lost in my house and i need to find a way to track it and its offline. it wont connect to the internet so there isnt a way to use find my iphone. i just want to play a sound on it. is there any way i can get a app that connects my ipod from a laptop or a different way to find it.
If your phone is offline, the ONLY way to find it is to look for it the old fashioned way. Your phone CANNOT be located electronically if it's offline.

I was syncing everything to itunes and I tried to do my contacts, not knowing quite how. I ended up erasing all of them from my phone without any of them syncing to my computer or itunes. Is there any way I can get them back? I really need them all.
There are lots of ideas floating on the web for this particular issue - all of which I tried. I had the same problem and it turned out to be my USB cable. I thought the cable was fine as it would charge my phone and play but the data transfer pin was bent. I replaced the cable and it fixed the problem. Worth a shot as it is an easy fix!

While synching my iPhone, a box popped up and said that so many of my contacts are going to change. That happened before and my contacts and my wifes contacts ended up in each others phones. So we just had to go through and delete the ones we didnt want. When I did it this time, half of my contacts are gone and I have all of my wifes. Any way I can get my contacts back?
You should have been sycning them with your computer all along. Sync them from your computer back to the iphone.

I tried mackeeper to recover files but it could not. Any other way any one has tried to recover a system library folder after OS upgrade?No, it doesn't store a clone. You would have needed to make one with either SuperDuper or CarbonCopy Cloner.
If the files were in your ~/Library folder then they may still be there. As I said, you can access it by
going to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library". I wouldn't think an upgrade would overwrite anything in ~/Library.
If you have a Time Machine backup you may also be able to use that to retrieve them.
