Any get Google Voice to work on 2.3.6?

Hi,
I'm a new Charge owner as of 1 week now. I received the Gingerbread update as soon as I turned on my new phone.
I've installed Google Voice but cannot get it to work. I cannot make calls from the Charge and have the calls come from my GV #. I've checked the option in GV that says to ask everytime if I want the call coming from GV.
Anyone have GV working fine with their Charge on Gingerbread? I just trying to figure out the issue....

Sorry, it appears this site was broken by a change to how Firefox handles a particular script command.
(When a script uses location.replace() to navigate to a new URL, apparently it now needs to use the whole URL, not a relative URL.)
Hopefully they will fix it soon, but until then, you can't use it in Firefox 4. (Or you would have to hack the page to use it, which probably is more trouble than it's worth.)

Google Voice not working. Is the blame with enabling Advanced Calling?

Have any Verizon users had more than the usual amount of trouble setting up Google Voice for voicemail? I previously used Google Voice as my voicemail on my Galaxy Note 4, which required the standard workaround to get it working with Verizon (calling the three codes to setup call forwarding). I recently moved to an LG G3, however, and can't get Google Voice to work as my voicemail now. I have tried calling the three forwarding codes (*71+[Google Voice #], *90+[Google Voice #], *92+[Google Voice #]) but to no avail. I have also tried to get it working via setting up conditional call forwarding online in My Verizon.
After trying and retrying these methods, I will call my phone from another one, only to ignore the incoming call and have the phone I'm calling from either continue to ring or go silent (the latter seems to happen more often). If I do not end the call from the other phone, my phone will sometimes ring again, at which time I ignore the call again the line remains silent.
When I first setup my G3, an update enabling Verizon's Advanced Calling was available and didn't hesitate to follow through with the update. Therefore, it's hard pinpoint the exact problem.
Has anyone else with Verizon had this much difficulty in getting Google Voice to work? Please, help!

Same issue. Google Voice does not work with VoLTE on some people's accounts. Google says it's not them. Verizon says it's not them. There is no fix to this. The only option you have is either dump Google Voice or dump VoLTE. I did the later, but you have to do it on the phone and through the webpage and then set up Google Voice again. From what I can gather from others, call forwarding through VoLTE is not working like it should on all accounts and causing Google Voice not to work. Verizon is less than helpful on this issue.

You can backup your bookmarks (in case something goes wrong) and import them again later as is described in the article posted above.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Google Voice not working in Blackberry Bold 9700

I am using blackberry bold 9700 with the OS version 5.0.0.714; I have downloaded google voice and its not working, let me give the details:
1) It can sign-in and also detects my goog voice number (while sign-in used gmail id to login)
2) Cannot send sms or call.
3) tried to use wi-fi if its blocked by operator
4) trying to use from outside of USA
5) when I am using it from my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2; its working!
Any help?

According to that link they are referring to *an older version of Safari (3).*
Go back to that page, scroll down and click No. You can at least provide feedback.
Since you are running Snow Leopard, try opening Safari in 32-bit mode.
Right or control click the Safari icon in the Applications folder, then click: Get Info In the Get Info window click the black disclosure triangle next to General so it faces down. Select 32 bit mode.
Relaunch Safari. See if that makes a difference.

Google Voice not working in Safari

Recently I have constantly been getting this page while trying to access GV in Safari (http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?answer=32050&hl=en&ctx=ch_C heckCookie&p=grandcentral). I follow the instructions and the problem remain. I quit Safari and can access Google Voice temporarily until the next time it acts up.
Anyone know why this is happening and if you also have been having this problem?

Why is Google voice search working so poorly?

Just in the past few days, when I ask Google (Google app) for a search, my spoken words appear correctly on the screen, but the screen freezes there and I get no search results. I've not had this problem previously. My wifi connections, etc. are working fine. Since this is a very recent occurrence, I am wondering if others are having the same problem on their iPhones.

As the Google Search app is Google app, not an Apple product, you'd probably be better off asking for help over in the Google forums.

Can no longer get Google maps to work

I have an iMac G5 with OS10.3.9 and use Safari. I have used Google Maps for quite a while with no issues until over the last month. When I open google maps and type in an address it does not respond. The map window is open with the map cursor and zoom but no response or any data loads for any address request I try. Any ideas?

Try a different browser and/or update your OS.
If the problem appears only in Safari then I suggest that you cross-post in the Safari Forums where the Safari users hang out.

I can't add my google account to iCal...
Error message:

"Your calendar acct isn't on a server that can receive your calendar information securely.."
I have had this work just fine in the past, had to remove my accounts a while back, decided to add them back, and this error keeps popping up...
Can anyone help??

Since I put Firefox as my webbrowser, I can't get google earth to work or windows media player when serching for album info and things like that and some other progams like these that acsses the internet it won't work. Can you help?

Does anyone know or have any ideas on how to use a cisco 186 to get Google Voice to work on a Analog phone? Not sure if it's possible or not. I don't see any real info on Google allowing SIP.

Google maps not working with symbian belle upgrade

guys after recent upgrade with symbian belle google maps stopped working is there any problem will belle dose it support google maps 4.1.1

For those people still can't get Google map to work on Belle after the Wifi trick, a hard reset finally fixed mine! (No, a soft reset did not fix mine, but you should try it first.) Yea, it's a pain in the butt having to reinstall some apps and reconfigure preferences. But my phone also runs smoother and the battery lasts longer, as least it seems. I still need to turn on Wifi for Google map to start.
Detailed steps:
Do a full backup with Nokia Suite, just in case. (If you restore later, do not restore apps & preferences. Otherwise, Google map won't work.)
Put phone in Offline mode to end all calls and connections: Press Hangup > Offline
Try Soft reset first: Settings > Phone > Phone Management > Factory Settings > Restore.
Reinstall Google Maps.
If soft reset didn't work, try Hard reset: Settings > Phone > Phone Management > Factory Settings > Delete data and restore
