Any feasible way to export ads flat file

Hi,
Is it any feasible way to export ads flat file from the deploy applications built by:
1.) application view and
2.) classic application?
Great thanks!
Regards,
Kenneth

Hi,
I am not sure they really promote the utility, don't know why not. I know there a couple of versions out there depending on which version of EPMA you are using.
Also the 9.3.1 version has a nice little bug which sets your classic app to epma mode so the dimensions can't be edited, though this can be resolved by changing a value in a relational table.
Cheers

  • 10g data export to flat file (diffrent)

    hello
I could see that this question have been asked several times in several ways. But I have a little specific thing to ask which I could not find :(
Here is what I am trying to achieve:
-I have close to 50 tables which I need to export in flat file format with some deliminator.
-I would like to use a stored procedure to achieve it
-I want to write a simple SQL statement(not PL/SQL program) for the user's convenience for modifications in future
-I have tried exporting data using SQL developer in csv format but I would like to suppress the table headings and replace them with some other
-I am expecting not more than 1000-2000 records per table and also the number of columns per table are not more than 10
-I am using SQL developer 1.5 to do this and it has the export functionality but eventually the process would be automated so I would like to make it a stored procedure.
    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Kedar

You can use utl_file, see the specs :

  • Any way to export to specified file size?

Is there any way to export images so they are sized to fit within certain dimensions AND a specified file size? Similar to 'image processor' in Bridge/CS3 or the older Doc Brown's image processor.
Example: (processing images for web use)
I want to export a batch of RAW files to jpg,
Size them to fit within 800px x 800px,
And have them be a consistent file size of around 100kb
(This has been possible to do in Adobe Bridge for years)
I know I can edit Aperture's export preferences and adjust the image quality slider but final images have a range of file sizes and I find myself having to re-export some images over again after adjusting image quality to reach the desired size. This is a trial and error process each time.
Another workaround is to export the images as .tif files, then open in Adobe Bridge and process into jpg's using 'image processor' to reach the desired size. But that effectively negates the use of Aperture in the first place for batch processing files for size. In this case, it'd be more efficient to take Aperture out of my workflow completely and do everything in Adobe Bridge.
Has anyone found a plug-in or less tedious workaround for this?
    Cheers,
    J

James, you said "my website provider places an upper limit on file size and dimensions per image."
Aperture does take care of half of that, the pixel dimensions. If it was me, I would test out a few images at various levels of jpg quality (5, 6, 7 etc.) and see where both the file size ends up and how the quality looks. Then, just go with one your favorite combinations. Images with more detail will be larger and images with less will be smaller. In the long run, it should even out. If you had the ability to request a certain size, some of your images may look good and others bad. Personally, I would be more concerned with quality than a few k of pixels.

  • Export to flat file with unicode (chinese) characters??

I have an SSIS (2013) package that needs to send an email notification with query results (via attachment). I have a data flow task with a source sql query that gathers 2 columns - ID and NAME. ID is varchar, NAME is nvarchar (some records have Chinese symbols).
The destination is a .txt file. When I copy/paste a field w/ Chinese symbols to a .txt file, it shows up fine, so i know Notepad can handle the characters. I also have the .txt file set to Unicode encoding (I also tried ANSI originally). When I run the package,
it says that it successfully moves 50 fields to the flat file. However, when I open the flat file, I see that it shows 10 records. It stops when it gets to the record with a Chinese symbol in it...but doesn't produce an error. My plan was to then take the
attachment and use it in a Send Mail task. (i have the smtp/mail notification working fine...just need to figure out how to get the data to all export to the flat file correctly)
Does anyone know how I can get the ID and NAME fields from a query into an email notification (either as an attachment, or even formatted nicely (with tabs) in an email would work).

    Hi,
Based on my test, I can reproduce the similar issue in my environment. When we create the Flat File Connection Manager with the default settings, the data in flat file stops when goes to the Chinese characters.
To fix the issue that makes the Chinese characters to actually get written into the flat file, we should check the Unicode checkbox on the right hand side of Locale property in Flat File Connection Manager. In this way, the flat file can display Chinese
    characters.

  • Problem with exporting to flat file

    Hi all,
I have a dataset with many records. Each record has about 26,000 characters. I want to read the whole record into a table with a single field. So, I have a single field with CLOB datatype.
Now I want to export these records to a flat file. I tried spool on and spool off in SQL. But it prints on the first 84 or 85 characters of each record.
Can somebody tell me what is wrong ? Can somebody suggest a way to do this using expdp ?
I am working with Oracle Database 10g.
Someone please help, this has been going on since long...
    Thanks a lot
    sandeep

Thanks a lot for your reply Yoann. I tried what you've suggested and it worked.
But when the table was spooled, the record, after every 84 or 85 characters, gets printed on a new line.
Also, there is a separator "RECORD-----...." that gets printed every 8 or 10 lines. Can I also get rid of this in someway ?
Please excuse my silly questions, I'm very new to oracle.
    Thanks and regards,
    Sandeep

  • Export to Flat File

    Hi,
Need to export few columns (from an application) from BPC 7.0 NW version to a flat file on desktop. Is there any standard functionality to do it.?
Also, does BPC 7.0 NW has any retraction process chains available to retract back to ECC
    Regards,
    Abhi

    Hi Abhi,
I would suggest you to upgrade your system to 7.5 NW. You will get a standard package for retraction of your transaction data and master data.

