Hi,
I have a requirement to update some Infotypes when the user updates the salary package from portal.
Is there any class or Function Module available?

I had a similar requirement earlier and I've used the Function modules listed below to update the IT0008, IT0014 & IT0589 respectively.

A report is be created that selects all sales orders created by e-Sales that are more than 20 minutes old and still have a delivery block:

These orders should be deleted from SAP system.
This report should be scheduled to run regularly every 10 minutes.
my doubt : is ther any BAPI or Function module to delete entries from a standard table...if no what is the way to delete the enteries from a std table...

U can use HR_BEN_CREATE_PLANS internally it calls HR infotype operation as specified by suresh.
Suresh : If there are approximately 3000 records to be updated on regular basis do u think is it better to use BAPI's or BDC

I don't know if any FM exists for your requirement. But you may like to copy it into a custom table and modify it according to your enterprise needs.

Class methodology is the future.
In this case, i would build an instantiated class where you would select all the details for 1 employee. Store those in attributes.
create methods for other functionality such as retrieving additional data, calculations etc...
EDIT: I should also point out that you should continue to add attributes and methods to your class until you model an entire employee object.
that way anyone who wants to know anything about an EE can just instantiate your class and retrieve the appropriate attribute or use a method to determine what they need.

Dev class for Function Modules

I am trying to find out any FMs or tables through which the development class(package) can be found out for list of custom Function modules. Currently using TADIR table we can find out dev class for function groups only.

Hi Lakshmi,
First Go to Table and pass your FM name to Table ENLFDIR Find Function Group and then go to TADIR Table and pass this FGroup as OBJ_NAME and get the DEVCLASS.
Use FM
"RS_ACCESS_PERMISSION
And Pass Object as FM name Object_CLASS as FUNC and Mode as SHOW you will get all the Details.
You will get the Details into a Structure header-transpkey(This is a Deep Structure)

Syntax Error with Table Parameter (type: ANY) when Creating Function Module

Hello experts,
I want to create a function module with a table parameter and table type is ANY. But when I check (Ctrl+F7) this function module, syntax error occurs - "In this statement, the internal table "MSG_TABLE_ITEM" must have the type "STANDARD TABLE"."
Could anyone tell me what the wrong is? And how can I fix it?

For table parameters, you can only pass
MSG_TABLE_ITM TYPE STANDARD TABLE
or
MSG_TABLE_ITM ( don't fill other columns TYPING ASSOCIATED TYPE ).

In Function module...... Under changing tab, give the parameter name and type enter associated type any.... You would get that same in the source code and also choose Optional check box.....
You will see exact code in the FM source code

Problem in getting public holiday class using function module

I am using function module
HR_PERSON_READ_WORK_SCHEDULE.
for getting the employee's actual work schedule and public holiday class FTKLA.
But I am unable to get the correct public holiday class.
Please guide me.

Class or Function Module to display PERNR based on OBJECTID

Hello All,
I have a requirement where i need to find out the Personnel Number based on the ObjectID provided in the HRP5102 infotype table.
I have tried with the CLASS CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE and method used is GET. But the PERNR Number gettng after the execution of method is not avaialble in the database.
Could anybody help me out in finding the relationship.Any FM or Class provided is helpful.....

You can get data from a cube,with mere database 'SELECT' statements. please find the following suggestions,
All Cube related data, you can find in the tables with the naming convention ' /BIC/F*CUBENAME'. Typical nomenclature of the database table is '/BIC/F' followed by name of the cube. if your cube name is 'ZALMPOS' then the corresponding name of the fact table will be /BIC/FZALMPOS.
The data is stored in this table with all keys of DIMENSION tables. If you have to map the keys to dimension tables to get the values of the characteristics. Typical, nomenclature of Dimension tables is '/BIC/D*Characteristicname'.
Note: Check in RSA1 if all your characteristics are mapped as dimensions in your cube.
