Any charge for free app and issues at Apple Store?

In case we need to create free issues or even apps for iPad (from a non-profit organization), what will the incurred costs be through the whole process?
i.e. From the time of development of issues and the app in which the issues may work - is there any registration or license fees involved, till it reaches all customers - provided the package is for free?
Any charge for free app and issues at Apple Store for iOS apps for iPad?

You must pay the USD$99 fee to join the Individual Developer Program.
After that, there is no fee to put free apps into the iOS App Store.

Itunes charged for free app download (Update). No clue why this happened. Can anyone tell me what could be the problem?

If you mean the temporary store holding charge, as described on the page that you posted from, then that is only temporary, it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.
That 'charge' is made each time that you change your card details to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account.
If you mean a 'proper' charge, and it appears on your purchase history and on your credit card, then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

So on the one that you changed go into iTunes, go to the iTunes Store, login to your changed account and click on your purchase history.
If it does not show a purchase history, notify the people at the iTunes Store:

With a standard account you need a valid payment method even for free apps.
From the message it sound like there is something wrong with your account or some of the information you entered in the account is not correct.. Verify that the information is correct and then if still problem contact iTunes.

Why have I been extra charged for an app and have been billed twice for the same app?

We are are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support here, we won't know why.
I don't know what you mean by 'extra charged' (have you made in-app purchases within the app, or are you in the US and need to add on your state's sales tax to the listed price ?), or have you added or changed your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

  • HT3702 charged for an app and it was suppose to be free

How to contact itunes i was charged for an app that was suppose to be free and i want my money back.

Did you make an in-app purchase in the app, or did you add or change the credit card details on your account when downloading the app ? If you changed your card details then you will probably have received a temporary store holding charge to check that the card is valid and active as described on the page that you posted from, which should disappear within a few days or so.

  • I think I'm being charged for free apps?

Hi...I'm wondering, if there is any such thing as someone being charged to for free apps? I've been looking at my banking statements for  the past few months & it looks like I'm being charged for apps that I downloaded for free. I recently lost my credit card & had to get a new one. When, I changed my credit card information on Itunes, that's when I noticed I was being charged. I often download music on Itunes & upload my magazines to my Ipad, but these aren't only things I'm being charged for. Most of the apps I download are the free ones. It makes me not want to update my apps, because I know I'm charged. Please help me!

I have solved the problem I was showing negative balance in my bank so iTunes needs to verify my account by taking £1.00 every app.

  • TS1424 Charged for free app

On 06/08/12 I was charged for an app that had said free (the app is accoustic ruler.)  what is going on apple?

These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here. Did you make an in-app purchase in it, or did you add/amend your credit card details on your account ? If you changed your card details then is it $1 - if so then it's probably a holding charge which should disappear with a few days.
I can only see an Acoustic Ruler Pro which is a paid-for app (?)

  • HT204266 App store is Charging for free apps downloading? How do I stop this and get my money back?

  • Getting charged for free apps

mi ipod touch app store keeps sending me to the billing information for free apps

You get a receipt for everything, free or not. Check the receipts and see what they say; I'll wager that they'll show no charge.
As to credit card verification, that's normal whenever you have a credit card entered. Apple, due to the increased problems with fraud, is requiring more regular verification of cards, even if you're not purchasing anything with a cost associated. If it's saying that your security code is wrong and you're sure you're entering it in correctly, make sure that the name and address information match the same information on your credit card statement exactly. Any difference can cause such a rejection.
    Regards.

  • Charged for free apps?

Hi I just got a blackberry curve and was just wondering, if I download free apps, will I still get charged for data or anything? I'm with Koodo and on my plan I have unlimited facebook, bbm, twitter, etc. but nothing for web browsing or anything like that so I just want to make sure I don't get charged for it

If you're not paying for a data plan you'll probably get charged for data not included in the plan you have.
    So, be careful.

  • How do I keep getting charged for free apps

Hi I keep getting charged for downloading free game apps for my son. Why is this
I've been charged about £33.00 now for all different games that are ment to be free

It sounds like your son made in app purchases. These are very common with free games.
The games themselves are free, but the app developers offer in app purchases in order to add enhancements or add levels, and things like that. Stay away from those "free" games or read the app description carefully. The prices for in app purchases are listed on the left side of the app description page under the app icon.
You can turn off in app purchases in Settings>General>Restrictions. Or you can instruct your son to not make any purchases without your knowledge. In all fairness to your son .. Since I have no idea how old he is .... He may not even realize that he did make purchases .... Except for the fact that you have to enter your Apple ID password in order to make those purchases.
