Any chance of Apple coming out with another 17" or 18"-19" monitor?
It would be nice if they could open up the range of the monitor's a bit. The 23" and 30" are just too much monitor for my needs. Anyone hear anything on their next edition of displays?
Speculation isn't allowed here, so maybe that's why no one answered. But I doubt it, because the 17-19" LCD market is saturated with low- to high-end displays with low- to high-end prices already. This segment doesn't seem to fit with Apple's goals, considering their current displays are all mid- to high-end large widescreen models.

The Music app is ridiculously messed up ... if you use it enough, you will come across these issues which can only be addressed by an iOS update. -

you’ll know as soon as the rest of us do if Apple decide to produce a new non-Retina model. My guess would be that they won’t do so, but that’s only a guess.
With Internet, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint representing your main usage, either a MacBook Pro or a MacBook Air would be suitable for you. -
My account is blocked out. I registered my account for Russia because there was no that option for Ukraine. And now I can't do any purchasing, because apple store want's another payment option. What should I do? I have many apps on my account but I can't do even updating. Ps my friends here has such a problem too

I have 2 ipods in which one is disabled and one iphone 3 which is disabled...Is there any chance to sell it out in apple store?
Is there a SIM in the phone? It can not be activated without a SIM.
If there is a SIM in it, that message is often the result of the phone having been hacked or jailbroken to unlock it in the past. -
Do any of you apple geniuses out there know how to retrieve the answers to your security questions or at least reset them? Apparently its to much for the support team. Can't get an answer out of them...

If all else fails:
Go to: Apple Express Lane;
Under Product Categories choose iTunes;
Then choose iTunes Store;
Then choose Account Management;
Press Continue;
Now choose iTunes Store Security and answer the bullet questions, then click Continue;
Sign in with your Apple ID and press Continue;
Under Contact Options fill out the information and advise iTunes that you would like your security/challenge questions reset;
Click Send.
You should get a response within 24 hours by email.
Presently there appears to be problems on Apple's end, so it may be quite some time before they respond.

It is kind of round about way to get in
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
1) on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
2) Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select "done", in the upper right corner
3) sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the security questions.
4) At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

Has Apple come out with patch for iPhone-Bluetooth connection problem?
I have a Mini Cooper with Bluetooth compatibility and it was compatible with my iPhone for a couple of months, but I have found out that it only syncs up with iPhone software versions of 2.0 or 2.0.1. It seems that when I downloaded tunes on my iPhone from iTunes, it automatically "upgraded" my software on my iPhone to 2.0.2, which now makes it imcompatible with my Mini's bluetooth. Has Apple come out with the patch for this problem yet? I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem. If Apple doesn't advertise the patch for this pretty soon, I'll be blogging for help on this throughout the Internet. I have called Apple....they have put me on eternal hold and still have not given me a positive answer on this dilemma. Apparently the "senior" software guys haven't gotten the word on this coming problem for them. Needless to say my frustration is to the point of chucking this attractive nuisance into the river and going back to a less sophisticated form of communication. Anyone have any information on this? Thanks in advance.
You can send feedback to Apple regarding your issue with the Mini - http://apple.com/feedback . You could also contact Mini and see if they are working on a patch for their bluetooth.
I haven't had the fuzzy picture issue except when my hand shakes while taking a picture. There will never be a perfect update where no one has a problem. If you wait for the perfect update, you'll never update any electronic device. -
My airport express works on my MBPro 17 w/ 10.5.8 but not my MBAir11". The MBAir says that this version of Airport utility doesn't support this base station. Is ther any chance I can use this with my MBAir?
Is this an older "round" version of the AirPort Extreme? If yes, it is true that AirPort Utility 6.x no longer supports the older AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express models.
A model number......located on the bottom of the Extreme or on the side of the Express would be helpful to confirm what you have.
Apple probably does want you to buy a new AirPort Extreme.
The workaround might be to use a Mac or PC running a 5.x version of AirPort Utility.
A more complicated workaround would be to install AirPort Utility 5.6 on Mountain Lion. This is not supported by Apple......it does work for me.....but may not work for you. See this article for more details:

Will apple come out with an iTrip device made for the nano? I just spent 250 on it and I don't want to have to spend another 80 more for the monster cable!!!
If you specifically are referring to the iTrip, it's made by Griffin Technology; you'll have to ask them if they'll be releasing one for the nano.

I couldn't find it anywhere online... I mean, the current version is 2004, so does anyone know if they are coming out with a new one anytime soon?
I just don't want to buy that version, and have the new one come out in a month.

MacBook Mac OS X (10.4.8)If I hadn't gotten my copy of office:mac 'free' (if one excludes the premium one already pays for MacBooks) at the time of purchase from my Apple Store, I'd be running NeoOffice, too.
Might yet, as office:mac is feeling old and clunky and, as someone has already posted, the next version of Office isn't due out till late next year. -

I'm very used to using crt monitors and the quality of the current 30inch is nice but blacks are not quite as black and colors are not as rich.
Apple seems to be right on with what they have. Just hoping for an update to their displays soon.

But - probably not. Apple just released a 16-GB 5th gen model this summer.
Otherwise Apple would have revealed the new 6th gen in September/October this year. -
