Any good online resources for pages templates?

I typically use Google docs for basic word processing. Needed some more robust features from time to time, but I hate having to run Word in VM Ware and not a fan of Word anyway. Really loving Pages so far. Any good online resources for pages templates?

There are several options for templates you can use in Pages. First, there those submitted by other users & available at iWork Community.
You'll find some links in the Resources section here.
I haven't tried these Microsoft sites for awhile, so I'm not sure if these steps are still valid, but it does give you a starting place.
Try Microsoft Office templates. to find links to many PC templates. Then comes the Microsoft trickery part. Choose the category then sub-category & then click the name of a template. Next is a page with a "download" button that takes you to the "Your operating system doesn't meet system requirements" page. All that means is that you can't use their automatic download service. Click the "download now" button in the section to manually download. Somewhere along the process was a license agreement. The file I chose downloaded as 06369101.cab. Double-clicking it launched Stuffit & resulted in a folder. I then had to change the .dot file in the folder to have the .doc extension. It then opened in Pages with only one unsupported warning.
The Mactopia site has a lot less templates to choose from, but was less involved to download. Most templates for Word will open nicely in Pages. I haven't come across one that doesn't, but that doesn't mean someone else might. The only thing to watch for is the file extension. Some Word templates have an extension other than .doc. You will still be able to use them, just change the extension to .doc in the Finder or Pages won't recognized them as Word files. Of course, you can't change just any file's extension to .doc & have Pages open it. It must be a Word document.

Hi all,
I am tryig to find is there any BAPI/Function module for updating new record with Start Date and End date for specified Personal Number in PA0027 Table.
In PA0027 table i will be passing start date and end date for selected personal number, it needs to add new record with this details in the table checking the condition that this start date and end dates should not be between any of of start date and end dates for the specified personal number.

Implementing Sites for a new Single Domain Environment and effects on Exchange

Copied from the Active Directory forums as the suggestion of replies.
I didn't find exactly what I was looking for so decided to create my own question to get some direct feedback.
Currently we have a single domain environment with two domain controllers located at two separate sites. When the domain was first set up, no configuration was done in the Sites and Services module for Active Directory. The two domain controllers we have are
currently located in the Default-First-Site-Name container. We do not have any subnets configured with the Sites and Services module.
These two domain controllers are located at two different sites with different IP schemes and the sites are connected with a high speed site-to-site VPN. We also have 2 satellite offices with their own IP schemes as well with more offices to come. In the future
domain controllers will be placed at these satellite offices which are connected with a slower site-to-site VPN to the main offices.
All replication and network functions are working well now, but I would like to know what the effects would be and what to watch out for if I create sites for our environment. I am particularly concerned about our Exchange 2010 server and need to make sure
that the change will not disrupt communications between it and the domain controllers.
I would like to create a site for each of our locations and link the subnet to that site now so that when we install the domain controllers the configuration is ready.
Any suggestions or input is highly appreciated thank you in advance.

Exchange will be an issue only if your Exchange servers span sites when your new Windows sites are created. If you have Exchange servers all in a single location, adding sites to your Windows forest will cause no issues. However, if you have
Exchange servers in both locations, as soon as a new site is defined for an Exchange server in a separate location from your other Exchange servers, you will start having issues. Let me give some examples so you can see what problems might occur:
Two datacenters, one Windows site, Exchange mailbox servers in both locations (primary and DR), but hub and CAS roles only in the primary datacenter:
In this situation, as soon as your second site is defined, the server in the DR datacenter will no longer be receiving mail - there is no hub to deliver it - and users will no longer be able to access their mailboxes - there is no CAS to support them.
Solution: Add hub and CAS to second datacenter and all is well with the world.
Two datacenters, one Windows site, Exchange multirole servers in both locations (primary and DR), but CAS Array defined:
Now we have a little bit better setup, since we have all roles in both locations. However, the CAS array in the primary site isn't going to be able to support your client connections in the DR site - so users will be connecting directly to the CAS
servers in the DR site (not optimum). Solution: Define a second CAS array for the DR site, with its own load balancer and configure the databases in your DR location to use that CAS array as the RPC Client Access Server.
There are other oddities, but as you can see, there will definitely be issues if your Exchange servers aren't all in the same location and you start defining Windows sites ...

Are there any good code examples for displaying preview images in the storefront?

I can gather other info using folio.xxx, but can not find any good examples to use for preview images. Tried folio.getPreviewImage() with no success. Oh, I should mention it is version 2. Plenty of examples for version 1.
Perhaps if I get a little more specific.
I am calling up the folios via:

This eventually works into a function where I am gathering and displaying folio data:

In FolioItemView's render function, there is a function(follow the nested functions!):

If you're making any changes to where the preview is displayed, you can just swap out the class ".folio-thumb" to whatever the class (or id) is of the element you're wanting to render the preview in.

Anyone See any protective sleeves/cases for the New macbook alum.?

Hey. I just got the new macbook alum. and i want to get a protective sleeve or case before it gets its first scratch.. The person at the apple store said that the old macbook cases and sleeves wouldnt work that great because the new macbook is much thinner than the old one. I just ordered a suede sleeve from Watefield Designs but thats because it was the only thing i could find.. Anyone see anything else that would help??

Im really liking their stuff! Even their wallets are cool. I am thinking of getting the 'Red & Republic' (http://www.simonandcleo.com/product_p/cbr002.nb.htm).

Any good DVD Player for KDE?

I have switched from Gnome to KDE, and I am liking it...
I used to use Totem and VLC to play dvds, so , is there any good dvd players in qt?

For DVDs, I still use kaffeine most of the time, but I also use VLC and kmplayer and regular old mplayer at times, too. I dislike the direction kaffeine has taken UI-wise. It used to be a thing of beauty, and now (IMO) it's a good example of what goes wrong with some KDE apps.

How do I change the default site for a new tab?

I want to change the page that opens when I open a new tab. I followed the answer that was given for the "how do I change which website that opens when I open a new tab?" question (4/5/14, given by ideato to emmafrom), without success.
(The steps advised were:
In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page.
copy and paste in the search field browser.newtab.url
double-click on it and type the web page you want
Click OK, and you are OK. !)
As mentioned, this did not work. I still get a bing search page for a new tab, regardless.

I hadn't heard about it until your post. I'm not sure it's been around long enough for anyone to know if it is effective. There are various packages around that provide a similar service.
One thing I couldn't find was if the license was time limited; i.e., do you have to pay that fee yearly?
If it is a lifetime license, then it seems to be a good deal, especially the Family pack.
I think you also have to decide if a personal property rider on your insurance would be more economical. The value of your data would weigh pretty heavily on this tradeoff, I think.