  • Best Way to Export After Effects File and Save Transparency

    Hi all-
A pretty simple question. I need to export a file from After Effects and keep the alpha channel so I can superimpose it on some video in FCE. What is the best way to export it?
I recall hearing people mention that the Animation Codec with "Millions of Colors+" is the best way to go about doing it, in which case I'd just have to render it within FCE. Is that correct? If so, are there any other settings I should tweak to get a high quality file that will work with FCE?
    Thanks.

    Hi -
Animation Millions+ will deliver an extremely high quality file with the alpha channel. You will need to render once in FC.
    Hope this helps.

  • Export to Flat File Error

    Hi All,
I'm attempting to extract a table to a flat file. I have been successful in importing flat files, however, when trying to export I receive the following error:
SAP DBTech JDBC: [2048]: column store error: table export failed:  [30109] Could not create export location
    The export command I use is: export <table name> as csv into '/hana/tmp/';
The export directory above is correct and is the same location that I use to do an import. I've also tried exporting a table using File>Export> menu option. At first I received an error stating SAP DBTech JDBC: 258 (at 69): insufficient privilege.
The user I am using has both IMPORT and EXPORT privileges. I'm suspecting that some OS level permission is required. The target folder has write permissions so this should be ok.
Has anyone had any success export table contents to a csv file?
    Regards,
    Gary Elliott

    Hi Gary,
On the OS level, the <sid>adm account needs read, write and execute permissions on the /hana/tmp folder.
Make sure these permissions are set and try again.  I don't see anything wrong with your export statement syntax, so I think that the folder permissions must be the issue.
    Cheers,
    Jody

  • Does anyone know any FREE ways to export text conversations?

I know I can forward individual conversations and I know I can take screen shots, but is there a FREE (I know there is expensive software out there for this) way to export text conversations as a .txt file, or any file type?

For this kind of website promotion, you might need to go ahead and purchase some banner advertising or pay for some prioritized placement in search engine results....like Google's adwords program...

  • Is there a way to export multiple design files at once?

I currently have about 30 old forms that I am no longer using so I want to clear them from my online account, but I need to keep a copy of the form and responses for audit purposes.
Rather than go through one by one, is there a way I can batch export the design files, and the responses for the 30 forms?
    Thanks
    Luke

Unfortunatley no.  You must export the forms one at a time.

  • Error when exporting to flat file in ODI 11g

This works ok in ODI 10g. I'm using IKM SQL to File Append on Windows Server 2008 R2
Getting the following error when exporting to a flat file in ODI 11g: ODI-40406: Bytes are too big for array
I've seen a couple of threads like this on the forum, but I've never seen an answer to the problem.

Problem is with the difference in behaviour for the IKM SQL to File Append KM between 10g and 11g.
Our 10g target file datastore had a mixture of fixed string and numeric columns. Mapping from the source to target was simple one to one column mapping. It generated the desired fixed format flat file; numerics were right adjusted with embedded decimal point and leading spaces. Each numeric column in the generated flat file occupied the exact space allocated to it in the layout. This gave the desired results, even though documentation for the 10g IKM states that all columns in the target must be string.
When we converted to 11g and tried to run this interface, it generated an error on the "numeric" columns because it was wrapping them in quotation marks. The result column was being treated as string, and it was larger than the defined target once it acquired those quotation marks.
In order to get 11g to work, I had to change all the numeric columns in the target data store to fixedstring 30. I then had to change the mapping for these numeric columns to convert them to right adjusted character strings (i.e. RIGHT(SPACE(30) + RTRIM(MyNumericColumn),30).
    Now it works.

  • Any Other ways to implement a .jar file?

    Hi there!!
I'm a not a java expert, I'm not a beginner as well. I would like to know other ways of executing a .jar file.
I have jar file which would run a tool called "RRDTOOL" after executing it. That tool users create, update and few other commands to create a database. Here is a snap shot.
Is there any way I can implement this .jar file so that I can run the RRDTOOL from the command line itself.
    Like this
    [http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/4/17/2408006//2.jpg|http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/4/17/2408006//2.jpg]
    or this
    [http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/4/17/2408006//3.jpg|http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/4/17/2408006//3.jpg]

    @AndrewThompson64 ,
Okai now. Let me get into the details still further.
RRDTool is a tool that creates a Database using its native commands "Create, update and few more). The database that is obtained from RRDTool has .rrd extension. Jrobin is a utility that helps users to create a similar database using Java. Note that the database will have a .jrb extension in this case.
Now, as mentioned above rrd.jar is something that runs jrobin. The interface that is created using rrd.jar file allows me to create ".jrb" file using RRDTOOL commands. The rrd.jar file acts as an interface in converting RRDTOOL commands to java functions and create .jrb file.
Now, I want to create and edit .jrb file with out getting into the new environment created by rrd.jar file.

  • Is there any easy way of exporting a high-res still from FC Studio into Photoshop?, is there any easy way of exporting a high-res still from FC Studio into Photoshop?

Is there any way to do this other than using Grab, which is too low-res? Thanks!

Any still you export from FCP will never be better quality than a video frame itself, which in the case of HD would be an image 1920 px X 1080 px @ 72 dpi.
To export a frame from FCP, park the playhead on the frame you want to export.
Go to the menu File > Export > Using QuickTime Conversion . . . and when the pane opens, at the bottom set the format to Still Image and the press the Options button to set the format you want the still image to be.
Once you have done that, navigate to where you want to store the image and press Save.
